My friend and I made reservations here for restaurant week. The food was amazing and worth the price. The drinks so much. Nothing wrong with them they just weren't our cup of tea.
horrible rushed service and mediocre food for restaurant week. will not be returning
Very underwhelming. I ordered the linguini pescatore and it was loaded with pasta and very light on the seafood. Won’t return.
The octopus, mussels and lamb lollipops at Morea Philly were absolutely delicious. I’d definitely recommend
It nice surprise.. food was great. We had outside seating.
The food and service we're excellent. Our server Larissa was awesome!
Angelina was amazing! The best waitress I ever had!
Came here last night during restaurant week to try this place out. The music and lighting were great. The cocktails were amazingly delicious. I ordered the rosada and my husband had the rhu tang sour. Our waitress messed up our drinks and brought back two of the same drink but quickly fixed the issue when we got her attention. The food however is nothing to brag about. The mussels were good. The braised short rib tasted like pot roast. The asparagus were fine. The mashed potatoes were somewhat dry but tasted good and the gravy that came with the short rib saved them. I compared it to wedding food and my husband agreed and even said that I make better short ribs. And the mistake on drinks that the waitress made was charged on our bill so we paid for her mixup. Not sure if we'll be returning and it's a shame because we both work at Jefferson and are known as foodies and people are waiting for us to tell them about our experience at morea. If I ever do return it'll be to sit at the bar and enjoy some more amazing cocktails before a nearby event.
always good food and good times
The best meal ever! This is definitely one of my new favorites.
Food was amazing, staff was friendly
We had a WONDERFUL experience, The Service was Great and the Food was AMAZING…. I will definitely be back again.
Service was great.
Music a bit to loud.
Food was good can use just a tad more seasoning ,especially the mussels.
Waitress Eliza was great and the Manager as well.
Unusual menu with sufficient choices Both entrees were deliciously prepared and great presentation.
It was a very nice experience. The server was friendly, helpful, and outgoing. The food was delicious and as an added bonus, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, some of their beers, wines, and drinks were about half price so quite a deal!
Friendly server. Quick service. Outdoor dining. Love the fries!
Went for brunch with family. No problems with seating - there is limited outside seating but we chose inside to stay out of the summer sun. Liked the variety of items from breakfast through lunch items. The seafood Caesar salad was well balanced with an abundant amount of fresh seafood and the appropriate amount of dressing. Two of the party tried the skakshuka and found it delicious. Turkey and bacon panini was a bit spicy so you may want to ask for the peppadew on the side. Definitely on my return list when I am in the area again.
Nice, mello ambiance. Jeremy, the bartender/waiter was very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious. The restaurant serves small plates for the most part so be prepared to order a la crate for a good fill. The drinks are also good!
I want wanted to give a 4.5 stars but I could only do 4. I went for brunch. The only thing that I would suggest to the restaurant is to make make sure the food is hotter when brought out. That's it! Everything thing else was outstanding. Our server Jeremy was on point!
Great food and experience
The cocktails were soooo good! The menu had a lot of great dishes and everyone in our party really enjoyed their meals. The music was fun and we couldn’t help dancing in our seats. Definitely will revisit this spot!
It was nice, bartenders were friendly. Food was good, a little pricey but we enjoyed it. Drinks were super nice and eye catching.
Slightly expensive cocktails for a happy hour but good and very strong
Had A Great Time We’ll Definitely Be Back. Great Food & Atmosphere
Drinks, food and service the night we went was superb.
Short Rib, Seafood Caesar, & coconut curry mussels. All very good. Had to ask for more bread for dipping in mussels broth. Both the Caesar and the short rib could have had more sauce dripped.
Wine pour is probably measured- we asked for doubles! Great music- staff was very friendly. Music could have been lowered a little bit. All in all glad we tried this out.
The owner owns wrap shack next door so FYI as that’s how it rings up on your bill.
Great food and great vibe! The service is amazing! One of my favorites in the city
Lamb was hardly seasoned and raw
Great food! Great service! Would recommend!
Got there very late but had reservation. Warmly greeted. Only table sitting. Waitress was fairly new but very friendly and attentive. Staff was informative and helpful. Food was prepared properly and was served with no issues. The prices were very reasonable. Probably would have gotten another half star if there was more activity to enhance the experience. Definitely recommend
Nice place, food was great! The ambiance was amazing and so was our server !
Great vibes! Amazing service! Yummy drinks! One caveat would be to add a few appetizers for shareables at the table 😊
Our server was outstanding. She was kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious and really enjoyable!
Unfortunately one of the managers (older white gentleman with a belly) seemed to be lurking around but ignoring guests until two tables full of white clients were seated. At which point the manager seemed to swing into action talking with the white guests and even bringing candles over to their table and ignoring our table and another table where all guests were people of color.
Hopefully the owners will do a better job of hiring managers that will treat all clientele well and not just the white ones.
Sat outside and the table was in direct sunlight so that sucked but wasn’t anyone’s fault. We were also the only table to the one side so I think we were oft forgotten about. Chicken and waffles were delicious. Chocolate chunk pancakes were divine. Shakshuka wasn’t really Shakshuka but it was also very good. The bread was thin which made dipping and mixing difficult. The glasses of everything- water, iced coffee- are super small so it requires that staff constantly return for refills which is frustrating. Overall it was nice. The inside looked really nice too and would go back to try that out.
Great cocktail bar spot. Great happy hour too
Short ribs were excellent, steak and side lacked seasoning and flavor. Drinks were tasty and strong.
Cool and fun vibe, great background music. Loved the cocktail menu and this place is perfect for couples or groups where you can share so many different appetizers and small plates. Can't wait to go back!
We visited yesterday for lunch for our anniversary. Great find! The service and food were really good. I also ordered an old fashioned and it was amazing. I mean really a top-notch cocktail. I love the atmosphere at Morea, too. I'm so glad we found this place. I have one small recommendation - we ordered the brussel sprout appetizer, which was very good but would have been brought to another level with just a little finishing salt. Other than that, all around super visit and we can't wait to come again!
Great place to stumble upon for brunch !
Food & drinks were great. Garland, the bartender was awesome! Will definitely visit again!
