In 2014, MOPHO was nominated as one of Bon Appetit's Top 50 Best New Restaurants. It was also named Restaurant of the Year by New Orleans Magazine and People's Choice Best New Restaurant by Gambit Magazine in 2014.
Another great dining experience. Food was incredible yet again. Went with another couple who had never been and they really enjoyed it. Everyone had the special which was a lamb curry with the exception of myself. I ordered a pork dish. My only complaint was that there was really only one small piece of pork an a lot of veggies but everything was really delicious!
Excellent food - special was shredded pork w roti and pickled veggies. Sweet potatoe waffle and chicken was delicious and the appetizer chicken wings were fabulous. Courteous service.
Incredible wings and chicken legs. Great hangover pho
The veggie broth pho with the pork belly and poached egg was the best. The bowls are plentiful and it's a lot of food. My friend made her own with meatballs and when she cut into them they were bloody and messed up the taste of her broth. The veggie bowl was also not a hit for our vegetarian friend though she said the tofu was really good. 2/3 dishes were not that great. But the one dish that was good was exceptional.
The food is always great and the menu changes regularly so there always seems like there is something new to try.
The food was super delicious . Service excellent.
Yummy food and friendly staff. Very considerate of my gluten allergy.
My only complaint was that i was freezing! I noticed a patron next to me go out to the car to get a sweater, i unfortunately did not have one with me. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and they were able to describe the dishes so specifically that when the food arrived, it was exactly how it was described! How often does that ever happen? We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back.
Food was too salty. It's nice to sometimes get away from traditional, but "kale" in vermicelli? No thanks. The pork was big and chunky, I prefer thin slices. We waited too long for our appetizer, and had to remind our waiter who seemed to have not put in the order. Over priced...
Lovely cocktails! Great wings and food overall. We had the Pho which was really good. We loved loved the tamarind sazerac
Chicken was undercooked and gave me a stomachache. Pho is very salty and pork belly is not tender. Would not recommend at all.
Everything was so delicious!!!!! Can’t wait to go back
We really enjoyed this place. The waitstaff were all super friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding and unique. You will not find anything like this anywhere else. It was a fun night. Highly recommend the lemongrass ice cream cakes... trust me on this.
Went for Coolinary Month. Their wings are some of the best in the city. The lamb curry was insanely good. I recommend their gin drinks as well.
Excellent food. Interesting blending of spices and texture. We preferred apps and entrees. All different and fantastic.
Is the chef Asian or American? I know he spent time in Hanoi.
Good and tasteful food but probably too expensive.
Explosive mouth full of fusion flavors including best Phō on the planet. Can’t wait to go back, making it a weekly occurrence!
Fantastic starters. Menu was super interesting and the cocktails were dope.
Drove for an hour to dine here. Worth the drive anytime. Just amazing. Keep it up.
Red beans were delicious and interesting.
Delicious as usual. P&J oysters never disappoint. Lamb curry was especially delish. Get an extra helping of roti and you're set.
Sometimes you're lucky to find a restaurant where it's hard to find the words to truly describe the deliciousness of the food!! MoPho would be that kinda place. The flavors are intense, rich, spicy and perfectly combined to form the most scrumptious, palate-pleasing dishes! We dined on Vindaloo Bites, Spring Rolls (best I've ever eaten), curried lamb and Corn and Crab Laksa--all absolutely divine!!
We loved our experience! We tried just about everything on the menu. Chicken wings were so crispy and juicy. Pho was sooooo good. Our server was so friendly and had a great attitude. I would totally recommend this place!
Service was awesome! Food was great! A little warm and the sunlight blazing in was in our eyes. Other than that the hangover pho was amazing!!!!
First time and will go again. Excellent waiter, very helpful and knowledgeable of menu.
Went to Vindaloo Tuesday at Mopho!! Love the Hot Chicken Vindaloo over a Crispy Rice Waffle !
If you have not tried it yet make sure you visit soon!
The food was excellent. My girlfriend and I have already decided to come back. Great time
Menu is interesting and food was special. Great flavors and creativity. Service was friendly if somewhat slow. But we were able to get a table at a peak time on Friday. We’ll go again.
Will certainly be back to try the specials at Happy Hour. . We tried A few different side items and enjoyed everything .
I love MoPho. On my recent visit, I ordered the Monday special which was red beans and rice — a very unconventional version. It was delicious and I will go back on a Monday to order it again.
Overall a great experience.
We started with the wing appetizer. Delish!
Two of us had the pork spring rolls; two had the pork sandwiches. Both were very good!
We enjoyed the food so much! As it was a Saturday we were able to enjoy their slow cooked pork as well as their wings and shrimp. The delicious spring rolls were very fresh and satisfying and much larger than the fried version.
We had s delicious lunch.
This was the third time I’ve introduced a friend to MoPho and had the same reaction, delight! The creative eclectic menu and the friendly service never disappoints. Whether I’m with my vegan daughter or carnivore-loving friends, the crispy Brussels sprouts are always a favorite! Pho, oysters, red beans and crispy rice, I have praise for all.
Amazing flavors in every bite. Already wanting to return to try something new on this wonderfully creative menu. Don't skip on the cocktails or booba teas! Appetizers are large enough for sharing and or as a full meal. The wait staff is helpful and very informed about specials and what's in every dish.
Love the chicken wings
Good Vietnamese food with a Cajun flare
Earthy, delicious, original
Chicken wings were amazing, as was the pho. The spiked bubble tea was great too. Lovely atmosphere and presentation.
Service came around several times to refresh the items on the table - silverware, paper towels, chopsticks - while we were eating. Not for our benefit, but to get the table situated for future diners.
Also, we were three and were sharing and had asked for a sandwich to be cut in thirds rather than half, and rather than being told no at the time, the sandwich came to the table, we told the person setting down we had requested it in thirds and could they now cut each half into three, he took it away, but was intercepted by the waitress and the sandwich brought back to us saying, no they couldn't possibly cut the sandwich in thirds for us. That "they" (who? the chef?) are particular about the presentation. Well, they presented a face that the food is more 'precious' than the requests of the clientele. It's not like the sandwich didn't then get cut with a dull knife at the table by us. It was an unnecessary annoyance and leaves one wondering why.
Their version of red beans and rice was very nice.
