A great find! We've dined several times and have NEVER been disappointed.
Booked a table outside as I was with a special guest. No table was provided outside and we had to seat inside where service was very long and overall poor
Great as usual!
Food was very good and service was even better. The waiter did not rush us even though we couldn’t decide what to eat at first because it all sounded so good.
Bartender Will was amazing and attentive; and introduced me to a new Cabernet Sauvignon named No Fine Print”, and the best lava cake I’ve had this far. Will be back for sure!
Il cibo nella norma ma troppo caro per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Il dolce da non prendere sia per L qualità che per L quantità rispetto al prezzo
Service was so bad, first time I was there and I would never go back. Waited to place order, wine and meal. Really disturbing.
Basically paying to sit outside in Rockefeller Center. Everything was very meh, there are much better restaurants in midtown for the same price.
Great outside seating in the shade overlooking Rock Center, excellent wine selection and satisfying small plates
Fabulous outdoor seating in Rockefeller Center - facing the plaza.
Amazing selection of wines by the glass (naturally).
Great people watching!
Morrel Wine Bar is a very good experince based in compreensive wine list with many opcions by glass and their quality.
The service, competent, was not too much friendly
Ring back the onion tart! Best thing on the menu nothing vegetarian left besides eggs and a green salad
Food and menu were good, server was very nice and excellent. They made a good effort expanding their menu, and it’s very good. The noise level however is high.
Great place to have a glass of wine (or more) in a relaxed atmosphere. Weather permitting the outside is very relaxing and comfy
I chose Morrell for its proximity to the Laura Pels theater and because I was looking for somewhere I thought would be reasonably fast and where we could try and share several small plates. Morrell lived up to all those expectations. Luckily, it was a nice evening so we were able to eat outside, which was very pleasant since the restaurant is in the middle of Rockefeller Center and not on a main street. We had a very nice, light meal and excellent wine. The dessert was a little slow to come out - we had to ask for it - otherwise the service was attentive. Not cheap, but I would go back, particularly on a nice evening.
Great food and atmosphere... staff was friendly and attentive, but not overly so
Great spot for a drink or dinner. Top notch service. Food is delicious. One of my favorite spots in New York.
it is a lovely place, that has a very extensive selection of good wines. They have a nice bar menu for happy hour, but this is not a place for vegetarians to go. Unfortunately, all I could find to eat were the deviled eggs. I would definitely go back but only for a drink.
Best wine-by-the-glass list in the city. Food is fine, but go there for the wine, and have a bite to eat while enjoying the fabulous selections. Dave and Will are wonderful wine-geek barkeeps. Highly recommended!
Good food and good service
The acoustics are not conducive to conversation. Not a good place to discuss business.
Always enjoy This place for a business lunch- fresh and tasty. Nice location. Expensive for what it is -
Morrell Wine Bar and Cafe is one of my favorite places to enjoy excellent wines and a wonderful selection of dishes to go with them. The menu is limited in that this is a cafe not a large restaurant, which adds to its charm. The location is perfect, especially in warm weather when you can sit outside and enjoy the beauty and history of Rockefeller Center.
We were treated with utmost attention and service. The wine and meal were excellent. Ambience is great, too. You can actually hear your table-mate and have a conversation.
Great spot for sampling wine with good food!
Maybe the problem was that we were seated upstairs but the service was awful. It felt like a place that didn't expect return customers so they didn't feel the need to provide good service.
Nice but small space snd pricey.
Second time visiting this restaurant. Impressed with the wines and food and elegant ambiance.
Wine is very overpriced. I won’t go back for that reason. I don’t like being ripped off.
Great food, fabulous wines. Perfect New York experience!
Excellent service in accommodating our earlier arrival. Appreciated special service from excellent somolier.
Our usual holiday treat, but this year the food was better than ever!
They took us right at our reservation time. The bar was packed and you had to get thru the bar to get to dining area. Service was awesome. Wine was very good -- but you were paying for very good wine. Had a great time. Noise level a bit loud. But we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Bill for 4 with tip was $325.
My favorite hidden gem that sits in the midst of it all. Incredible hosts and staff. Consistently excellent seasonal dishes.
Great find when visiting Rockefeller Center. Great menu. chartucerie, cheese, and wonderful salads. Several Larger entrees available. My husband loved his Cod and I enjoyed the pea salad. Great selection of wines and the special selections at $7 a glass were an outstanding value.
Excellent experience. Great wine, beautiful plating
Wonderful wine selection by the glass and very tasty dishes.
Very good! Decorated fabulous for the holidays!!!
Outstanding wine list in a great setting! Excellent service and overall a wonderful experience.
This was always our go to place in midtown when in the city. The decor and menu have been totally revamped since we were last there and not for the better.
