Morning Squeeze – Tempe
we had a great time. Great service, great atmosphere, bland food.
It was okay. We waiting forever to order and to get our food. Most of the food that came out was cold. That being said the food was pretty good.
Morning Squeeze was absolutely AMAZING. They were very accommodating to my party as we had two large tables! The atmosphere was welcoming and it was just wonderful. I thank there staff for being so helpful and accommodating in such a high stress situation as my initial party was only 20 people but we kept growing! I will definitely be back!!!!
Nice and delicious
My Boyfriend was a fool and ordered an item off the menu at "Market Price", without asking how much it would be, as there is no price listed on the menu. And while it was delicious, there was no need for us to eat something at $15 when the normal version would have been about $8-9. Next time, both of us will make sure to ask how much a market price actually is.
One of the better breakfasts we've had in a while. Great service, plentiful portions. Not sure the staff was hip to confirming my Open Table reservation, as they couldn't find it to start, then OT contacted me re: missing the reservation. Um, we were there. It was wonderful!
Very professional and happy crew. We enjoyed a pregame breakfast/brunch with family. Everyone loved it.
We had a large group and showed up early for our reservation. They were great about accommodating us. Good food. Great atmosphere.
We went there for our weekly family breakfast and our daughters 21st birthday. The portions were large and our server was sweet. They have my daughter a mimosa on the house to celebrate. It wasn’t busy when we went so it was nice and quiet, I imagine if it was busier, it might be a little louder. We will definitely be back.
Overall, the restaurant was very good. The decor had a hip, mid century feel. I made a reservation on open table because usually on a Sunday morning, there is a 30 minute wait at any restaurants in the area. There was not a wait and there were plenty of tables. I had the avocado toast which I think had a nice lemon flavor, but the avocados were mashed almost like guacamole, so I did not like that as much as them being sliced. I had a coconut milk latte which was definitely a must have, it was nice and smooth. My boyfriend said his breakfast was good, but he just ordered a basic American breakfast.
Great location, great food, highly recommend. Wasn’t planning on getting drinks originally, but I couldn’t pass up on the $3.99 mimosa flight!
The entire experience was just "meh". Full of hungover college kids and hungover staff on the day I went.
Great atmosphere. I mean they have a dog friendly patio! Love. Service was good. Food was not good unfortunately. There was nothing special about my $13 waffle. Bacon was greasy and undercooked. My daughters burrito was bland.
Food was great. Service was okay. I would definitely go back. Everyone in our party enjoyed the Mimosa flight 😊
We went here for Mother's Day, and arrived at approximately 1:00. It was busy, but not over-crowded. We were greeted immediately and were given the choice of inside or outside seating. We chose outside and were seated quickly. Our server, Samantha, was attentive and perky, and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, while also explaining any questions we had. The food was good, but the mimosa flight was spot-on! The outside seating area had good music going, but the volume was a bit overbearing at times while trying to hold a conversation. The area itself was ideal, as there is plenty of walking around to do before or afterward! We will definitely be returning to the Morning Squeeze in the future!
Everything here is fab - from the food to the vibe, the attentive staff to the dog friendly patio. Such a great addition to downtown Tempe!
Brunch with daughters before seeing Wicked at Gammage. Samantha was great!
The restaurant was not that busy when we showed up. Service was prompt. the beverages all came out at the same time and the entrées also came out at the same time and all the food was correct. food was hot and flavorful to our liking. coffees were refilled promptly and our group had a very good time. we will certainly be back.
The squeeze in old town is way better! Very disappointed with the quality of food. We met my in-laws for breakfast on Easter. We chose it because we thought it would be the same as the other one. Not even close! My father-in-law had the hash! It’s came in a child’s plastic bowl ,and the hash looked like the crumbs of corned beef left over from the day before. My husband had the biscuits and gravy. It looked great at first but then noticed the gravy separated and it was very oily over the top. My mother in-law and I had the the avocado toast , and something so easy even looked like lame. No care in quality at all!
Great place, nice patio!
The bacon was cold, the potatoes were bland, there were flies and nats all in the restaurant (we were in the back). The waitress was really nice.
Great breakfast menu. Recommend reservations as it gets busy.
This popular spot has good food,
Inside reminded me of a diner and outside seating is limited
Even with a reservation we had to wait twenty minutes
It is a fun, trendy place, but it was super busy and loude. Because of the crowd, our food was not hot and our waiter barely had time for refills or to check back. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go again.
A very nice open patio for dinning and an open indoor / outdoor counter that created a pleasant eating venue. Service was friendly but on the slow side. Food was good. Would return.
This is the first time I have been to morning squeeze in Tempe. I was impressed with the size of the establishment because the one in Scottsdale is very small and cannot accommodate many patrons. The only comment that I would share is that the restrooms are not nearly as nice as the morning squeeze in Scottsdale. That would be the only improvement suggestion I would have.
I got sick after eating there so not the best experience
The food took a really long time and the server seemed stressed.
Good food, good service, friendly staff making it an excellent experience.
I do not know where to begin. I arrived on time with an OpenTable reservation and they told me they had given my table away to another person because they arrived before we did, making us wait an additional twenty minutes. We sat down and it wasn’t until another 25 minutes a server came. Little did I know the server was the manager, who was absolutely terrible! I asked her if they had a kids menu, she said yes, let us get it for you, instead of giving us water or a menu to look at it. Twenty minutes later, she shows up with the menus, and forgets the kids menu. More than an hour has gone by mind you. She takes our orders, and then I hear from a staff member 15 minutes later there was an emergency in the kitchen and she had to go, and our orders never were put in. At this point, I couldn’t hold my voice any longer, and expressed my frustration and this was unacceptable. They blamed it on being super busy, I tell them it’s Sunday brunch, it’s always busy, and they agreed to discount our order. The food comes out, things are missing, things are undercooked as they clearly were rushing to get our order in. A table of five sat after us and finished before us while we were still finishing our meal. I would not recommend this place at all as the staff are clearly inexperienced to run a restaurant, and due to their inexperience it affected the quality of the food.
Service was very slow. Took forever to get our food.
Great, fresh food! Mimosa flight is outstanding. Open and airy restaurant.
We loved the large menu. I ordered the build your own breakfast sandwich which came with potatoes and the most beautiful bowl of fresh berries!
