The owner was very accommodating and friendly. Food was excellent, my husband had the stroganoff and I had the baby back ribs... absolutely scrumptious!!!!😃😃😃
Very good casual restaurant with many menu items to choose from.
A pleasant surrounding of rustic wood and stone fireplace makes this a cozy spot for a great dinner. The staff is attentive, the food is good, and we were not rushed. we had several dishes with the chicken being the best. One of our party had the Elk and was not impressed (it was a bit overcooked and the raspberry sauce was overwhelming).
Great food and great service. Will definitely be back again and recommend to our friends.
All was good
Very good (but not quite excellent) service. All the food was fantastic. Everything is made in house (I believe even the ketchup). Slow bar, but good drinks. I will definitely repeat.
Wonderful service and great dishes. Celebrated my son’s 10th birthday there as a small family of four. The restaurant allowed him to pick his free birthday dessert which was really cool...btw he loved the creme brûlée. Will return for sure next time we’re back in Mammoth.
Well-appointed mountain restaurant for romantic dinner the service was spectacular
the menu, a number of options I was dying to explore until hearing the specials list
I'm sure I could not have gone wrong but the swordfish won out and was very Worthy
Highly recommend oh, we will be back
One thing went south and the fixed it. Deep fried branzino to hard. They took it right off my bill. I will go back.
Amazing food, amazing service.
Located btwn Village & Mammoth central, we love the menu’s varied selections, cocktails are amazing & bar is lively. So happy to have them in the neighborhood & always in our list as we visit Mammoth year round. Reservations advised!
We got a fixed price menu due to Thanksgiving, choices were all good, specially the turkey. The prime rib was just ok. Desserts we're good. Would definitely go back to try the regular menu. Service was excellent. Ambiance was cozy and family friendly.
Excellent food and great place to eat in Mammoth!!
Great place and food
Early closing for dinner
The food and service are very good but I suggest going when they open. Once the restaurant is half full, you can hardly carry on a conversation with your dinner partners because of the noise level.
Great service. Good food with a nice romantic feel in Resturant
Excellent food quality, preparation, and presentation!
A beautiful quiet little restaurant. Enjoyed our 2 year wedding anniversary here. Food was amazing and service was great.
Seating a bit too close quarters. Any movement was bumper cars with opposing table chair knocks. Food was terrific!
Recommend Morrison’s very highly. Great selection and very good special dishes, reasonable wine prices, fantastic wait staff, nice ambiance and quiet enough to enjoy conversation. Visited as a couple on a recommendation, enjoyed it so much we brought friends along just two days later. We had a seared Ahi tuna main and a seafood with spinach angel hair pasta dish one night, and a sea bass with hot mustard and another sauce on the other night—all with wonderful flavors and well seasoned.
Love the atmosphere here! The food was delicious and our server was excellent. I had the crispy skin salmon which was excellent while others in our party had the homemade pasta (excellent) and steaks. All the meals were tasty. We were going to pass on dessert but decided on the Convict homemade strawberry ice cream. SOOO good - we wanted the recipe but...We will definitely return on our next trip to Mammoth!
We loved our dinner here...great ambiance...great food....great service..
It was a delicious and a very enjoyable experience, we will eat there again! One suggestion, we asked to split the Caesar salad, would have been nice to get 2 salad plates vs sharing from one plate.
We had a reservation for a Friday night dinner. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately (although the table was not that great, next to the hostess stand). Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was very tasty (Caesar salad, lamb shank, branzino). The portions were very good. We really enjoyed our dinner.
Every time we are in Mammoth or close to Mammoth we have dinner at Morrisons. Food and service are consistently great!
Everything from beginning to was perfect. Excellent food , great service and beautiful presentation.
Sever gave me the wrong meal and my husband's order of beef strogenoff- the meat was tuff .
Family get together
We had a great time at Morrison's. Started with drinks. The Mule was terrific and so was the Old Fashioned. The beet salad was excellent. Could have been a whole meal but I followed it with butternut squash ravioli which rounded things off perfectly. My husband had the ribs and really liked them and someone else in our party ordered the hamburger which she loved. Would definitely go again.
Service was excellent. Food was delicious and better than Skadi!
A little pricey for just ok food. Our favorite salmon dish was taken off the menu.
Loved the low key contrast of Morrison's to the noisy and tacky, cheaper restaurants within walking distance of our lodging spot, the Quality Inn. From the clever and artful postings of the evening's specials, to the welcoming comments and recommendations of the owner, to the quality of the service and food, this was a hit for us. As "engaged" seniors, we felt we could enjoy an upbeat ambiance but didn't have to be overwhelmed by noise and boisterous craziness. There were some terrific and creative menu offerings, and the individual attentiveness from the owner was really appreciated. The prices were right, and the full bar creations were terrific. Thanks, Morrison's!
This was our first visit to Morrison's and we enjoyed it very much. The experience definitely met our expectations. The food and wine are good value and reasonably priced. The menu had some unusual dishes, which made for a welcomed change from the usual, such as smoked chicken wings and thighs (the thighs seem to have disappeared from the menu), bronzino, and barramundi. The food was very well-prepared and delicious! We liked it so much we went back a second night and recommended it to a friend, who also enjoyed it very much. If you get a window seat, there is a bit of a view of the mountains. The ambience is very pleasant, nice for a date night or casual dinner, and the service was quite attentive. We highly recommend it and will definitely return on our next visit to Mammoth.
We really enjoy this restaurant. The food is delicious and the wait staff is great EXCEPT for the manager. He has such a sour personality and thinks way to highly of himself. He is NOT a good people-person to have out mingling with customers who are going to spend at least $100 on a meal. Get rid of him and keep everyone else!
Mike provided excellent service and everyone is nice
Fantastic service and delicious food in a smaller dining room that was quiet enough to have a thoughtful conversation. Great mountain-cabin ambience. Wish we had known that we could park at the adjacent hotel, but the sign was blocked so we walked a few blocks. Definitely a place we will revisit often.
We both had the whole fish and it was spectacular! Our server was knowledgeable and very available but unobtrusive otherwise. Looking forward to coming back to Mammoth just to eat here.
Awesome food. Really nice staff.
