We were very disappointed in our experience. It took us 15min to get a water after the first one had stuff floating in it. It took 15min to get drinks (I had to walk to the bar to get them myself) and our server was obviously overwhelmed. A table even walked out on her. The manager ended up taking over our table and she was very nice. The bartender was rude and slammed a drink at me. Then our steaks both came out rare when we asked for med rare and while they were being re done the server showed up for the first time since the manager took over and asked if we wanted dessert- we hadn’t eaten our food yet. Lol Scallop appetizer was amazing as usual. Wish I could leave a better review but I cant. I believe the manager should had done more for us considering all of the above. Oh and we were celebrating our Mother Day (2 wks late) and I wont be using this spot for any special occasion as it ruined ours.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. Made a reservation days in advance to celebrate our 24th Anniversary. We arrived right on time and were seated right away; pleased to see the Happy Anniversary sign on the table. Then things went downhill. It was busy (Holiday weekend) and they may have been short staffed. The service was poor; we sat for over 30 minutes with almost no attention from the waitress, who seemed very flustered and distracted (perhaps she was managing too many tables). It being our anniversary, also having to manage food and wine allergies, to prevent a bad situation from getting worse, we decided to leave without even ordering food, just paid for our drinks. Thankfully, the Manager called later and apologized, which we appreciate very much. I've worked in the restaurant business for many years and know how hard it can be to retain competent staff, keep the business going and meet all customers' expectations. I hope we can find the time to try having a meal there sometime in the future. But this was a bad experience.

Booked this reservation weeks in advance to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. We arrived on time and were seated in a busy thoroughfare near the entrance to the dining area and where servers were busy getting wine, etc ... Not intimate or romantic spot even though there was another open 2 top table in the proper dining area which was not crowded. Ironically our table had a happy anniversary card on it. I was not happy and a bit upset as we were looking forward to the evening. When I approached the hostess stand and asked for the manager, the woman there, who had not seated us previously, said she was the manager. I said I was not happy. She said she did not like my tone and it did not go well. She, if she was the manager, did not say she wanted to make it right but got extremely defensive very quickly. I was upset and angry. She said I was "disrespecting" her and again my tone! We left. So thank you Monocacy Crossing for ruining our anniversary and not caring about your customers. I guess you don't think you need to make the customer happy. They should grovel and kiss butt just to get in your door.

Very under whelming. Husband and I both came home and had horrible stomach issues, which we believe is from the crab dip. His fish was over cooked and my beef was just ehh. Waitress was very" what do you want here's your food, bye kinda attitude. The whole experience was very just ehh at best.

Sat across from the kitchen entrance - in and of it self that’s totally fine. But the white door was FILTHY. Covered top and bottom with black marked from shoes/hands. Not great when the staff were touching it and then our glasses, plates, utensils. Server greeted us after a short while, relayed the specials, came back for our order and then did not come back again until quite a while after we were completely finished eating. We were going to order more food. Food was absolutely delish but the portions of the meals 2 of us ordered were quite small. We stopped on the way home for fast food as we were still hungry. I ordered the scallops - again DELISH - received 5 scallops, a standard serving of green beans but only maybe 1/4 cup rice. Fried ordered the Salmon, so so good but also a rather small portion of rice. Bacon wrapped filet was a generous portion of fried potatoes, two eggs, eggs English muffin, and of course the fillets. Also very good. The noise level was *very* high in the room we were seated in. We all had to lean way in and raise our voices almost to a yell to be heard across the table. Food is great but plan on ordering additional items IF you can find your server and sit outside on the patio (which looked absolutely lovely) so you can hear the people in your party.

The crispy deviled eggs with crab and the goat cheese fritters were wonderful, but the scallops were greasy and the shrimp and grits were meh. Service was fine, but overall our experience wasn't great. Probably won't return.
