Monocacy Crossing
We had a beautiful experience. The atmosphere is close and cozy but COVID had folks spread out. Reservations arehighly suggested
My first visit in January 2021. Plenty of parking, quite location outside of Frederick. We really enjoyed our food. The customer service was great, will be back for sure.
The food was delicious. Will definitely return!
Fantastic as usual
We try to eat here at least once a week, not only to support local businesses, but because we love it! The food is always excellent and the people are terrific. We only eat outdoors since the pandemic, but even with the temperatures in the low 40s, we were still cozy with all the new heaters they have on the patio. I recommend bringing a blanket to put on the metal chairs, but definitely recommend you try it - especially if you are looking to dine outside and still have great food and nice ambience.
Our waitress was fantastic! Great food and great service!
Had a wonderful New Years Eve Dinner. Glad we chose Monocacy Crossing.
New Year’s Eve dinner was fabulous. Best pork tenderloin I’ve ever had!
Our favorite restaurant remains consistently wonderful.
We went to celebrate our 36th anniversary. Our meal was delicious and the only complaint what’s the noise level.
great food and staff well trained and build too.......
My wife and I have been coming here since we moved here in 1999. The food is always fantastic. We have never had a bad meal here. We highly recommend trying them if you are in the area.
Had an amazing time. Stop by after a ski trip on the way back home.
So glad we found this amazing place! Food was amazing and on point, can compete with too of the line restaurants.
Menu had enough options in it and included specials too.
They follow COVID instructions very well and carefully.
Everything tasted fresh, server was very nice and accommodating, Sangria was super strong!!!
We heard they were considering to close so try to support this place even by doing take-out!
Always a wonderful experience and food was on point! Server was kind and friendly!
We absolutely love Monocacy Crossing and eat here as often as we can. Food is always fresh and perfectly prepared. Large portions and such a value . Service always excellent. Desserts are to die for. Great folks who own it and run it.
Service and food AMAZING! Social distancing is enforced and all employees wore masks. Cleaned each and every area immediately after a guests departure. Very friendly and attentive service. We'll definitely be back.
We sat on the patio for lunch. Food was amazing; my gluten-free friend had a huge GF menu to choose from. Our server Candace was attentive and lovely. It was refreshing to still be able to sit on a patio even in December!
The outdoor patio is beautiful. Lovely setting. Friendly staff, slow service. The simpler food is better. More complex dishes were oddly filled with ingredients not listed on the menu.
My wife and I have passed this place on multiple times and have never been able to stop until this past Sunday. Between the attentive staff and delicious food I can say Monocacy Crossing is now a permanent part of our ate night rotation!
My first trip and it will be my last, nice setting, great food, especially for the price
Short ribs and sangria are out of this world!
Servers and wait staff were very careful about wearing masks and using sanitizer throughout the night. Service and food very good as usual.
It was a little cold but the heaters were great. The food was delicious and Alexa was wonderful. Attentive and efficient. I've been a fan for 10 plus years. Love the bar upgrade.
Wonderful place, homey, friendly staff, great service, highly recommended
The food is consistently good, menu is a bit limited for dinner. A good option for brunch or lunch.
Amazing as usual. The food is always delicious and the people friendly. We love coming here because it feels like home. I love the neighborhood vibe. We always see people we know and the owners give this place TLC and the personal touch. It means everything. Everything on the menu is top-notch. Order the Ned if you love a crisp tasty white Sav Blanc and the dirty martinis are my favorite anywhere!
thank you Rich and Kelly we love you -- Paul and Sue Hynes
Always very good experience
The Maryland Crab Soup is absolutely outstanding. My bride delved into the Whisky Duck Nachos which she thoroughly enjoyed. Service was great and they had solid beers on tap.
Everyone in the place was super friendly, especially our server. Very welcoming! We love how it felt like coming home for a visit. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The crispy deviled egg appetizer is a MUST try. I could cut the bacon wrapped filet with my fork, and was apprehensive about trying it over the porcini bread pudding but, OMG! I’m a NEW fan of bread pudding. John’s Ancho rubbed grilled New York strip was exquisitely portrayed and even better to eat. We didn’t make it to dessert because we couldn’t stop eating our meals. Next time! I can’t say enough about the service - impeccable! Don’t miss out on this gem.
Patio heaters were awesome! The food and service were outstanding as usual.
Been going here for years. My favorite restaurant of all time and it isn’t even close.
As the same with our previous experience here, we were very satisfied. The bartender, Marsha, was very friendly and attentive.
The service It was excellent, the price it was less what I was expected. The food was delicious and I'm going back.
The food is always excellent as is the service. I was only a little disappointed with the wine glasses as they all had a lot of water spots on them. I just think that at a very nice restaurant, the glasses should be spotless. We've never had this issue in the past.
We have been here twice and all 4 of us have been thrilled with our choices. I highly recommend it!
Great food and service. They are also very, very invested in customer safety and following the rules set by the state and county.
Our server was fantastic & the food was great!!
Awesome as always! Steak was to die for! Scalloped delicious!
We were so amazed at the selection on the menu and such creative entrees! Highly recommend Monocacy Crossing for an evening of incredible dining. The Coconut Pound Cake is their signature dessert and worth saving room for!
We appreciated how informed the server Becca was regarding the menu. She offered excellent choices and service.
