Love this restaurant! Charming, attentive waiter, wonderful food... a neighborhood gem. The pizza, the salads, the pastas... all delicious...
Food and service was great. I definitely will go back!
Our server, Eugene, referred to Mora as a hidden gem, and nothing could be closer to the truth. Set far enough away from Ventura Boulevard, traffic noise was minimal from the lovely outdoor dining area. They have a terrific wine list and a menu with just enough choices - and they all sounded delicious! I had the Pinot Grigio (OK, 2 glasses), shared the roasted brussels sprouts and for the entree, the Pomodoro. Everything was delicious!! The portions were just the right size for a satisfied feeling without being too full. And from the second we walked into the restaurant for our table, the staff was friendly and helpful, and I feel like we have a new pal in Eugene. Highly recommend this hidden gem!!
Food always perfect. Everyone very nice. Reservations a must.
Very good neighborhood joint: good Italian food. The salads and pizza were great, as was the ricotta cheese cake. Bottarga pasta not as good as pre-pandemic for some reason.
But a lovely place to relax outside and eat a very good dinner.
Delicious and authentic Italian food and the wait staff was very knowledgeable.
Amazing food and wine! Just would’ve been nice if they stayed open a bit later. 9:00pm is too early.
We have enjoyed Mora for a long time now. The pasta is delicious with my favorite being Cacio y Pepe. We had a salad & the Charcuterie Pizza last night and it was delicious. The wine list has a good selection & variety for exploring. We will always go back. The staff are all knowledgeable & professional.
We loved our experience and our waiter Noah took very good care of us. We'll DEFINITELY go back!
Great food, small establishment, service good. Corkage fee 25 dollars, a bit steep.
Ambience not great due to outside dining
Oh, Covid...how we missed a real restaurant experience. Well last night we had one of the best meals, service and experience we could have hoped for coming out of the closures and restrictions. Cheers to Mora Italiano and its chef and staff! Bravo!!
Outstanding service, delicious food and great wine list by the glass
Never had a bad meal at Mora one of our favorite spots to dine!
Love this charming neighborhood Italian restaurant. The menu is not a predictable menu offering something for everyone. The wine list is extensive and interesting. And Eugene, the waiter with the best memory and recommendations never disappoints!
Went for Mother’s Day. They were very busy & we were lost for a little bit, but they came by after a few minutes & very attentive from then on. The food was amazing, it is a small menu. Lovely patio & I will certainly go back. I’ve already recommended to others.
My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant several times and I am always happy there. I am vegan but my husband isn’t so I often have a little difficulty finding satisfying meals at non vegan restaurants. At Mora Italiano I always find something wonderful and often creative. Also they are very accommodating to my diet. The last time we were there I had pasta with a vegan “meat” sauce. It was fabulous.
Always excellent food and great service
We've been fans of Mora for several years now, and though they have changed their menu somewhat recently, you can always count on the food being really tasty. They seem to have varied and upgraded their salads of late, and my wife's lamb chop entree was excellent. I do find the prices rather high, though, and while the service is generally good, the staff can sometimes vary from asking how everything's "tasting" to being a bit hard to catch when you need something. All in all, it remains a place we enjoy visiting, but I can still see at least a little room for improvement.
Awesome food and service. Would definitely come back
Mora Italiano is now my favorite go-to Italian restaurant. Cacio e Pepe and roasted chicken were prepared well and were very tasty. Service was friendly and attentive.
One of the very best Italian Restaurants in the Valley. The food is wonderful and Eugene and his staff make everyone feel like family. Terrific wine list and desserts are devine. An absolute must if your are in the Valley
Very nice! Food fresh and well prepared! Waiters gracious
The food was delicious. Ambience and service was great. Noah our server was very friendly and made our first experience even better.
I got the Cacio pasta dish and it was amazing! Server was knowledgable on wines as well.
Nice table outside. Confortable. Good service
The food was pretty good! Four people and $400 later the service was not great at all, sorry to say. I mentioned to Moro that it was my birthday and specifically mentioned that I wanted my guests to have a wonderful time but the service was really uncomforable and we felt ignored.
Best cacio e pepe I've ever had. Eugene is the best waiter. Super cute, European style neighborhood place.
Lovely, small neighborhood restaurant with a nice patio, friendly service, and delicious food. All the pasta dishes we've tried to far have been great, the branzino was terrific, and the burrata with sugar peas appetizer and the artichoke salad were so good. Easy parking. Not cheap. But worth it.
We love going to Mora & it is a neighborhood favorite. The service is always great & Eugene is very knowledgeable about the food & wine. I have the Cacio y Pepe almost every time & am never disappointed. Will go back often.
poor service, seated right in front of smelly restroom
Excellent food, the host even knew us by firs name.
Felt like family - a bit pricy - but highly recommended
Fantastic service and incredible food. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. Also loved the ambiance.
Service friendly and attentive
We love the food there. A delicious Charcuterie Pizza & Salad was perfect for a last minute evening.
Amazing food - truly incredible. Great ambiance and impressive service. We are definitely coming again! Thank you!
Romantic simple food.
I really wanted to like this spot, but unfortunately it soooo missed the mark. The food is really tasty, and I enjoyed everything I ate, but the service was atrocious. I may get take out, but dining in would more than likely never occur again.
Came on Saturday evening for dinner and got seated outside of their tented area, got informed we would be getting a heater for our table, but had to ask for it twice before it was brought out. A busser took our drink and food order, brought our bread, food, and silverware. Only about halfway through our dinner did we actually see a server that came to check on us for about 10 seconds before running off. Not once were we offered refills for our drinks or asked if we wanted anything else.
We ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 sides. Whoever took our order missed one entree and when we asked about it multiple times, they kept saying it was coming and no one admitted they missed putting it in. We were offered boxes to take our leftovers home and then we asked about the missing entree again, we were informed that the roasted chicken takes a lot of “tender, love, and care to prepare.” So, you guys forgot the order, no big deal, but not even an apology or anything.
We eventually got all our leftovers bagged up and the roasted chicken entree arrived, but we weren’t given any utensils or plates. The busser that had been so kind to tend to us all evening noticed and brought us plates, utensils, and a to go to box for the chicken. Then he said have a good evening.
NO ONE BROUGHT ME MY CHECK! I could’ve left and screwed over that crappy server, but I didn’t. I made my reservation on Opentable and was able to see the total cost of my dinner there, so I left cash on the table to cover the bill, and I tipped the busser 20%. Did they actually get my cash to cover my bill? I have no clue. It would be 1 star just for the busser that helped us out all evening, but the food was decent so I guess 2 will suffice.
Seems they must be on skeleton crew. Took a while to place order and get served. The food though, is unbelievably good and looking forward to going back and getting more artichoke salad. Wish they had more reasonably priced wines by the glass. I ordered a red after not enjoying the initial red I had and it was $16/glass and it was a smallish pour in a cheap wine glass.
