Upscale with a vast wine selection! The cheese plate, scallops, and crispy deviled eggs with crab were superb!

Will be back!

When we pulled up I wasn't sure what to expect from this place located in what appeared to be an old but very large house. However, the food here was spectacular and the service was top notch. Plenty of on site parking. Everything we had was great, the artichoke beignets, the rueben egg roll, the burger, the chicken breast - all great! Also, it was crowded but despite that the noise level was very reasonable.

My husband had the pork tenderloin and I had the beef medallions. They were both done perfectly and tasted fantastic.

It is located at an historic site, in an out of the way location. The food, service and ambiance are excellent. I highly recommend it.

Waited too long for service. Some of the food was good, but ordered a chicken sandwich and the meat was rubbery. Also came for brunch, since it is often recommended and was disappointed so much of the brunch menu was more lunch food and little breakfast options. Sat outside and traffic was very noisy. Not the experience I was expecting from this restaurant.

We truly welcomed excellent bread and butter when it arrived, entrees were delicious . Grumbles: although the crab dip was one of the best recently sampled the floppy pita was less than it deserved why not add carrots and celery to supple the necessary crunch!?
Steaks, dinner burger and pork tenderloin all delicious. Coffee good, raspberry almond torte very disappointing, tasted synthetic.

There was a large group celebrating something and the noise level was extremely high. Staff was upset but unwilling to do anything.

This was one of several visits to Monocacy Crossing, this time with new friends. We were greeted warmly and our server, Rosa, whom we had requested, was outstanding. Prices were reasonable and wine list was appropriate.
We will return

They have unique menu options, plate presentation is eye appealing, and the entrees are scrumptious. I from md it difficult to select just one item off the menu so I order three or more appetizers. The Mexican Corn Cobs, Fried Deviled Eggs, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Cesar Salad are a few of my favs.

Our server, Erin, was delightful and eager to please to ensure a positive dinning experience.

As for ambiance, I gave it 3 stars due to the quantity of flies surrounding our table. I deliberately made our reservation for an indoor table to avoid bugs. It was annoying to be swatting flies while eating. And the noise level was high, possibly due to it being Friday evening and COVID regulations lifted. Hard to have conversation.

Arrived on time at 2 and got a table right away . Felt that the waitress was rushing us to finish though. After 2:30 she kept pushing to clear plates, asking if we were finished (we weren't) and if we wanted a take away box. When she brought coffee a significant amount of was sloshed in the saucer that I had to clean up with my napkin so coffee wouldnt be dripping from the bottom of the cup. Then she was asking if I was done with my coffee after only a few minutes. Been to Monocacy crossing many times and always has a good experience in the past. This particular waitress pretty much ruined the experience yestetday.

I really enjoyed our dining experience. We sat at a high top table facing the patio. The service was excellent. The food was very good. I ordered the ahi tuna tacos, the tuna was a little overcooked and the didn't use corn tortillas but otherwise they were tasty. It was a destination restaurant for us, I would likely try their Sunday brunch if we decided to go again.

It was a rainy night, so we could night enjoy the patio seating. However the high top tables at the bar were great for a date night atmosphere. The food was satisfying and the service was on point. We are looking forward to returning again soon.

Love Monocacy Crossing. I frequent the restaurant regularly. My only concern is the limit on the tables outside especially when there is live music. Many times I feel rushed to finish my appetizer and meal before the time limit is up. I understand needing to turn over the tables during Covid but with things fully open again. It’s difficult to have the time limit especially when people want to listen to the music.

Excellent food and ambiance. Looking forward to going again. Prices very reasonable.

The salmon was fantastic! Moist, baked to perfection. Excellent wines and moderately priced. The coconut pound cake was incredible.

The restaurant is a true gem. We got there at 6PM and when we left, the place was hopping.

We live in Rockville, and have mined pretty much all of the local and North Bethesda and Bethesda restaurants. So we decided to go in a different direction, and pleasantly surprised at that. We will be back.

Last night was my wife and my first time having dinner at Monocacy Crossing and it was great! The service and ambiance comparable to any upscale restaurant in the region. The food was nothing less than exquisite and would satisfy the most safisticated palette with its array of appetizing options.

We're definitely going back and recommending it to all of our friends.
