   Went for the Friday night live band..singer and musicians were amazing.. Food was good too...place is small tho.

   Being a woman of color it pains me to write a bad review for a black owned restaurant, but this place was horrible. I was out for a low key date night with my hubby and thought we would try a new place. Wrong move. When we walked in we were greeted by the stintch of a sour mop. It took a while for the hostess to come greet us so we stood there looking clueless as a waitress, who did not acknowledge us, walked by heading to the upstairs level. Once we were finally seated, our waitress was not familiar with the menu and could not confirm the amount of wings you get with a combo dinner, but she was very sweet and personable. Her personality was the highlight of the evening because the food was horrible. The cornbread was flavorless and dry. It NEEDED the cinnamon butter that you have to pay extra for. The wings were not crispy and was cooked in old grease - it had the old grease taste and was covered in the black drippings from the old grease. The collard greens were ok. Mac and cheese had no flavor and some pieces of the candy yams were flavorful and other were not. I ordered a Peach Margarita, but received a regular Margarita. It was well made - even though it's not what I ordered. My husband ordered a grey goose with pineapple juice, but received some concoction of soda water, pineapple juice without vodka. Glad we tried it, but we will not be returning.

   The food is delicious but they don’t give you a good amount of meat. We ordered the 3 plate combo it barely fed my husband. I feel if you’re ordering a plate for close to $30.00 there should be more than small tiny portions of meat. The sides are an ok amount. I love the fact that they have entertainment on Saturdays. I would recommend this place for the flavor of the food but if you’re looking for more to eat don’t go.

   The jerk chicken was very good. I had some of my husband bbq ribs and it was delicious but my favorite was the salmon with collard greens and candied yams. Simply delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. Make a effort to go on Thursday nights for their 'Caribbean Summer thursdays' the DJ is on point and keep the crowd grooving to the best reggae music.

   Didn’t honor the reservation so we took our business elsewhere. Went back at another time to dine.

   Food was great. Went with my husband for first time and we enjoyed all the food we couldn’t help but order something to go for later.

   Totally disgusted with the service and the reheated BBQ wings if you reserve a table you might get lucky and get one when you get there horrible service business definitely won't last

    Drinks could be better. They were too strong and not properly mixed. Overall, the food was great.
