Moon Under Water
Love this place it’s my local pub. Yummy food. Friendly staff.
The evening was perfect. The food was good and the service were amazing. Really recommending it to friends and family.
After a long absence dining at the Moon I decided to return excited after reading about the new menu on OpenTable. However, as in my prior visits the online menu wasn’t even close to the actual menu. I was told once again the seasonal menu was not available. One doesn’t live on fish and chips alone! The Moon will also be a sentimental favorite but with all the choices of wonderful restaurants in the area I find myself (and friends) dining elsewhere on a regular basis.
Bday for my dad and Mother’s Day for my mom
Just wanted to go there for Mother’s Day! And for the $4 mimosas! 🤗
Great food, reasonably priced and wonderful service!
My son recommended Moon Under Water to me with our shared appreciation of Indian food in mind. Our family standard is Chicken Tikka Masala (or as we call it CTM) and Moon Under Water's rendition of this staple was top notch. Hint: If you are offered the spice "enhancer" add it in small amounts. My friend had a fish sandwich from the English Pub side of the menu and he reported it favorably. We sat outside on the terrace which was very comfortable even on a warm day and the service was excellent. Will definitely go there again, and recommend it to others.
Sat outside which was lovely until the rain came. Moved inside and hung out until the rain stopped. Staff friendly and helpful, food was very good.
My wife and I planned to go the Moon Under Water on previous visits to St Pete, but never made it through the doors. This time we did make it to the restaurant, and after shuffling through a few tables to lessen the patio noise, we both ordered curries. I say unreservedly it was incredibly delicious; best we've had in all our visits to Indian restaurants! Service was amazing as well. We WILL be back!!!
Enjoyed our dinner, nice setting good crowd. If you want to improve, get much better napkins and get better wine glasses, they were cheesey! Lastly, screw city council, get straws! Do you really think by not allowing straws for customers that St. Petersburg is saving the planet? Get straws!
Family friendly, great location within walking distance from the Vinoy. Great spot for client meetings, I can actually have a conversation! Highly recommend it.
yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yummy yummy yummy yummy
Trying to do Indian is a big mistake as was ours that evening. Chili tiki masala had uncooked onions, grainy texture to sauce as spices were not cooked into dish properly. Chicken was tender, so disappointing that the sauce was inferior. Grocery bought nan, not homemade. British pub pretending to cook Indian. Maybe stick with fish and chips.
