Monocacy Crossing is one of my favorite places to eat. We go for our anniversary or just to go. We went this past with my sister & her husband. It was a great time getting to see my family and catching up

We try to drive out here a few times a year and always have a wonderful dining experience. This is one of the first restaurants we tried Post-Covid and were very satisfied with the restaurant’s strict observance of social distancing, masks, etc. We went for my birthday and decided to visit again two weeks later for our anniversary. We requested to be in Cheryls section as she is a favorite of ours, so easily friendly and professional as only a seasoned waitperson can be. Both occasions I tried the fish special: seared salmon one night and seared tuna the next. Both were excellent with creative and complementary sides and flavors. The quality of the fish was outstanding. Generous portions so needed a box for me because you have to leave room for dessert here! My husband said the shrimp and grits were superior to the dish in one of our favorite southern restaurants! This is a delightful out of the way gem!

Sunday lunch at Monocacy Crossing is our favorite place to go after church every weekend. Love the staff & food. It’s always a great experience. Patio dining is an added bonus on a nice day.

I expected a nicer ambience, especially when the website states “business casual”. Disappointed in how most were dressed, must be a local thing? The food was really good so we’d go back for that, but we would dress in shorts and flip flops. Sorry if anyone is offended, but we are new to the east coast! Just getting the hang of things!

We were celebrating our anniversary and Monocacy Crossing offers a unique menu and nice setting. Sat outside and that was a must for us for comfort. Tables were well spaced. Service was great and food was delicious. The duck nachos were a great starter. We had the pork bolognese and a burger. Both had nice flavor and presentation. Decent drink menu selection for beer and wine. We look forward to going back again.

We had a wonderful time! The outdoor seating on the patio was well distanced and our waitress, Alexa, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly and fun but never overbearing! We very much enjoyed the food and our time out here! We had the duck nachos, wedge salad with shrimp, salmon, and dessert was the special blueberry shortbread panna cotta in a martini glass! All perfection as were our drinks. Perfect summer outing!

Everything that evening was perfect. Our waiter was the best, I don’t remember his name. We enjoying dining outdoors, and your tables were well spaced apart. The food I save for last: It was the best meal we have ever had at Monocacy Crossing.

Nice date night. Food was great and nice presentations. Wait staff station should be confined to one person at a time in light of CO-VID. Otherwise a memorable meal.

We love your restaurant. Food and service are exceptional.
So here is the test if you actually read your reviews.
We were extremely concerned when your staff let a family enter the restaurant without proper face covering. There are numerous signs asking patrons to wear face mask.
The customer refused saying they had no mask. Which should have been enough to refuse them service. But no.
In they go. Endangering all of the patrons around them.
We are sorry but it will be awhile before we will be returning

TimK We ask all patrons to wear masks. We do our best and take all guidelines very seriously. We offer guests paper masks when they do not have them. Perhaps you should not judge what you do not know or live with in dealing with strong willed and sometimes very angry people on a daily basis during these very volatile times. .Sorry you will not be back any time soon.

Before we sat at our table we were placed at a high top table, outside where my pants were stained from the chair, disappointing🙈
Also , this was not the first time my pants were stained, at Monocacy

Simply wonderful - we truly enjoyed the appetizers, main courses, and desserts. High point — the crab dip and deviled eggs; to be honest, every item was delicious. The outdoor dining was lovely and we enjoyed the background music that was not too loud - just the right sound level. This was our first visit to Monocacy Crossing and will definitely return. Lastly, the bill was super reasonable in light of all the food we ate.

It was outstanding. It’s, quite frankly, always outstanding. We’re very particular about dining out - if it isn’t the whole package (good food, good service, good ambience, good value) then we don’t go - but this is a place we come to again and again.

This would have been a lot better except for the music choice. The patio was pleasant, nicely socially distanced, and it was a beautiful night. The music choice was a sharp contrast to the rest of the ambiance. There were screeching guitar solos and just odd obtrusive songs that really took away from the enjoyment of the meal in a peaceful setting.
