One of the best places I’ve eaten. It’s not just the fabulous food but the service staff is family. They are all there to help you. Trish was our server last night. She had wonderful recommendations on the featured wine and specials. She knows the menu and continued the family feel that we love some much. As always, the food was amazing. We had the new pork pate appetizer and the steak salad.

Second time getting the pork tenderloin. It is prepared so delicately, never dry, with a sauce that is not overpowering and extremely tasty. It was a tough choice because last visit I had the filet which was also incredible. Don't drive past this place. Go in and experience the cuisine!

As longtime diners at Monocacy Crossing restaurant, who lived in the Villages of Urbana when we first frequented the restaurant but now live in South Central PA, we were there to celebrate just as a couple our 50th Anniversary, as our son has planned a big family and friends celebration. As usual, the service was provided by a very friendly, attentive and helpful young man, the food was outstanding and we love the quaint ambiance of the restaurant. We highly recommend Monocacy Crossing restaurant!

My parents and I re-discovered this hidden gem, and we had a fantastic brunch today. Our server Kaelyn C. was lovely and attentive. It was very busy, and it took a while for our food to arrive, but we understood the brunch rush and were more than happy to wait for the food, especially since it was all so delicious. The breakfast burrito, chicken biscuit, and the smoked salmon Benedict were fantastic, and we can't wait to go back!

Disappointed: I ordered their "special" beef and pork pate and it was a slab from a loaf - nothing special about it. I also ordered the special swordfish with chimichurri sauce. The fish was overcooked, and I the sauce didn't seem to be a good accompaniment. My wife had buttermilk chicken which she liked.

Monocacy Crossing never disappoints. We just had drinks and apps - apps so good we didn’t have room for entrees. Olivia’s service was stellar.

Great food! Chad our server was excellent. Really great menu and all 4 of us were delighted with the food. Drinks were also great…nice summer cocktail selection. We didn’t like where we were seated at first and they were very nice to re-seat us. The back room with the mirrors was a little too cool but would have been great if we had brought sweaters. It’s also quieter there.

I've been dining at Monocacy Crossing for over 20 years, from the beginning the restaurant served quaility food, exceptional service and a wonderful and comfortable atmostpher, and 20 years later they are still doing the same. I always choose to sit in the small, intimate dining room next to the window, it has an antique wood stove which they light in the winter. If you want more action then I suggest eating in their new bar area, it is gorgeous, sitting at the bar or at one of the high top tables is a perfect way to enjoy an afternoon or evening. For those who would prefer neither, then the outside seating might be more to your liking, which ever you choose you can't go wrong. The menu has a little bit for everyone, and without exception is excellent! Go ahead try them if you haven't already. I'll be making my next reservation soon!
