Best cheese fondue in the city! Great Swiss wine and cocktails too.
A meal here never disappoints!! Fondue with rosti wonderful.
Outstanding service and food, as always. They are friendly and welcoming, and their fondue is the best in the city. It's one of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
Simply put this place is highly recommended (slightly pricey but you get what you pay for). The food was delicious. Everyone in my party of 4 loved entrees, apps and desserts. We had veal, trout almandine, chicken cordon bleu and special. My only complaint is a tiny one. I am allergic to onion and garlic and, while my trout was perfect, the potatoes they served me had onion all over. I gave it to my husband who enjoyed it but they should be more careful about people's allergies in the kitchen (and my bad for not alerting the wait staff about the goof).
Lovely Quaint restaurant! Celebrating my daughters 19th birthday and they made us feel special. I’ve not been able to find Rosti since I went to Switzerland and they had it, really good. Great crusty bread with traditional z a Swiss Cheese Fondue. I will be back when I’m in the city again.
Mint Blanc 52 is consistently good. We thought we would mix it up a little bit and go somewhere else but we couldn’t find anywhere else in the neighborhood that surpassed it. The service is wonderful, the food is always good, the menu is lovely, and the prices are appropriate. It can be noisy up front by the bar, but it’s very quiet in the back room which has big windows looking on to a courtyard. This is our go – to restaurant when we are theater near there.
Had the pre-fixed fondue menu for two. The food was perfect. The service was great. My friend and i did not feel rushed. I felt like i was back in Europe where restaurants let your enjoy your meal and the company of those you are dining with.
Always a wonderful dining experience. We had the fondue trio special for Valentine's Day and it was all amazing. But the real draw of this place is watching Maria bustle around making sure all her guests are taken care of. It's like a little piece of the Swiss Alps in midtown Manhattan. :)
Mont Blanc has a lovely quiet atmosphere. Very neighborhood feel Good standard fare. Great drinks. All at reasonable prices.
A very nice alternative restaurant with a swiss cuisine focused menu. They offer a nice Sunday Brunch as well as a full menu. Great for dinner, and if you like fondue - this is the place.
Wonderful food- not rushed at all. Great place to relax and enjoy the amazing fondue & raclette! Am definitely going back.
Nice, quiet place. Excellent food...
If you like European food, this is the right place. It has a good blend between a quality restaurant presentation and homemade quality. Service was fast and personnel very attentive. Great place to visit before a Broadway show!
We each had an appetizer, a main dish, and fancy coffees for dessert. The bread was its usual crusty outside and soft delicious interior. The wine was well priced, properly served, and finished by meal's end. Madame Marie is always attentive and the wait staff always helpful. We will be returning when circumstance permits.
Great food and wonderful service. I’ve never had better Rösti outside of Switzerland.
Went to Mont Blanc with my daughter before we saw Hamilton. Food was fantastic - especially the fondue!
Always dependable. Good food, drinks and staff. Great before theater restaurant.
Always friendly and welcoming. Food is very good. A great post-theater option. Highly recommended.
Fabulous food, atmosphere, service. Great bar. Many dishes you can’t easily get elsewhere.
Very solid place but there are too many other better restaurants around
Well-paced meal, we never felt rushed. Service was great and so was the food. I especially enjoyed the spinach salad.
Love this place!
Outstanding food, service and hospitality as always. Best fondue in NYC.
What a great place. A little off the beat and path. Food is fantastic and the value for midtown is amazing. Server Diana was charming. We will be back again and again!
Really good - we will be back!
Excelente comida estábamos en la parte de atrás y la calefacción era sofocante... Nos dijeron que si no no llegaba adelante...
What a friendly staff and excellent service ~ perfect way to celebrate a birthday ~ consider different art in the back room
Nothing special. Overpriced food of mediocre quality.
Great service and nice pre fixe menu. We always enjoy it. Staff are wonderful
The best food and value in the Theater District. Warm, welcoming atmosphere. Generous portions and drinks.
Well paced pre theater dinner, lovely and gracious service, fine food.
Maria is a theater district institution and every meal you have there is directly her doing in one way or another.
Nice and quiet environment, little old but good food and attention
Great food and service. Maria truly cares about her customers.
Love this little bit of The Grisons in NYC! Try the fondue and a bottle of fendant on a chilly evening when the wind is blowing. 🧀🧀🧀
Just a delightful evening, cozy, not noisy, very attentive and charming owners, old fashioned and modern at the same time. Chocolate fondue for dessert is great fun, delicious mains... a great, out of the way place worth a try. And a friendly, relaxing bar. I'll be back.
Wonderful food & cocktails in a very comfortable setting. Marie does a fantastic job!
We came together for our traditional Swiss Fondue Party. Outstanding cheese Fondue and Buendnerfleisch and great bread!!!! Very traditional and hard to find in Manhattan. The atmosphere was warm, Overall, an enjoyable evening!!!!
As always, Maria and the staff provided the perfect dining experience. Love this place!
Has the ambiance of a neighborhood bar. Arrived early and was accepted as a regular by the bar patrons. Sat for dinner and was well taken care of, and as patrons arrived we found that every one else were regulars (but very friendly). The Manager checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was going well, and it was a fantastic experience!
