Food was amazing.
Exvellent food, excellent service!
For the hype and price the food surely didn't equate. Pumpkin soup had no flavor and was watery. Pork Chop overcooked and VERY salty. Bread plate was decent, however the spreads were not very good.
Our sever was easy going and quick with the drinks.
Manager tried to argue with me when they brought me the wrong dish (ordered gluten free pasta). I’ve had a good experience in the past but this manager had a real issue that night with the service staff and mistakes.
Excellent food and service!!!
Mora is what you might expect from a contemporary, upscale venue. Food was very good...tried the octopus, orata fish, mushroom ragout pasta and zeppole..yum. They charged for bread with a little garlic-parmean spread...long wine list....service was very friendly and accomodating...went early and noise was not a factor...easy parking on street...upper-end prices.
Loved their house specialty mora focaccia bread have it every time. This trip I tried the Fritto Misto absolutely fabulous and very generous. The lamb loin had wonderful flavor but overpriced for what you receive. Our friends had pasta 1) the Pasta al Pomodoro which was her second time having and enjoying fully plus Torch which made our friends enjoying the flavor to the max.
The food was awesome! Really enjoyed my meal. However, the seating was uncomfortable and it was insanely loud. On top of the noise of the other patrons, they had loud music playing. Couldn't hear my friend across the table from me. Not a spot for a quite date night, unless you're sitting next to each other. But the food was wonderful!
As close to sitting in a trattoria in the Tuscan countryside as there is in the USA
Delicious food. The staff was friendly and accommodating. A lovely patio for dining. We were able to try many different dishes using small plates. Stand-outs were antipasta salad, lobster pasta, pasta bolognese. Their desserts looked spectacularand we opted for zeppole with a zabaglione sauce. Yum
Excellent as usual.
Pasta wonderful. Service excellent. Menu extensive. Sitting at kitchen bar stools fascinating
Probably the most beautifully decorated and designed restaurant I've ever been in... Absolutely gorgeous. The Torchio pasta and the Rigatoni Verde pasta was fantastic! The flavors all worked together and the portion size was spot on. I would have licked my plate if I wasn't trying to maintain my manners. For dessert, the Salted Caramel Blandino was rich and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try something else! My new favorite Italian restaurant, hands down.
Amazing food and incredible service. One of our new favorites! Can not wait to come back. YUMMO
The food was SOOO good! Not one thing we ordered wasn't awesome and the desserts were amazing! Server was so friendly and when asked to "Surprise me" with something great. She did just that and it was spot on!
Great atmosphere, but mediocre food, poorly cooked.
Excellent experience for our family. Family visiting from TN for Spring Break.
the service was outstanding. everyone was very attentative. while the foow was excellently prepared and presentated the wine prices were a bit high. We sat outdoors , the weather was ice as well as tbe atmosphere.
The food was very good, particularly the black pasta with clams. But the service was dreadful! Our waiter went MIA. I had to go to the bar to ask for water and it took over 15 minutes to have him bring the check.
Wait staff was friendly, but uneven; not attentive at times and then borderline overbearing. Drinks and appetizers were excellent. Pasta was good, but not special for the price. Deserts were thoroughly enjoyable.
Excellent! Can't wait to go back!
We'd heard mixed reviews, but decided to give it a go. Didn't love...
First time dining. Open concept design, casual, but with upscale dining. Ranging from casual bar seating to more romantic booth seating. We did the chef's tasting & it was fantastic. Service was outstanding.... Dusty was extremely helpful with the menu, cocktails & wine. Shelley was our manager & stopped by several times (not too much, just right) to make sure everything was going great. Everyone worked as a cohesive team.... would recommend to anyone that enjoys great Italian food, wine & superb service!
Great food and a fun time! Good drinks also :-) I’ve been to Mora several times and I will definitely go back. Everything I’ve had has been delicious
Exceptional service, phenomenal cuisine
We used this trip to introduce some friends to Mora. I was a little Leary because I could only get a patio table but this was not a problem. We were very comfortable. The food was good as usual. The Bread board is always a treat and our Italian friends were impressed, especially with the Stromboli. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We left feeling appreciated and grateful for another positive experience. I know our Friends will certainly return to further explore the menu.
My sisters birthday
We chose Mora as a return to our first date restaurant. We love the food and the ambiance. Our server was good just had one little glitch where he forgot to bring wine menu for dinner as requested so we were halfway done with entrees by the time we had a glass of wine. Still he was quick to realize and attend to our needs. We will continue to come this great gem of Italian flavors.
The food was good, even special. But two knocks on the place. One, the noise level was too high. Two, and more importantly, I think it is regrettable that a place offering pizza and pasta and generally pleasing but not adventuresome Italian food does not offer a low-priced plonk that would allow customers to have a couple of glasses of wine without feeling that the expense was the equivalent of having another person or two at the table. I'm sure the wine list is terrific if you're operating on an expense account; but maybe not so good if you're not.
Food was excellent as well as service. Would go back for sure
Service was slow. We were seated in the bar even with a reservation for a special occasion. We felt forgotten throughout the entire meal. Drinks from the bar came out slowly, food quality for dinner was just ok. I think it was the manger who finally took our desert order after we waited for far too long. I expected he would stop back and check on us after he knew how long we waited, but nobody came back until the check was dropped. Based on the prices verses the service we received, we are not likely to return.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, great service. Highly recommend.
Excellent evening at Mora!!! My husband and our friends thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance of Mora. The birthday dessert was a highlight of the evening, thank you so much!
I will be thinking about the Ricotta Fritters and the Pork and Veal Meatballs for quite some time...amazing!
Ambiance was amazing but, that’s pretty much where it ended. Some issues with getting drinks which caused a pretty good delay but the food was bland at best and very small portions and well over priced. Appetizer, two drinks, two entrees total bill was $100.00. I don’t mind paying $100.00 for dinner if I get what I paid for and in this case, Mora Italian fell short.
Good food moderately priced. We thought the polenta was excellent, the bruschetta not to our liking, the Caesar salad ho him and the gnudi pasta outstanding. Great
Service and quite a nice experience except for the street noise on 7th Ave. if we go again we’ll sit inside.
Delicious food. Great ambiance. Service wasn't so great.
Great service - good-ish food - fun atmosphere - what I expected from a “celebrity” resto. The only true disappointment was the truffles, which was hyper-promoted, and absolutely tasteless (from China?). Waste of our money. But I would go back for the basic Italian food.
Outstanding , fresh and creative all the foods we're unbelievably good.
