The brunch was spectacular! Affordable, and delicious for a quick get-together with friends!
The staff was friendly and quick across the board and the interior was nice but approachable. Make sure to get there quick to snatch up the comfy couch and try the mimosa flight and their chicken dishes.
The cocktail menu was great. Lots of variety. And the small plate dishes were delicious.
I overall loved this place, the drinks was phenomenal!!! The food wasn’t bad could have been hotter and the wings could have been cooked longer. It’s worth a trip backkkkkk!!!
Amazing! amazing ambiance, wonderful music great vibe
Great food, decor and service. Recommend!
Service was excellent - the hostess accommodated seating us promptly even though we were half an hour early for our reservation. Bartender (Garland) makes an incredible martini! We sat on the couches near the back, which made for an intimate dining experience. The food was excellent. My partner had the seafood caesar salad and said the shrimp was so fresh. I had the ahi tuna, which was presented beautifully and was also super fresh. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and able to accommodate modifications to our orders. Superb dining experience overall!
We had a fun dinner at Morea; our server was excellent and the food was good. We ordered the lobster and crab bisque which was totally amazing! The texture and taste were out of this world. The mussels were good, but there were a lot which did not open and so were not eaten. The chili shrimp were really tasty and spicy. The bar is beautiful and colorful; the dining area needs a little more pizazz to match the bar. All in all a good meal and we would recommend.
We absolutely loved this place. The food was unbelievable. The service was excellent. We particularly loved the lamb chop lollipops. The drinks were out of this world. Special shout out to the owner Scott who has surrounded himself with quality hosts and servers. This restaurant would hold its own against any highly ranked gourmet restaurant anywhere.
After walking midtown and not being able to get a table for over an hour we found Morea. Bartender was great, food was exactly what we wanted, and the drinks were phenomenal. 10/10!
Food and drinks were good! Great time hanging out with friends!
Brunch was amazing! A+ service.
Service was excellent, our server was pleasant and attentive. Food was good quality and filling and atmosphere was nice.
Restaurant was a little too cramped for me. I was excited about the menu options but the taste of the food was just ok. We loved the lobster bisque, mussels, and desserts. We were expecting more as far as taste with the entrees. Good music, cool ambiance.
Unbelievable meal and great service
The Drinks were awesome and the food delicious, definitely will be back
Morea was the perfect choice for date night. We came for the restaurant week offerings and will definitely be back again. The wife and I had the blood orange mule and mojito. Both were tasty and strong. We ordered the pear and fig Flatbread (our favorite dish), lobster and crab bisque, herb roasted chicken, braised short ribs and chocolate cake. Though the entree was lacking a pinch of salt everything was delicious.
Went for restaurant week and was surprised at how wonderful this place was! Food was phenomenal and can’t wait to go back! Service was great, it’s cute inside... and drinks were lovely!
Was restaurant week - tried a new place - was good! Not outstanding but good!
The food was amazing! We kind of felt like our server was rushing us out at bit though, and we were not at the end of the allotted 90 minutes for our reservation. The drinks were good but maybe a little too pricey. Ambiance and inside decor were nice as well.
Had a great meal. Food was excellent, definitely recommend the lobster and crab bisque as well as the braised short rib. Was not a big fan of the drinks, had a mojito and an aperol spritz and it just wasn’t that great. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, would dine here again.
We went to celebrate a birthday. Although service started slow it was redeemed by excellent customer service from the owner. Pleasant, attentive and willing to fix any issue we had. Food was good especially the avocado toast and the mimosa flute!!! Definitely worth trying. Cute location with nice furniture offered a great ambiance
Very enjoyable night out. Food was good, atmosphere was good!
Overall good experience, nice restaurant. It’s restaurant week so we were expecting cheaper bill but no it was kinda price for 2 people. Lobster bisque is excellent! Drinks were strong (never a bad thing!)
The owners Scott and Sherri we're very friendly. They attended to your every need. I appreciate their kindness. The staff was excellent. The ambiance was magical. A hidden gem. A new place to call home. Food, service, staff, drinks A+++++++.
I love the short rib entree, the lobster roll was loaded, the lobster bisque is a lil spicy but I devoured it. The drinks are super tasty. I have been here twice & ordered a delivery. Never been disappointed
A friend and I tried More for Restaurant Week. It was simply ok. The hostess was young, in looks and attitude. She could work on being a bit more friendly and welcoming. The waitress took a while before I was greeted at the table. I was waiting for my friend, who was very late due to traffic, however, an opportunity was missed to engage me a bit while I waited. The food was below average: I had to request more broth for my mussels, my potatoes were bland and cold, the short rib portion was meager and desperately needed salt. The drinks were beautiful though, but heavy handed on the ice. We agreed we probably won't return to Morea.
We loved Morea. They honored our reservation and promptly offered drinks. It was Restaurant Week, but we opted for the reg menu. Everything we ate was prepared perfectly, but the Brussels Sprouts were the best ever!!!
We can’t wait to go back soon!!
Great food.(Wings and shrimp roll are a must) Great atmosphere whether you sit inside or out. We be back for dinner really soon!!
The food was so amazing! Can’t wait to go back to try the grilled lamb chops.
Now that folx are fully vaccinated, we're starting to venture beyond take out and appreciated the opportunity to try the relatively new Morea during Restaurant Week (Spring 2021).
1st course: The Lobster & Crab Bisque was rich and satisfying and the baguette served both with the Lobster & Crab Bisque and the Braised Mussels was perfectly toasted. Would've appreciated a bit more broth in the Braised Mussels to keep the mussels moist (and for dipping the baguette into), but the dish was a tasty appetizer.
2nd course: One in our party wished the linguini in the Shrimp Scampi was more al dente, but both who ordered it generally enjoyed, and the Braised Short Rib was tender and a good portion. The garlic truffle mashed potato served with the Braised Short Rib was well-seasoned, though slightly dry--thankfully the Braised Short Rib was so moist that the dish pulled together.
3rd course: We all went with the Strawberry Cheesecake, which was perfectly adequate, except it did not have a crust. A favorite part of any cheesecake experience is a buttery graham-cracker crust!
Drinks: All the specialty cocktails our party tried were delightful (and so pretty!).
Service: Attentive, friendly, willing to help with recommendations, and COVID-compliant.
Location: A bit noisy on 11th Street across from Jefferson Hospital, though not from ambulances, simply double-lane street traffic and plenty of pedestrians. Good people watching.
We had a reservation to sit inside but it was a beautiful night so they were able to accommodate us for outdoor seating! The drinks were so delicious and so was the food. The restaurant menu had a great variety.
Gave me like 7 sets of silverware and napkins without clearing them. And a dirty glass for water.. ther server was a bit off otherwise it was top notch!!
The lobster bisque was outstanding. Served with a toasted baguette for dipping. The shrimp in the scampi was cooked perfectly. The noodles still had a bite. The red peppers simply added to the flavor. Of course cheesecake was yummy with fresh strawberries. I had a draught Mojita and it was just like freshly made.
Ehh. Not the best experience. Server was ok. Definitely won’t be back.
Went for restaurant week and really enjoyed ourselves. Will go again.
They don’t have napkins, straws, or blue cheese but the food is okay.
The food was very average, looked nothing the pictures online and we were not satisfied what so ever!
Good atmosphere. Great cocktails. Very light yet filling entrees.
