Morgan Creek Grill Ratings and Reviews
We haven't been to Morgan Creek in almost two years. We came to the Isle of Palms to celebrate our 10th Wedding anniversary and decided to revisit Morgan Creek. We were so pleased with our service and the food was beyond our expectations. Their chef did a fabulous job on the pork chop and collard greens, a beautiful southern staple. Our server was wonderful and provided us with desert to celebrate our special night.
Spent a week in Isle of Palms with family and tried Morgan Street on our last night. Service and ambience were great with a nice extensive low country menu. Mahi mahi was outstanding. Highly recommend ordering an assortment of deserts to share. Can’t wait to visit again!
Unfortunately, this most recent visit to Morgan Creek Grill was less than satisfying. Had to navigate the rowdy crowd at the oyster bake in front of the restaurant in order to even get inside. The dining room, which used to be great for quiet, casual dining was tremendously loud. No chance for conversation with friends. Food was bland and mediocre. A disappointment after other good experiences there in the past.
Food was good. Server was excellent. Unfortunately, hostess was rude and made for an unpleasant evening. Very nasty. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, she ignored our seating requests and was just...well, nasty! Certainly won't take out-of-town guests there again.
Birthday celebration brought the 6 of us to IOP. Great location at the marina and the view over the Intercostal Waterway guarantees a fun afternoon or evening.. lively and beach-like atmosphere outside in the sand, more standard dining on the mail level and a fun place up stairs with open windows and a killer view.
With quarterly visits to the area, Morgan Creek is close by and a visit usually sometime during the week. The marina, inner coastal waterway view is hard to beat. The food is usually very good. This visit was marred by a bad waiter experience, which we mentioned to management.
Great Service, great food and the perfect backdrop of scenery! Morgan's Creek Grill was a fantastic place for us to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. The upstairs bar was a perfect spot to continue our celebration after dinner. We will def. be back and next time to take the kids and Grandma.
I have not been to the restaurant in over a year. Previously the food was more casual with mostly fried seafood dishes. The food on our recent visit was delicious and beautifully presented! The view as beautiful as ever and the service was excellent! Morgan's Creek is back on my list of favorites!
Great views from all tables. Popular brunch spot. Pretty good shrimp and grits. Eggs benedict on nice crab cakes would have been better with runny yolks and more hollandaise sauce. The waiter never checked back to ask about the food. I didn't feel like makng a fuss by sending back the dish for properly cooked eggs. Was packed so others seemed happy with their food.
