Always a pleasure to dine at MOOO. They are extremely pleasant and accommodating. The food is wonderful and our server St. Clair is always a treat. Thank you.
Wonderful service,ambiance and food!
Brunch. Very nice and very good food and service.
A special dining experience with great food only exceeded by the service
This was my second visit to Mooo and it was even better this time! My boyfriend and I got there right at five and the dining room filled up pretty soon after we got there.
We split the lobster bisque for an app and it was just delicious - it literally tastes like drinking lobster and butter. I don't think I'd ever come here and not get this, it's just that good.
We each had a steak for our entree - I had the 8 oz. filet mignon, he had the pepper-crusted porterhouse. I think mine was a little better, but both were great. With our entrees we got the smaller side flight and it was WAY too much. It comes with mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, creamed spinach, and truffle fries. If you're thinking about getting at least two of those sides, it's worth it, but two people wouldn't be able to finish it unless you're not getting any apps or desserts.
We were way too full, but got dessert anyway. Creme brulee. Perfect.
Service was great too!
I have no complaints at all. Mooo is my favorite restaurant in Boston.
Creative approach to the steak house concept. Lots of interesting cuts and a wide array of sides. Everything was well prepared and delicious. Quality comes at a cost. One bottle of wine for a party of 6 (most not drinking) and the tab (with tip) hit $100 per. With that caveat, it was worth it.
Food was fantastic
The staff went above and beyond to celebrate my son’s 21st Birthday - the menu was printed with HBD, the wrote on plate as well as candles.
Food was delicious and staff was very attentive as well as courteous.
As a high end restaurant, we expect nothing but the very best. We had a reservation at 5:30, were there promptly but were not seated for another ten minutes.
The Manhattan and martini cocktails we ordered were delivered in ordinary glassware with no “dirty ice” or small shaker to add to the drink. The Manhattan was less than to the top. The salads were large and delicious, my veal entree very good and the cauliflower side was exceptional. My husband’s entree, a prime rib eye, was not “fork tender” and suspiciously like a sirloin. The waiter checked with the chef who said it was rib eye, but we were very unsatisfied in his response. There are too many exceptional restaurants. We will not return.
ate there for lunch and sat at the bar. nice local beer selection! had the burger...BEST EVER!
The truffle fries were outstanding. I ordered filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection (medium rare).
The staff and atmosphere was great but the food was either hit or miss. The meatballs were amazing and the ribeye we got was good. However, the lobster Mac and cheese was severely over salted and barely had any lobster. The brussels sprouts were also average and salty.
Great service, great food! Very romantic setting
One of the best places to get steak in Boston. Girlfriend and I went for Sunday brunch, bot got steak and Eggs (I got the filet mingon, she got the NY strip). Both were cooked exactly right and were top quality. Sides were delicious as well, and the complimentary banana bread was fresh out the oven. It is a bit pricey, but the food quality and service was worth the price.
Scrumptious food - everything tasted so fresh!! Seared ahi tuna that melts in your mouth, meatballs from the Gods, and fresh-from-the-sea-lobster mac & cheese. Great atmosphere, excellent service, would absolutely recommend. Just know - you get what you pay for here!!
Each time I have gone to Mooo, it has never failed to meet my expectations; unfailingly excellent on every front.
Beautiful, stylish, low lit and romantic atmosphere. The service was very good. The steak was excellent, the butter sauce with the lobster was incredible. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is vegetables that came with the surf and turf were so overcooked that they were mush. A great spot for a romantic dinner.
It was our sons birthday and they went above and beyond!
Great food. Kind of slow service. But overall very good food!
Celebrating my sister's 50th birthday. Food was sublime. Sidecar cocktail was near perfect in balance and taste.
Lost my jacket at coat check. Please help.
Incredible place with amazing food, stunning atmosphere, and top notch customer service. ❤️
Greeted at my cab by doorman with umbrella, warmly welcomed, excellent server, prompt service but not rushed - took care we could conduct our business, well worth the price!
Noise level was great. Food looked promising but seemed salty. Could finish my steak and accompanying frites due to salt content.
Fabulous Sunday Brunch- every dish was fabulous, as were the Bloody Mary's. The truffle fries are out of this world. Would head back in a heartbeat. The lobster Benedict was amazing.
This was our second time at Mooo and it did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. My only issue with the server was I had trouble understanding him. He spoke very quickly, otherwise he was fine. I’m not sure we will come back again as the prices are bordering on too high for me. There were two of us, split an app. One cocktail, one glass of wine. One filet with one side of Brusselsprouts and a beef Wellington with a side of spinach. Split desert each had coffee. The bill was $245 before tip. I’m glad we went, but I think next time we’ll try somewhere else.
AH-MOOO-ZING! Our server Kristina was superb, and the food scrumptious. East coast oysters were a perfect size and starter. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavorful Waygu flat iron and delightful housemade tots (mashed potatoes, cheese & bacon balled and pan-fryed) while my lady had the 14oz prime sirloin and whipped potatoes. The garlic spinach was surprisingly flavorful. We finished with the chocolate cake which was semi-sweet, rich and delectable! Can’t wait to return!
The meat is really good. So as the beef tartar. Lovely ambient
Love everything about this place. People, food, decor. First class
Food is just ok. Pricing was very high. I didn’t like most of my meal. Was the surf and turf for $89. Bland piece of steak and what was supposed to be half of a 3.5 lb lobster. It was probably half the size and very over cooked. Would not return.
We enjoyed or evening at Mooo very much. The restaurant's pleasing decor made it much more worthwhile. Our meats were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The side of truffled fries were excellent as well. I have tasted better escargots but these where nicely prepared and with plenty dipping sauce. The wine list is a bit overwhelming and really did not expect it but I guess with such quality meats, a good wine is a definite companion. Would certainly recommend the experience.
Moo/boo! We have gone to Moo many times in the pass and had a terrific time. Our Sunday meal was not representative of our pass experience and that is the 'rub' :) We wanted to order the Branzino Fish that was not available because it was not delivered. Second, we ordered a drink with the ice in the brandy type glass towering over the 'old fashion' mix. This was the smallest drink that I have ever seen and the presentation, ouch. (Like, I said we have been here before). The waiter returned to tell us how many ounces the bartender used and so on.. Don't you hate excuses when being served and bartenders who are being a chemist while charging an arm and a leg for that drink. You don't go to Moo watching your budget, but please just make me HAPPY! OK, just make my guest happy! We will be back but please make us like you.
The food was very delicious and served promptly. The server congradualted us on our anniversary as soon as he greeted us. We were quite full after dinner so we passed on dessert. However they brought out a complimentary marshmallow dessert that was very cute.
Great meal, service and overall experience!
Complimentary Apple Tart from Alexis and PERFECTLY cooked filet mignons! Definitely an amazing experience and will be coming back (hopefully) soon!
Everything we had was amazing! I had the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked. The creme brûlée was the perfect end. Excellent service and ambiance.
Food and service was awesome! Waiter were able to answer any questions and make suggestion with regards to what went well together. Defiantly will be back!
New Years Day! Delicious.
This was our second time here and we will not be back. The steak was dry and the rest of the meal lacked flavor and imagination. What a waste of a night out
