Executive Head Chef, Sushil Kumar, describes his food ethos as a celebration of fresh local produce, served up with innovation. The award-winning Morrison Grill is one of the best restaurants in Dublin city and is home to one of the first Josper Grills in Ireland, which is a combined charcoal grill and oven that can reach temperatures of 500°C. This ensures that our steaks and other meats are cooked perfectly.

This summer, the five-star Morrison Hotel invites guests to experience a new kind of indulgence with the launch of The Morrison Ah-fternoon Tea featuring Ah, Wines a limited-edition collaboration with beloved Irish actress and writer, Amy Huberman and her newly launched Ah, Cava Brut Rosé. Choose from an array of carefully curated selection of savoury bites, celebrating the best of Irish ingredients. Delicacies include Wrights’ smoked salmon with crème fraiche and pickled cucumber on rich Guinness bread, alongside Manor Farm free-range roasted chicken paired with rocket, basil pesto and tomato on sourdough. A vegetarian delight comes in the form of St Tola goats cheese and sweet potato falafel, finished with apricot marmalade in a fluffy brioche bun. Rounding out the savouries is O’Neill’s off-the-bone ham, served with a celeriac and mustard slaw on Bretzel’s granary bread. To follow, guests will indulge their sweet tooth with an elegant array of desserts. Highlights include an Ard Cairn Russet Apple and gin mousse, a decadent dark chocolate nemesis, and a light, fruity strawberry and raspberry torte. A classic opéra gâteau offers rich coffee and almond notes, while a selection of mini macarons adds a delicate finish to this indulgent experience. The Morrison Ah-fternoon Tea is available for €49 per person with a glass of Ah, Cava Brut Rosé , or €42 per person with tea or coffee. Guests can also choose to pair their afternoon tea with an Ah, Strawberry Spritz Cocktail for €54 per person, a refreshing creation inspired by Amy Huberman’s signature sparkling wine.

We know our regular guests love to come in to the Morrison all to relax, people watch and catch up with good friends, while soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the Fancy Pants Afternoon Tea in our luxurious setting overlooking the River Liffey. Served daily at the Morrison Grill from 12pm to 6pm. from the 15th March: €42.00 with tea & coffee. €49.00 with prosecco. €59.00 with a glass of Moet Champagne

Our Gentlemen’s Afternoon Tea offers a twist on the traditional afternoon tea swapping finger sandwiches for delicious items such as steak sandwiches, beef sliders, smoked rasher scones and whiskey chocolate truffles that can be washed down with a refreshing bottle of Hope beer priced at €37 per person. It’s definitely not just for gentlemen either - we believe it will also appeal to ladies looking for an alternative to the traditional afternoon tea. Served daily at the Morrison Grill from 12pm to 6pm.

the gentleman’s tea was spectacular and fairly priced, better than we expected, the meat tender, the sausage delicious, at first we thought it was small but we were stuffed at the end would have preferred the dessert separated from the hot meals the staff were attentive and friendly, it was quiet with only a few tables occupied so no atmosphere but it may have been the time we went and it’s a hotel, it was worth going and would go again

We really enjoyed our time at the Grill. Excellent food, drink and service at very reasonable cost. I have to say that when we first entered, we got the impression by the modern look that prices would be higher but pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.

I took the vegan afternoon tea, i loved it the scones were amazing along with the jam and the rest of the pastry and sandwiches. The service was great, kind, professional y attentive. My only, but it will be on the site. The price is 42 euros, and they add 10% extra for service. We were two ppl i didn´t feel it was applicable, so it would be fair to inform on the site that the price is 46 EUR for any afternoon tea without alcoholic drinks

The menu is diverse with a nice range of different things to suit all tastes. The food was well presented and tasted great across all three dishes. Staff were polite, welcoming and friendly. Recommended for a tasty lunch
