We had a great time. The staff looked after us very well but were unobtrusive at the same time. The food was delicious and an all round good experience!

Chicken caesar burger was nice but not huge amount of flavour. Ginger ice cream in the Sundae was delicious, would be happy with a big bowl of that.

Great Sunday lunch. Excellent roast and fish and chips. Very accommodating to a toddler and nice children’s menu. Excellent service.

We have visited Monty’s on several occasions and always had a pleasant evening, however the meal this time was really not very good at all. The portions were smaller than usual and also the wait time was a lot longer than usual.

Thursday night lacked any ambience. About half full but staff turned away a walk in. Food was tasty but presented in a very rushed manner. Koffman chips are highlighted on the menu- tasted crispy like a chip should but otherwise I couldn’t see a difference. Really could do with some life and soul.

Pre booked this meal prior to our overnight stay at the Montagu Arms. Everything about this place exuded class. A lovely start to our holiday.
