   I'll give this restaurant a negative star if I can... Service - asked the waiter for a paper napkin...never came, had to ask twice ordered a second drink...never came...had to ask again after 15 minutes I ordered Grilled Pork Chop...that dish does not come with any carbs...it's a salty dish that should traditionally come with either rice or noodles...i ordered a side order of noodle (rice vermicelli)...they brought out a few bites of noodles and I had to order a second portion b/c it was so small...then the bill came out... YOU CHARGED ME $3 for a few strands of noodles??!!! a TOTAL of $6... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Pathetic attempt to overcharge your customer(s)??!! Why, because you're in BELLEVUE? Whatever it is...the charges were unacceptable...it's not the $6, it's the principle...a salty meal without carbs should come with either rice or noodles for $30. and worst, the SERVER did not informed me that it will be a $3 charge for a few strands of noodles! I would have not ordered! Management, please review... Future customers, please be aware...

   I was seated at the bar when i booked a 4 seat table, right by the door, on a very cold night. The waiter was aloof and not attentive at all. The food took a while to come to the table. I had a wet napkin on my plate. the table next to me dropped a glass of red wine all over me..... no one offered to help clean where it spilt all over my seat. When they did come, they cleaned the glass, but not fully. My clothes and boots were covered in red wine. Neither the restaurant or the women who spilt it cared........The food is great and I like the ambiance, but I was so disappointed in everything else. Really shocking customer service.

   The service misses the mark at the Bellevue location, I've been to this location twice and was disappointed with the service both times. Both times the drink order was mixed up. The last time I was there, we were given a table for 2 because our 3rd person was running 15 minutes late. The hostess said "since our third wasn't here, she can sit us at a 2 seat table and then move us. There were plenty of table open when we arrived at 6:30 and there were still plenty of tables open when we left at 9:30.

   We enjoyed our meal, the food was fabulous....hot, fresh and bursting with flavors. We look forward to going again! A neighborhood gem indeed! The restaurant is warm, inviting and classy. Our server was friendly and quick with his service. We'll definitely be back.

   Went with a friend for Seattle Restaurant Week. Fast & attentive service, varied selection of interesting & delicious cocktails, and outstanding pork belly.

   It's time to ignore the construction and head to Monsoon, on Main Street in "Old" Bellevue. There's free parking around the corner and the food is delicious. My husband and I randomly found ourselves there for Happy Hour a couple of weeks ago, and I was really glad we did. Amazingly reasonable prices for large portions, and my margarita was great. A few days later I had lunch there with a friend, and we both raved about the meal. Ingredients are super fresh, the flavors are flawless and the prices extremely reasonable. For lunch dessert, we shared the creme caramel and it was an A+. Our server was attentive and pleasant, and the food arrived quickly. Great for business or pleasure. Highly recommended.

   We had a positive experience dining at the Seattle Monsoon years ago and thought we would try the one in Bellevue. Overall the food was mediocre. The crispy imperial rolls were just OK, the bok choy with lobster mushrooms struck us as bland, the lemon grass prawns were OK and the whole branzino was dry. It was our anniversary and I was looking forward to a memorable meal. There are much better places to go in the International District for tasty Vietnamese cuisine. This place has lovely decor, however the food falls short.

   Hadn't been for a while but still as good as ever. Never disappoints! Excellent food. Excellent service and wait staff!

    We had a wonderful experience, great food and service and elegant ambiance. We'll be back. One small problem: apparently there was msg in the food, probably in the eggplant dish? (which was my favorite). I could not sleep at all after eating there. I am very sensitive to msg.
