We've dined here many times and the experience could not have been worse. Two large loud parties going on, and another just ended. Kitchen was backed up, we waited almost 45 minutes for our food, server came back one time to say it would be a few minutes and then never showed up again. My halibut was overdone and the sauce was not as described. It will be a long time before I go back.

We love this place, the food, the drinks, the service. Just wish the bar had a wall between it and the restaurant as it can get a bit noisy…but no so much to keep us away.

The chicken and waffle sandwich was a very nice portion. My friend's challah French toast was well presented and stuffed with jam. But my plate came with one slice of toast and a teeny omelette with minimal ingredients inside. The plate looked barren. I left hungry and disappointed given previous great experiences. Suggestion: stick with the brunch special even though the price went up 20%.

We were sat right away, and the restaurant is inundated with Marilyn Monroe paraphernalia, and even her movies on the TVs which work in a couple of different spots in the restaurant. I thought that was really cute. There was not a lot of people in the dining room on Saturday night at 7:45 but it is the summer. For apps we had the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, which were a bit different, but tasty. We had the fried calamari with Thai chili sauce, which tasted like the Thai chili sauce from restaurant depot which I like, so it was OK but I feel like it should’ve been tossed onto the calamari and not served on the side. We also got a side of their red sauce, which was good with the calamari so we ordered the chicken Parmesan, which was so disappointing. The sauce on the chicken Parmesan tasted like tomato soup. We would have preferred the red sauce that came with the calamari. We also got the Pappardelle ragu. The pasta was over cooked for my taste, and the sauce was super oily. We had dessert and got the brownie, which we thought was very tiny and flat, but it tasted OK. We also got the pecan pie, which looked like one of those tiny little round pies they sell in the grocery store for $.75 which seemed like it was microwaved, the crust was gluey and it tasted terrible. I was glad it came with ice cream. The service was good.

The service was great even though a new waitress was shadowing our waiter. The place is beautiful but loud & crowded on a Saturday night. Food was excellent though my salad was a ridiculous amount of lettuce (probably not something I should be complaining about!). I love Monroe’s & like to go there a lot.

Went for Sunday brunch food was just ok. The french dip was good but fries cold, the avocado toast with salmon was good but i would have like a small side…It was so loud we couldn’t have a decent conversation. The mimosa was served in a lack luster manner as there was a bottomless choice, but we chose to have a single drink we thought it would have served nicer. Will try again as the staff was nice.

The food was phenomenal, although I did make my reservation through Open Table they did not have it when I arrived, but were still able to seat us. The only negative part was we were seated right by the kitchen so continuous in and out by the staff was a bit distracting.

Service was wonderful and we went for TACO Night. Outstanding. Food fresh and delicious, best Margaritas too! Staff are super warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend. Its our group of friends "place to be" when we get together. Regular menu is terrific too, prices very reasonable.

We enjoy coming here for brunch! There's a terrific brunch special at a reasonable price. Happy to see that they are now crowded for brunch. When asked how one wants their eggs, they must come out that way. Eggs over medium should still be a little runny and not yolk hard. My friend was very happy with her raspberry filled French toast with fresh fruit And scrambled eggs were perfect!

It was our first time there, and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere is very pleasant, managers, walk around frequently to check to see how everything is, or if you need anything, cannot rave enough about the lemon, ricotta, pancakes! They were outstanding! We will definitely go back and try other items on the menu. Very fair price point.

Came here for brunch as we were in the area and had read prior reviews. Really hard to understand the good reviews. Food was adequate at best. French toast was dry and slightly burned. I’m guessing people liked the $10 unlimited mimosas because other than that I don’t understand why else you’d return here for brunch. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Great restaurant in Westbury. My kid had the Mac and cheese out of this world. I had the Monroe burger cooked to perfection and extremely flavorful. Can't remember what my wife ordered but it was great. Also very friendly staff and overall great atmosphere and I will definitely be back.

This is not my first time eating Brunch at Monroe’s. Unfortunately, it was not a great experience. Food, as always, was delicious, and the value is great. This time, we were a party of 6. 4 of the breakfasts came in a reasonable time. We were told the other 2 would be out “momentarily“. Minutes passed, we asked again, told again any time now. It was probably more than from 15 minutes later that the last two breakfasts were delivered; the 4 who had received their breakfasts were finished eating. No coincidence that they arrived after one in our party complained to the owner. They apologized profusely and made an adjustment to the bill but it made for an uncomfortable experience.

My sister and aunt took me out to celebrate my birthday for brunch and we had the best time. Our waiter was SO attentive and kept the delicious Bellinis refilled at all times. The French toast was the thickest I've ever eaten in my life but somehow it was perfectly cooked the whole way through, not soggy in the center and not overdone.

We've been here several times and they never disappoint. Great menu choices, especially the Poke bowls!! The tuna was terrific. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and truly delicious. A neighborhood gem!!! I must add that the service was excellent!!

I was expecting a little better service since there were only four tables occupied in the restaurant. Food was eh, service was eh. Waitress was nice but one waitress brought the uncooked food. Raw lamb. Another waitress brought the wrong order. Fish was over cooked. Had to ask for water a few times. Had to ask for silverware. Dessert was good.

Ate here on Saturday night for a multiple bday dinner - table of 8. I can't say enough good things about this place. The food was amazing. Everyone's dish was delicious. Our waiter was extremely cordial and had us laughing all night. The owner brought the birthday boys a special homemade orange liquor which was out of this world. Can't wait to dine here again. Thank you for a great night!

My wife and I went for brunch and it was terrific. We had the brunch special of eggs, one pancake, home fries and coffee which was delicious and priced at only $12.95! They also offer unlimited mimosas, etc. for only $10.00. Service was spot on. The only slight drawback is that there are no windows which takes away from the ambiance.
