   No better place in DC for handcrafted cocktails served by Incredible staff. Accidentally left my phone and when I returned for it, they had it plugged into a charger. Love this place!

   We didn’t have a meal but had some amazing drinks! Rita took care of us from start to finish. She gave suggestions and even made drinks for us off menu to try. I was thoroughly pleased with the space, music and atmosphere. I stayed for several hours laughing and feeling comfortable. I can’t wait to go back!

    I love Morris — friendly service with craft cocktails. You know the bartenders take their craft seriously. I always order something off their specials menu and get a bartenders choice drink. No matter how complicated my request they always produce something unique and memorable.

    The drinks were top notch as always! Rhine and Dan are great! We didn't order food, so take that rating with a grain of salt, there's no way to say "not applicable." I did notice that the flatbread smelled AMAZING, though, so definitely give that a try! 10/10 would recommend.

    Great place to grab drinks before a DC Improv show. The bartender is fantastic, I requested a drink off-menu. I told them I love grapefruit and spicy drinks… and they created a drink just for me. It was delicious. They also don’t skimp on the alcohol. Keep up the great work, Morris American Bar.

    Went for the 1st time and it happened to be my birthday- this bar did not disappoint!! I’ve been wanting to come here for awhile now from following them on social media. Bar tenders were very friendly and great at mixing drinks, taco Tuesday was delicious and the atmosphere was a great spot for HH with friends. Will definitely be back!

    Awful service and drinks were $16! way too expensive. Sat for 25 minutes before I had to get up and ask if we could order for food and drinks. Felt like we were totally forgotten. The tacos were pretty good but not enough to come back again.

    I didn’t realize the bar had such a limited menu. Literally 4-5 items. We ordered the deviled eggs to share, for $10 we basically got two eggs (4 halves). If you’re looking for just drinks then this is a good place to start. Other than that go to dinner first.

    The Morris Bar is great find. It is just a few blocks from my office and has great ambiance and amazing drinks. I gave the food one star because they were unable to serve us any. It seems that COVID-19 continues to cause staffing shortages. As a result, they had to close the kitchen. It is a cute bar with a very curated drink menu. I will definitely return but with the idea that it may be the place for the first drink or a nightcap rather than appetizers. The staff on hand were very friendly!

    Me and my Fiancé always come here to relax and unwind during the week or ending or week/weekend. Always tasty drinks and delicious appetizers omg. Just perfect every single time!

    Very disappointed, ambience is not great and neither are the cocktails. It is the first place that has asked for a credit card when booking on OT. They do not leave you to put the tip on, they add you 20% themselves. That is what I normally tip, but I prefer to put it on, not have the bar stick their hand in my pocket.

    Service seems to be a low bar in DC generally, but $16+ per drink, and being rushed the entire time due to the waiter’s “2 hour” limit when there literally is no one else waiting to come inside is not worth going here. It’s alright, ambiance is great, but that’s all it really has going for it.

    I would prefer a bit more of a selection for snacks/appetizers. The ambiance was great and I was really looking for a pretty drink and what the waiter bought was just filled with ice. I would go back and try again
