Legends is The Valley’s multi-purpose venue open to the public 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Legends offers great dining and entertainment with uninterrupted views across the Moonee Valley racecourse paired with spectacular outlooks to Melbourne’s city skyline. Legends is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or a drink from our fully licensed venue and watch the races from an enviable position above the home turn.

We are open 7 days a week for Lunch and Dinner. Monday to Thursday Lunch and Dinner are served in our Cafe with a limited menu of our favourites. Friday to Sunday Lunch and Dinner are served in our Bistro with an extensive menu that includes all of your favourites as well as daily specials.

Poor service from the bar staff tried to charge twice for drinks and over all very rude.

As a Coeliac, I was extremely disappointed to find that my choices were very limited regarding food. I ordered steak with vegetables as no gluten free chips were on the menu. Many pubs and restaurants now provide these. There was not one gluten free gravy or choice of sauce available to have with the steak. We assumed that a venue this size would cater more for people with this condition. The vegetables looked straight out of an Aldi pack. I approached the kitchen staff and asked if I could have some roast potatoes to improve the food. I was sent away being told that I'd ordered vegetables, not roast vegetables and that was that. We were extremely disappointed and unimpressed. We certainly will not be going back. Apart from this unfortunate experience, the views and other staff were excellent.

Roast dinner was beautiful. Setting is always amazing. Fantastic view of the city and the race course. Would definitely recommend this venue for food/drinks or both

My friend and I had a most enjoyable lunch, the food was delicious and well priced with a good selection to choose from. Service was quick and efficient with the staff being very engaging add to a comfortable welcoming atmosphere. The only downside was parking however on the particular day we were able to find spots but would consider using Uber on busy days which of course adds to the cost of the service experience. All in all well be back.

Staff were very helpful. We arrived and ordered at a busy time as two big tables were ahead of us. Our kids meal arrived early, but the rest of us had a little wait. But every one really enjoyed their meals, which were tasty and well presented.

We had a really lovely meal - three adults, two children, all very well catered for. Service was excellent. Will certainly return.
