Small plates but not too tiny that we couldn't share among 3. Everything including the sushi and pancit noodles tasted amazing. Usually in an asian fusion type of restaurant such as Mora, only one type of Asian food is better than the rest. Mora did a great job using using just the right enough seasoning to provide a tastefully eclectic experience. We topped off our dinner with a sushi filled with fruit. The waitress informed us the fruit filled sushi rolls we're excellent for breakfast too in case we had leftovers.

The first thing you should know is that they charge a 3.9% fee if you pay with a credit card, claiming that the menu prices reflect the 'cash discount' which is, of course, garbage. It's 2019 and this is absurd. It left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Good food- we and our kids enjoyed everything. Sushi wasn't amazing, but like most places in the midwest they compensate with a lot of sauces. Solid, I would say. Not special. I would go back, but I can't say I am pumped about it.

The incessant Celine Dion playing (was this just a special treat for V-Day?) was obnoxious. We were seated at a table where the seats had no backs, which I think would be uncomfortable for many people.

Service was fine. Server was good, the issue seemed to be in the kitchen. Super long wait for maki. Food was okay, not sure we'll return.

We absolutely loved our server. The restaurant was very accommodating to our reservation change. The food was phenomenal. I recommend the Korean wings and tuna tartare. I will certainly return. Very nice place for a date.

They seem to be positioning themselves like a high end restaurant, but there were a few things that did not represent that perception:
- charge for using a credit card with a note on the bill saying they love their cash paying customers
- plastic plates
- totes and sign stored by the bathrooms

The atmosphere was beautiful inside and out. It was clean and cozy with an open feel. The Kitchen was visible. The waitress were very capable and helpful, friendly, and warm. The food was very good and tasty. We had the Pancit it was not traditional but it was like more modern 2.O, and desert was on point.

The food is tasty but overall the place is overpriced for an Oak Park restaurant. Also, we were hit with a 9 fee for "non-cash surcharge" --also known as a credit card fee, which is something I have never seen in an upscale restaurant. This is really unacceptable--no one pays cash at pricey restaurants--especially when there is no warning for this. they need to eliminate this and figure out how to absorb this into menu prices.

Took a chance checking out a new spot and couldn’t be more thrilled with our choice. Went out in search for some great sushi and found so much more here. The shareable plates were good sized and allowed to try many exciting menu items. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu

This was our second visit. On the first visit, we like the food but service was not great. This time I service was much better and the food was still great. In fact, we were craving the green curry sauce so much we had to go back. They also do a twist on an Old Fashioned (use peach instead of orange) which is great. As others have said, beware the surcharge for not using cash as not well publicized. We will continue to eat here!!

Everything was great, but the restaurant adds on a $10 fee if you don't pay in cash and it was never mentioned, even when the check was dropped. The server did not explain it to us and we had to inquire as to why there was an unexplained $10 fee on the check. Especially odd this day in age when people don't typically carry cash. The food was good, but the odd fee was unexpected and we felt as though nobody was up front about this.

So attended the grand opening and was blown away favorably by the food ambience and staff unfortunately I return visit was quite a different story.

I hate saying that the service was abysmal but it wasn't even that good. She meant very well and tried very hard but it was clear that she was not trained as I waitress at least not in the classic sense.

Will definitely give it another shot to see if the third time is the charm but as we had recommended it to friends who are dining with us was very disappointed and would be hesitant to say I would recommend it to anyone else at this point.

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Waited 25 plus minutes for our drink order and appetizer. My husbands drink never arrived, neither did our appetizer. When our dinner came before we even had our drinks and appetizer, we walked out. Our poor waitress was overwhelmed, not well trained, and no one really cared to help. Poor service! Poor bartender. Don’t even waste your time going. High price point on food they cannot even deliver.

Love this new restaurant in Oak Park's art district. Very fun food and a great place to meet up with friends. Service is still a little slow but very friendly wait staff. Drinks service really needs to be faster. I've dined in 3 times so far. The tables with stools need to be changed out to chairs with backs.

This was our first time eating at Mora. Overall the food was good. The small plates were really good - great flavor; the sushi was average (and expensive). For your taste buds and wallet, choose from the small plate menu only. Many people give great reviews to the bar - and the drinks are really tasty. However, both drinks we ordered took about 10-15 minutes to arrive. Our second one didn't actually arrive until we had finished our dinner. The service was friendly, but slow. Also, if you don't want to incur a 4% credit card processing fee , bring cash with you!

I’m very disappointed. I’ve been there now twice and the service has been awful. We have voiced our concerns to the manager but feel the owner should know.
Mora’s Asian Kitchen has great potential. The food is delish (main reason why we went back) but the service needs some help. Your staff should know the menu from drinks, to apps, to dinner. Drinks should always be served prior to apps. And we shouldn’t have to tell the staff they have brought us the wrong order several times.
I also do NOT care for the green room. Looks and feels like a science lab. Friends of ours were there again this weekend and had the same experience.
We live I the area and love dining out so we enjoy options.
Please do something FAST!

Reservation was not honored when we showed up 4 minutes prior to reservation. Was told that since we booked same day they would not honor it as they were overbooked. Upon inquiry to the hostess, she was clear that she does not control Open Table and I could feel free to make a reservation at least one day in advance. Upon further questions she again let me k ow she does not control open table. When I asked how I could trust a future reservation, she let me know they would call me if they could not honor the reservation. No plans to go back

Tasty and unique asian cuisine offerings. The seaweed salad was amazing. Many great options for maki rolls. Many great gluten free options on the menu as well. I also loved that my Cava was served in a coupe glass, which I believe is the best way to drink a sparkling wine. The ambiance was modern, fun and romantic. I will be back to try more items from the menu.
