My husband and I went here for the first time for a special dinner. Starting with the hostess and ending with finishing our dinner, our experience was 5 star! Our server was very knowledgeable and made wonderful suggestions when asked about various dishes. This restaurant will definitely be on our “go to” places for a nice dinner out! Thank you for making our night perfect.

Made a reservation for a group of friends and they all thanked me for picking such a good place. The fish special was fantastic. The waitress was fantastic as well.

I really wanted to like the food but it just wasn't good. The crab dip had a weird smoke flavor. I had a salad which was a plate of field greens with a few tomato slivers. The meatball was just ok but not really good. I also had avocado toast and it has very little flavor. Just an avocado on bread but no other flavors. It was more like diner food than fine dining. Outstanding service.

We had such a great meal and experience at our first visit to this restaurant. Occasion was a landmark family celebration. Service was stellar and food fantastic. We enjoyed every dish we ordered, but the scallops with bacon vinegrette was the best ever and the coconut pound cake made us swoon. Every member of the staff genuinely wanted us to have a memorable evening. They delivered with courtesy and grace. Thank you!

I thought the food was very good, and we were all happy with our meals. We were seated in a side room off in the corner, so I think it would have been a more enjoyable experience if we were in the main area. There is no kids menu and the regular menu is difficult to manage for kids. That would be the only thing I would change. If we brought our daughter again, I think I'd have to bring her own food.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I have to now. My wife and I were looking forward to our first time eating at Monocacy Crossing, but it was a let-down. The food was gourmet and decent depth of flavor and presentation, but the service was terrible. After our food was brought out, we were never checked on. We paid with a $50 gift certificate, which was not picked up for 10 minutes even though our server was in the area and saw us put the payment in the folder. She continued to replace table cloths on some of the tables around us and seemingly prepare for a "shift change". Our bill was finally picked up, which was $49.04, but then the server came back and said, "Your gift card covered your bill" and then walked away. She did not offer to give us the card back with remaining money or say have a nice day. The light above us was flickering on and off the entire time as well. I am not a picky person but Monocacy Crossing did not live up to the reputation that my parent's gave it.

We have been going to Monocacy Crossing for years. The food is always good, the menu offers many options and there are always good specials. We especially enjoy sitting outside in the spring, summer and early fall. The employees are outstanding: friendly and provide excellent service.

Great Sunday brunch at reasonable prices with $10 off bottles of wine and champagne. Great outdoor patio seating in the warmer months. Good service. Will definitely return.

I had the special filet with crab cake. the crab cake had way too much filler, and the filet was not firm like it should be.

There were 4 of us. 3 of the dinners were excellent. I had the sea bass. A bit slimy and was sick the next day. I should not have eaten it but didn’t think I would get bad food there. First time in twenty years.

Excellent food, service and experience at Monocacy Crossing. Scallops and shrimp with risotto was amazing as was the grilled hearts of romaine salad. The pork loin was also delicious.

What a pleasure to find this spot. Good, comforting food without being fussy. We ordered 3 different appetizers and three different entrees, each was delicious, simple and perfect for a rainy evening. I also love that the wine is 10 bucks off if you get the bottle.

This was our second time here. I was hesitant to go because of the pricing. The staff and food is awesome. They are way overpriced for the amount of food you get. I had the crab cakes which taste wise were incredible, they were how ever very small (medium). For the price I paid I would have expected much larger crab cakes. Our waitress was awesome and very knowledgeable. My friend had a shrimp dish that was also expensive and the amount of shrimp was laughable. I do like the atmosphere and service but it seems like that is what you pay for there, not the food. I will not go back unless they adjust their prices or serving size.

We were a party of 11 and it seemed everyone's salmon was a bit under cooked. However it was delicious. One of the pregnant ladies sent hers back for the babies health in eating undercook fish. We all thought that if salmon is being served it should be ask how you would like it prepared. But overall everything was outstanding!!!

Early dinner after seeing a choral performance in the area. Our second visit to Monocacy Crossing. My wife enjoyed her beef medallions and especially her lemon drop martini. I had the crab cake special. Will come back for a third visit soon.
