Foos was good. Service was ok. Waitress only recommended priciest items on the menu. We were a party of 6 and gratuity was automatically included which she neglected to mention.
Good food, good service
The entire staff treated us very nicely. They even gave my partner and I and anniversary card, which I thought was very special. Loved the food and cocktails.
Another wonderful meal here. Love our waitstaff and food came as it was hot. Maybe a little too fast. But we didn’t complain. The buri bop is a favorite and the filet was amazing. Good quality sushi. But not very innovative like Tokyo with the nigiri. Our go to place at Disney though. Will go again later this week
Awesome food and excellent service , we were seated promptly at our reservation time , food was to the point and excellent , our server made excellent recommendations and the value for food was excellent . Will definitely visit again.
You MUST try the ribs! I’m still thinking about them.
We had a 9:45 reservation. The inside is beautiful, love the atmosphere. We’ve eaten here at least 10 times, but always lunch sonwanted to try dinner for once. We order our drinks, a few minutes later waitress came back and said they were waiting on the drinks, and she’d take our order, a couple meals and 3 appetizers. Before our drinks arrive our first meal arrives, so no drinks or appetizers. We’re sharing so we complained and just ate. Our second meal came out about 5 mins later, and about another 5 mins after that our appetizers came out. While we’re eating sharing everything, waitress came over and asked are we done with part of our meal, I told her probably but we’re gonna box it all up together when we’re done. I go back to eating and she snatched up the plate, and boxed it. We were completely rushed (less than 30 mins for an expensive meal) and felt pressure to leave although they were supposed to be open until midnight. The manager did make things right in the end, but still wasn’t happy that a romantic rare date night was ruined. Service has always been great there, and yes we do understand having gone there that their cooking style and times are strange, appetizers have always come out as appetizers, and then meals will come staggered because they come from different kitchens and they don’t hold them they bring them out when they are done. I’ll probably give them another chance, hopefully it was just a bad night.
My family and I were there for a family dinner and everything went well. Good service good food.
great food! great service! the atmosphere was beautiful. we are picky eaters and still loved everything about this restaurant! 5 stars!
Food tasted ok but for the price it should be cheaper. Held that restaurant to a higher standard. The building was beautiful outside and side and very clean.
Food is consistently great - and helps make up for spotty service. From the hostess stand to delivery of the final check the service is inconsistent and at times quite lacking. Have eaten at this restaurant many times and have had visits with great service, but far from every time. Hostess stand is usually poor and the initial table service slow. But once the food comes it’s easy to forget the bad service. Not this time.
I've now been to Morimoto 5 times, the menu hasn't changed. The vegan options are very limited, which is a shame because all throughout Disney there are so many options. I did let the server Jimmy know that I am vegan and he said I'll be right back to let you know what you can have... First off, vegetables are the easiest thing to create vegan and when I asked about the Kung Pao Cauliflower he did let me know that the dish can be made vegan then proceeded to repeat "I'll let you know what you can have"... I still ended up ordering the Kung Pao Cauliflower, I do not think it was worth the $14 dollars as it didn't even come with rice... Overall flavor, very delicious.
Food and service here are second to none. There are SO many tempting choices that one visit will never be enough.
Food quality not great for the cost.
We love this place! Some of the best sushi we've ever had. We will be back!
Steven, our server, was impeccable and the food never disappoints. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
We enjoyed the atmosphere, however the prices were extremely high for the quality of food. Everything was just average in taste. For the price the quality and taste of the food should be better.
Great service and wonderful food. The ribs are a must do and the sushi is amazing.
We had a wonderful dinner! Kids loved the sushi. Having a reservation really made it nice!
Waiter only cared about bigger tables and only checked on us once or twice throughout the meal. Wasn’t very friendly but was very friendly with the bigger tables. The food runners who delivered our food were of more help. We ordered a roll and it was subpar but our entrees were excellent. Our server wasn’t of much help and when I had finished my cocktail she took it away and didn’t even ask if I wanted another one.
We have been to Morimoto Asia 3-4 times over the past few years when we have visited Orlando. It never disappoints. Atmosphere is fun and bustling. The quality of the food is always excellent and the staff is attentive. Lots of menu options as well. You have to try the rib appetizer!!
Good food and atmosphere. Our table had to be slightly adjusted since it was lopsided, otherwise the service was good. We had enough food to share which kept our bill reasonable. Only complaint was the brief time at the bar waiting to be seated. If you want a glass of ice with a splash of margarita then that is the bar for you.
The appetizers of ribs and the dumplings were very good.
The ramen bowls were very tasty.
Disappointed in the sushi roll.
The other entrees arrived way before the sushi roll.
The tuna was not trimmed very well. It had chewy parts still in the fish,
I would not recommend sushi at this restaurant.
The other entrees were very good.
The service was go.d
The server was very slow and not attentive. We got some other tables food twice. Then we had a 15 min gap between my entree and the rest of my family. Asked to bring it back to warm it up. Took forever to get the food after that. Not a good experience with the server. We had to find another person to get us silverware and plates since the server was MIA when our appetizers. Would not recommend for a business lunch or formal dining.
Food was great, specially the short ribs (TO DIE FOR), the sushi was mediocre at best. Service was outstanding: Johnny was our server. Overall excellent place.
We enjoyed this restaurant a lot. We would highly recommend it.
I would recommend the Orlando location, I would not recommend the Las Vegas location. I have now come twice to the Orlando location and had a fantastic experience. I went to the Las Vegas location and sat at the sushi bar. I started with Nigiri. The taste and quality were not up to the same standard as the Orlando location. I also have to say, the smell of fish, as the sink was on the same side as where they were preparing the sushi, the smell was so strong that I actually paid my bill and left before I finished my meal. I am glad I came back to the Orlando location because I love Morimoto's vision and food.
Fabulous & a real treat to meet chef Morimoto. Service Superior
The prices were a bit high and the drinks to small!
The food was incredible but the service was not. Not horrible but we shouldn’t need to ask for things repeatedly. But then I met Morimoto so the experience was top notch!!
Great customer service and very delicious foods, great presentation also
I really like the food in Morimoto Asia. With the Disney dining plan I think we got to taste of the best Peking duck I've tried in the US. However, I hope they can provide us wider seat since we carry bags and bags, and it was not crowded in the restaurant at the time we arrived. Besides, I had a reservation with them so I was hoping to get a nicer sitting table.
I still recommend this restaurant for the food.
Food was delicious with the right portions. Ambiance was excellent for my birthday. Not expected to wait even if we reserved for a specific time. Definitely a place to return to!
Morimoto was recommended by a friend and it loved up to expectations. The food was great and the ambience was pleasing.
Food consistently great. Excellent cocktails. Wonderful and friendly service. Pricey.
Best food experience in a decade. Peking Duck and the spareribs are best ever. Incredible experience.
Experience was great again! A small hiccup that was fixed and made whole by management, Thank You!
I found the entire dining experience underwhelming. The dish that won the competition lacked flavor, was visually boring and was very small. Something prepared table suffer I would expect to have something special about is preparation. You should pass on this dish. The rest of our meal was good, but not exceptional. With an ambiance as nice as this restaurant, the food should be better.
Waitress barely gave us attention. Asked three times for plates to eat. Took 15 min to even acknowledge we were seated. It’s always like this but getting worse.
Ramen was good, needed little more soy (seasoning). Portobello tempuras were well executed, paper steak was also good, rolls were ok. Sushi/nigiri rice was sticky and not that great. White fish on nigiris were good, nothing special about the tuna. Orange, chocolate ganache dessert was very well.
Photographer was a nice touch for special occasion. Restaurant is beautifully done inside. Service was attentive, nice welcome at the door.
