Morgan's Brooklyn Barbecue - King of Prussia
Mac & Cheese
Candied Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle, Morgan's Sauce
Service was excellent but menu was confusing. Food was very mediocre and priced very high for what it was.
We found this place by accident. The food (pulled pork sandwich) was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. It’s casual so it makes it easy, definitely would recommend.
We did not like the format of the menu where you buy by the pound. They did have a few platters where you got a complete meal. I had ribs & they were exceptional! There was only one server, one bartender & a possible manager. They were all very friendly & did their very best to provide good service.
Outstanding service and generous portions
It wasn’t a bad bad place The decor was nice Our waiter was ok Know he was busy He did ok for the most part Food was good with some other items The check afterwards was overwhelming. For just being Bbq. May come back a second time Just I know what is good and isn’t. Would recommend to someone Just don’t order so much It all adds up quickly.
Great bbq spot. Def order candy bacon. Service very good
Haven’t had falling off the bone ribs in a while n they were delicious, tender n nice n moist. I don’t eat collard greens with vinegar but tasted my husbands n was shocked they were awesome n can’t say enough about the Mac n cheese. W had a great time n truly enjoyed the food. Highly recommend
Everything was excellent except they should have some blues playing instead of dance pop music!
Second time eating here and the food is great. Also, the whiskey offerings are diverse and really good.
My husband is an amazing cook and BBQ'er, and he is VERY critical when it comes to BBQ. He LOVED this place. I went for the mac and cheese. It was amazing. So was the brisket steak sandwich. We will definitely be back again. And again. And again...
The food was good but not great. Everything was a la carte. It was certainly not worth the price we paid.
Great location for delicious BBQ date with hubby on a Saturday afternoon!
I wanted to love it however it has nothing to do with true barbecue and the food is average at best, far too overpriced considering the caliber.
You can get the same quality food; if not better food for less than half the price down the road at mission bbq. Everything was overpriced and underwhelming. Even the cocktails were disappointing. They are definitely taking advantage of their location by charging a premium without delivering on quality; style over substance.
Great experience! It was our first time dining. We were seated immediately and our server checked in shortly after. We did not have to wait for our orders and the food was delicious. Our server Cotton was so friendly his energy matched the vibe. Our experience couldn’t have been better! We’ll be back!
The BBQ was really good, as was the selection of whiskeys to compliment the food.
Ribs were tiny but tasty
Mac was fine
Went there for a bachelor's dinner. Great for, big portions for what you order. Very much backyard's cookout food, immaculate meats and cooked to perfection
Service was great!!
The food was delicious! The max and cheese is best fresh. Not as good when I reheated it the next day. Cornbread, wedge salad, and fried chicken, and key lime pie were AMAZING! We sat outside and people watched. The tables are picnic tables and can’t really be sanitized or wiped off. It was three of us and we ordered food for 6! The prices seemed a little high but other than that, I can’t complain. I will definitely dine there again…or get take out. Lol.
The food was uniformly awful except for the bacon and corn bread appetizers. We ordered a lot of selections: brisket (dry), pork belly (inedible zero taste hunks of burnt fat), Mexican corn (corn was devoid of taste and too much cheese on top didn’t help). We save our real horror for the Mac and cheese. Below a layer of promising looking crisp melted cheese was a mushy zero flavor pile of sticky elbow macaroni without even a hint of butter, salt, cheese or cream. It tasted like macaroni was poured into the pain in its unsalted cooking water then covered in cheddar and baked. This describes both orders. Even my kid who loves the powdered box stuff thought this Mac and cheese was gross. An abomination. Not going back.
Good for BBQ, but pricey. The mac and cheese skillets were awesome and the drinks were delish.
Our server Cotton was amazing! He helped make our time there wonderful!
The restaurant itself was beautiful. What we ordered tasted amazing. The service was ok, but I think our server was new. I will definitely go back.
Food was good. Service was very slow. Would give them another try for the right occasion but didn’t leave feeling like I must return in the future.
Great food, drinks and music!
The service, food, and atmosphere was excellent!
I definitely plan on returning!
Food was delicious. The Ginormous rib and fried chicken were outstanding.
Came to celebrate my birthday with my friend. Our server was great (young black girl with fabulous nails and sparkly mask) the food was unseasoned and my burger was burnt. The fries were good and my Shirley temple was sub par. Overall I could’ve had a better meal at Friday’s or Applebee’s.. don’t think I will be back. Overrated and overpriced.
It was our first visit on a summer Saturday night. The restaurant is very casual and was not crowded. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. Our server (Vee?) was very helpful win terms of answering questions and offering suggestions. The cornbread, pulled pork and brisket were good, but only 2 sauces are offered. The basic old school mac & cheese was nothing special. We felt it needed sharper cheese. The collard greens lacked flavor.
Food was excellent!
Great food. Great location.
First of all we have no complaints about the service. Our server was nice, patient, and understanding. We ordered many items because we were excited to try and new BBQ place in the area and were extremely disappointed. Just about everything lacked seasoning. Especially the $37 shortib which also needed to be cooked longer. The smoked bacon mac and cheese was also a huge disappointment as it tasted like nothing but boiled noodles. The brisket could have been cooked longer as well as the collard greens. And the beans were disappointing. I hope they take time to reevaluate their seasonings because this place has a lot of potential.
Excellent selection of perfectly cooked meats. Plenty of interesting side dishes, drink selections, desserts. Service people were terrific.
The team working at Morgan's Brooklyn Barbecue is amazing! Not only are they kind and helpful - they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The environment is spacious and unpretentious.
The food is absolutely delicious, with more than generous portions. And the spicy barbecue sauce is off the charts delicious - filled with flavor and heat without unnecessary sweetness. I also highly recommend the collard greens, which are cooked to perfection every single time. Don't even get me started on the macaroni and cheese and the bacon appetizer!
I am already repeat customer and look forward to additional, wonderful meals at Morgan's!
Great BBQ restaurant at the KOP mall! Food is delicious - staff are friendly
Very good food and great service
The brisket and ribs were fair at best, but the pulled pork was filled with fat and gristle. We would have faired better at Mission BBQ.
only disappointment was the lack of outdoor dining.
Love that place alittle expensive for a family dinner but we’ll worth it.
