A wonderful surprise to find such an outstanding venue. Our luncheon entrees were superb; inside tables spaced well apart; cross ventilation appreciated and a very pleasant waitress. To top it all off, a complimentary (and delicious) dessert in honor of a birthday. We will be back!!

Our waitress was initially polite/courteous. She did not check back often enough and was obviously flustered when we waved her down (very politely) for drink refills. It was not even busy. After that she was quite quiet and rude. No thank you, no good evening, nothing. Just brought the receipt/card out, turned and left. Sort of a "don't let the door hit you on the way out" attitude.

Delicious food. Been there just 3 times, never disappointed. Have always sat outside. I do not know what the interior is like. I’ve heard that it is quite nice.

Enjoyed a quiet Sunday lunch/dinner at 3pm when the dinner menu starts. My BF enjoyed his fried chicken breast and we shared the deviled eggs with crab meat. He's a trained chef so loved trying a new prep of the eggs, which were fried and the filling and sauce made it special. I had the scallops which were prepared very well, although the sauce had a bit too much onion for my taste. Service was great and it wasn't very noisy even with the football game on the telly in the bar area next door.
The weather was good so the patio was full for social distancing but we enjoyed being in the front dining room where there were only 2 other tables in use. Located just south of Frederick, it was a nice drive out into the MD farm lands which seems to be rapidly developing.

We have been going often because of the outdoor seating. The food is always good and a good value. This time however I was a little disappointed with our server. There was a long wait to order and some things came out cold. We had to keep trying to get her attention every time. This is the first time the service has been subpar.

Even in these goofy times we call 2020, an excellent meal can still be found. The fried and hard boiled egg appetizer is a pleasant surprise despite the unusual combination. The filet was cooked to perfection.

Monocacy Crossing has a great space both indoors and out. They are very diligent about keeping the space clean and safe. Staff is friendly and fun and the food is delicious. Great selection from “snacks” to entrees and desserts.

ALL my outings to Monocacy Crossing have been wonderful experiences, be it Sunday Brunch, lunches or dinners, by my guests and and myself. Friendly service, wonderful food, plenty of parking and more. It's a great local restaurant with world class appeal.

My FAVORITE ALL TIME restaurant - even though it's an hour away, well worth the drive. Great food, a good selection of wine, pleasant atmosphere, just an awesome place to spend the evening or a Sunday brunch.

The patio at Monocacy crossing is always great. The good and service never disappoint. I try to eat outside there as the inside dining seems more “elderly” and the outside seems more “youthful”.

An outstanding resturant and a great value for the money spent....the crispy deviled eggs were wonderful with a HUGE lump of crab meat on each one....I (and I shared with my wife and daughter) especially liked the Grilled Romaine Hearts with Caesar Dressing and Parmesan Shavings salad.....was surprised by the pickled onions, but it was a huge surprise as they were great...

I had the Veal and Pork Bolognese over Fresh Pappardelle Pasta.....I've had something similar in Bologna and this was as good or better.....My wife had the Halibut and was glad that the asked for the sauce on the side as she decided to just ditch the sauce as the fish was juicy and tender and sweet tasting on it's own...the greens were done just as she likes with only a hint of "butter" on them. and combined with the spaetzle she was really impressed ...My daughter had the braised short ribs and had to take a doggie bag home.

We followed the recommendation of our server "Becca" on the Pinot and it was excellent...so much so, we ordered another bottle!!

Great experience that will have us coming back again.....

Three of us sat at a table in the new back room.
UNFORTUNATELY, there was a table of six LOUD women behind us. So noisy that we couldn’t hear our server, and barely ourselves.
SO RUDE—and these were professional, middle- aged women. Just awful.
After they left we joked about it with the customers at another table who were also appalled.
The server did say that he would’ve moved us to a table in the other room but none available.
HOPE YOU RUDE FATMOUTHED women are reading this. Disgusting.

We love sitting on the patio! This past Wednesday, we had the lovely Alexa as our server.
Even though my husband doesn't like mushrooms, he ordered the Burger and Brew.
I wasn't in the mood for a burger so I got my usual, the Scallops in in bacon vinaigrette. Always wonderful. The sweet heat hushpuppies were good, too. And I got his mushrooms!
Alexa suggested I get the mashed potatoes so I did. Since they weren't all that hot, I was going to take them home when Alexa said she would bring some hot potatoes out, which was very nice. I ate them all!

It was our anniversary and everything was great. I ordered a steak and my wife ordered Shrimp and scallops. My steak was cooked to perfection in the manner I requested. My spouses shrimp and scallops were also delicious. Our order including an appetizer was served when we were ready and our server came by multiple times to make sure everything was okay. We left very happy.

Most tender flank steak ever, achieved with a very tasty marinade, and served with lovely tomato and arugula salad and super crispy, super thin shoestring potatoes. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We have dined here many times and have never had anything less than a delicious meal.
Covid safety measures are observed with patio tables very widely spaced. There is not much good weather left for outdoor dining so GO SOON. The diningrooms are spacious so social distancing is certainly possible. The Regans will no doubt continue to do their best to keep their clients and staff Covid-safe. The food and service are almost worth the indoor-dining risk.

The place is much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. The food was great (crispy deviled eggs "unbelievable"), sweet heat hushpuppies, our entrees were delicious as well. Of course, don't forget the drinks, try the Sangria "wow"! Last but not least, the service: I can't recall his name, but he made some great recommendations and was very knowledgeable of the menu items. We will definitely be returning!
