Awesome food and beer and an overall great experience!
My husband and I tried out Morgantown Brewing Company after reading several favorable reviews. We initially thought the food was pretty good until we became sick later on that evening and into the following day. We both had the pepperoni rolls and brussel sprout macaroni and cheese so I'm guessing it was one of those items. Kind of put a damper on our anniversary weekend. The service is great so maybe they were having an off night.
Food was good, but long wait for our appetizers and later on, our meals.
We had a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic and very unique actually! A real change from the normal / boring dining experience! Our waitress was sweet and attentive! Will definitely be back.
Reservation was for 9 pm because that was the only option available for the evening after the parade. We arrived (party of 9) at 8 pm and continued checking in with the hostess because there was ample seating available. Finally at 8:45 we were told that we wouldn't be seated until 9 because the kitchen was backed up and they wanted to get it cleared before taking our order. Once seated we waited over 15 minutes before Eliza (sp?) showed up. She took our orders and while waiting on our food for over an hour, we had to go to the bar ourselves for refills of our adult beverages. When she did show back up she acted surprised that we had went for refills and wasn't really concerned about getting others refills for their waters or teas. We actually had to ask for the refills. I guess the empty glasses wasn't obvious enough to warrant a refill. BTW...all the ice had melted in everyones drinks...indication of how long it had been since we were seated (the hostess got our waters, thank God ) and without refills from our waitress. We have had dinner at MBC after the parade for the last few homecomings. Last year one person of our party of 17 didn't even get there food. Our waitress was on top of it though and made it right. Much better experience compared to this year. Food was not cooked well. Just an overall bad experience and unfortunately, my group has decided to go elsewhere next homecoming.
Food was ok, waiter did what she could but her section was scattered all over. Need someone to help the front end people understand groupings.
It was a busy Friday night. Service was slow. Beer not very cold had to ask for a cup of ice. Food was not served very hot. The spinach and artichoke dip was very good. The pita chips with the buffalo chicken dip where amazing. The prices were very reasonable.
Love Morgantown Brewing Co! Service is great, the food is delicious, and they always have great drinks to choose from. A great local hangout spot!
Food was good but service was slow. Can’t wait 15 minutes for four beers. It was a Saturday but still no excuse. Will try it one more time.
Felt/sensed a musty/moldy feel that seemed to after my entire party. The tacos I ordered while very tasty were a bit too spicy hot and hard to digest.
Mom came in from the state of California so had to take her out. I heard great things about this place so had to take her there!
Food was great (get the hummus it is huge and tastes great), beer was very good (Kolsh and Blonde ale were our top picks), people were friendly, service was quick, but sweet Jebus was it hot in there. We cut our meal short and ate the rest in the car because we couldn't handle it. We would absolutely go again if we are in Morgantown on a cooler day.
Food was good. Beer was great! We will be going back next time we are in town.
My husband enjoyed each of the beers he tried. Our food was very good and we had a pleasant visit.
Pre Deckers Creek Half: Enjoyed an evening on the deck with my sister. Lovely weather, food, and tasty brews!
