Two venues, two purposes - Starting in May, pizza will shift to takeaway only - @mikes.pizza_ will still be serving up your favourite woodfired pizzas, ready to grab and go. We’re outgrowing the space we share and this shift will allow Monte Lane to shine at what we do best - serving great drinks, share plates, and wine bar vibes, while giving Mikes Pizza more room to flourish. Food was enjoyable and cocktails were nice however the service was lacking. We had to go find staff everytime we wanted to order another round of drinks or our meals. A lot of people don't like using QR codes so not wise to expect patrons to find and use this. Expected table service. Owners look burnt out. After being seated it would have been nice to have the specials explained to us and also being a wine bar I would have thought wines would have been suggested which pair with the specials or seasonal meu. I like the venue and would like to see the staff deliver higher quality service.

Monte Lane never fails. The food is always exceptional & our visit tonight was no different - especially the pasta special! T-bone 10/10. Fantastic service, great atmosphere & trivia on a Wednesday night is a hit.

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and I’m so glad we did. Amazing pizza and wine. Went for the trivia night and it was brilliant and so much fun. Great service! Thank you to the team at Monte Lane.

The restaurant has a very good ambient for a nice slow dinner. It is great to see events like these, people collaborating and celebrating food from different culture. Overall service is good. One thing is that we arrived earlier but customers (who came later) were seated before us. The food was generally good, especially the starters (Beef Tartare and Barramundi). Desserts were a bit disappointing, both the persimmons (white foam was overpowering) and the Cinnamon Myrtle ice cream with Liquorice custard. Flavour profile of the desserts weren’t pleasant.

A great experience overall. There was a noticed delay in some of our food coming out however the team were absolutely amazing when rectifying the situation. They went above and beyond expectations with rectification and we are incredibly appreciative of it all.

Food was delicious and excellent in the level of choices for the menu. The menu suits the blend of alcohol choices with the wine selection particularly strong in its local and international content.
