We choose Morton's Grille most of the time when our birthdays, anniversary and some special occasions.
The atmosphere is nice with great foods!!

We stopped by before a concert. Sara was our server and she was outstanding. The menu was different than the steakhouse and had great options. Will definitely go back again soon.

Good balance of having some of the Morton's steaks on the menu but still lower priced items like burgers or chicken sandwiches. More casual environment as well.

Excellent is the first thing I can think of , our server never missed a beat - what I mean he was probably the best I have ever bend around , he is Hispanic and very good at his job when I sat down at our table he addressed me as Mr. Reynolds and that really made me feel good .

Every thing was awesome we enjoyed it such much and it made me feel like somebody not just like the old broken down Marine that I am . I know this part is not what you wanted to read , but the whole experience was great and we had a great MOTHERS DAY thank you .

This was an overall bad experience. The service was disjointed. My order was not correct. My husband’s entree didn’t look the same as when I ordered it a week ago.

We’ve been to Morton’s in other states and were excited to dine there again. We made reservation online , on arrival we were NOT greeted at the door . We went up to the reception desk and were eventually asked if we had made a reservation only to then stand there with three staff members present , one on the computer and two more just looking at us. Eventually we were sat at a table by the patio door , the restaurant was not even a quarter full at this time and we requested another table, which was not well received, “I need to check with the manager” in a tone that was not customer friendly, then only to be offered the immediate next table.
Our wait staff was polite but not the most attentive. Our appetizer plates remained long after we had finished. Our main entree arrived minus one side , we flagged down our wait staff to be told “it takes longer to cook so will be a while , I’ll go check on it”. Several minutes later it arrived with no apology.
Due to the lateness of the side we had to go box /bag which was then placed directly in the middle of the table , we couldn’t even see each other let alone hold a conversation. We intended to order coffee and deserts but instead ordered to go desert as we got the impression with the to go bag that they needed our table.
No one thanked us for coming or even attempted to open the door when we left.
Over all except for your steak it was a very disappointing experience. We are sharing this with you so you may help those at this location, it’s the attention to detail that should separate you from the rest not the lack of.

We have eaten at Morton's in The Woodlands on many occasions and have always had both good food and service. However, on this occasion, we waited 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive and even longer to place our meal order, even though the wait staff knew we had a time constraint. The service was extremely slow and our meals only arrived after we inquired as to where they were. When our meals finally arrived, one of them was barely at room temperature and overall the food was average, at best. This experience was extremely disappointing and we are unlikely to make a return visit anytime soon. Previously, we would have recommended Morton's to a friend but could not based on this visit.

Horrible service, it was a concert night in the Woodlands so you would think they would be professionally prepared, well they were not. 15-20 minutes wait on getting drinks, EVERY TIME, even for a glass of wine. We sat for ages with empty drinks. Bar was completely under staffed for a busy night. Our poor server was handling too many tables (not her fault) and the bar was essentially shutting service down.

Careful if you have a shellfish allergy, they use the same oil fryer for shrimp as with other fried items on the menu and could not accommodate the shellfish allergy for the quail appetizer. Absurd for any decent restaurant.

It’s a shame the Morton’s name is on this one. The 7 of us will not be back.

Went to Mortons on a busy easter weekend. Service was hard to come by, but good when it did. I thought some of the food was good, but some of it was mediocre. I personally had a steak and eggs from the brunch menu, the steak was overcooked and it only came with 2 egg rather than the three I was promised. We had some fries on the side, they were excellent. Overall I thought it was expensive for what we got.

Morton's Grille is the place we go for all our events.....Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years, Easter, etc.

We are always treated like we are special and the food is fantastic.

we sat outside by choice. there was music being played outside and it was so loud we finally had to ask for it to be turned down. waiter didn't seem to know what a "dry" martini was, and the first try was a very "dirty" one. sent it back. the table was small and what with drinks, appetizers, salads, etc. it was soon very full; yet we had to ask for the used dishes to be removed, so we could have room for dinner. however, the food was the usual excellent you would expect from Mortons.

I guess cajun mean crusted in salt for the pork chop, and the asparagus wasn't really cooked. Service was great and it was nice otherwise.

I had a reservation for 5 indicating a birthday. We were seated and only had one other table of people visible . For the establishment being almost empty I really would have thought the service would have been spot on, however it was not. Very slow. My medium 8oz filet was very well done. Almost jerky. She didn't even mention the toppings I could get which would have been nice to know since I had not been there before. Sides were good. Buttermilk chicken sandwich was a no go. We paid 300.00 and left with no mention of a birthday. Would have been nice for them to say something since they were so slow and they were aware. Overall I will stick to my steak selling establishment of Kribys when I want to spend 300.00 again.

Everything was great except the coffee after the meal. My wife asked for decaf. Her decaf was not fresh brewed. It tasted very old. She couldn’t drink it.

Otherwise, the meal was an A.

Thalia was our server and she was great! Very attentive and helpful. Loved her pep and enthusiasm. The food was delicious. I got a Waygu steak with mac n cheese. Best combination! My husband got the same steak and button mushrooms. Both sides did not disappoint. Initially the hostess sat us at a table right at the front of the restaurant by the door. We requested to be moved to another table, a booth but those were "all reserved" . By the time we left there were still a few empty booths. That was a little disappointing. We were only there an hour so I feel like we could have been able to get the booth. Oh well....

We were disappointed to learn that they had changed a few items on the menu. One being their signature matchstick truffle fries! It was a must with happy hour and a hit always! It will just not be the same without them.

Excellent service and wine recommendations from Sarah! Very good rib-eye steak. Only complaint is that they would not fulfill request for vegetable substitution.

We've eaten at Mortons several times and know it is usually loud and pretty cramped in the main dining room. This time we had a reservation & got sat directly by the patio door. Every time it opened (all the time), we were blown by a giant forceful wind. There was no other table available to move to so we sucked it up. But the service was awful, our waitress was very slow to take our order. When she finally did, we waited and waited and waited for our food. Finally she came over & explained she had never turned in the ticket. We had already had appetizers and salad....got our dinner about an hour later. They offered free dessert but the experience was awful. Food was good.

We always go to eat at Morton's Grille when we want to eat nice steaks. Taste was good as usual, but atmosphere was a bit different with lot of kids. We went for Valentine's dinner, so wanted have a bit quiet way, also, you don't have any service for "special day" like birthday or Valentine's day dinner, which is a bit disappointed.

My sisters and I booked a reservation for my Mom's birthday. It was a totally painless process. The food was very good. They offered my Mom a free dessert and printed a little special menu for her. These small things really added a nice touch.

We have been to the restaurant several times in the past. On this occasion the food service was extremely slow. It was probably close to an hour from the time we ordered to the time we were served. In addition after ordering it was approximately 30 minutes later that I was told the Rack of Lamb was no longer available. Seems to me this should have been recognized by the staff much earlier. I then ordered the Coulette steak, which wasn’t all the good.
Finally, when the bill came I was still being chard for the Lamb. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, the error quickly corrected.
