Highlight of this experience was definitely the staff - so attentive and friendly, and each of them said happy birthday to my mum which was really lovely! Food was great value and really delicious. Great ambience with a DJ playing some nice chilled house music. Prosecco was a little expensive and bumped up our pre theatre meal quite a lot! Other than that, would definitely recommend.
Second time here and the food is always delicious. Nice dj muisic a bit. Too loud for some but I get it
Great food, lovely atmosphere and ambience. Staff very attentive, welcoming and informative. Good service and delivery of food. Shame we couldn't have the theatre menu on a Saturday
Four of us met for a lazy Saturday lunch. We all ordered a couple of plates each to start with, that we all shared. The food was excellent and created that lovely buzz of conversation and excitment that you get with great Tapas and other sharing foods. As meat lovers the Signature smoked lamb cutlets and the Sliced beef tenderloin anticucho both deserved the second round of orders they received, though I also really enjoyed the Sea Bass ceviche and Robata corn on the cob. After the third round of orders we were all pleasantly full.
Like the A La Carte menu, we tried a few diferent bottles from the wine list, and like the A La Carte menu you can't really go wrong with any of the choices.
The service was excellent throughout.
Very nice, unusual combination of foods. Thoroughly enjoyed. Good service with a smile. Will go again
Excellent food; service was impeccable. A great place for an evening with friends.
Professional, attentive service. Food was interesting and very tasty with an adequate selection. The cocktails a little different which made a nice change. Love the idea of sharing different plates of food.
Great food, excellent service by Stan.
Hard to find as its not where the address says it is - we were about to abandon it as a spoof till we waked passed it
Was an amazing evening
Great food and atmosphere
We’ll come back again for sure
Excellent food and good, friendly service. Bit noisy at times but overall a great place to go and I’ll definitely return.
My husband and I were in London on vacation from California and enjoyed a wonderful
post-theatre meal at this trendy but relaxed venue. The small plates were inventive and delicious,
the service attentive and well-informed without being cloying, and the cost a good value for the quality delivered. The D.J. 's music was a tad loud for our taste, but since we were the oldest couple in the room,
our preference re noise-level would not be shared by most diners.
Outstanding service and food was absolutely superb highly recommended
A little pricey but worth it. The ribs and the ravioli exceptional!
The food was exceptionally tasty. We shared a number of plates and they were all very good. Only criticism is that the desserts were all extremely creamy -not good if you don't like cream. The wine list had a good selection and that staff came across as genuinely friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that we did not get the cocktail advertised in the restaurant festival deal and booked and confirmed via the open table as our waiter knew nothing about it but overall we had a very good experience and liked that we were not rushed off the table as is often the case in London restaurants. We went at lunchtime and four plates each was perfect for lunch
Great food, service was a bit late sometimes to fill wine etc.
Nice atmosphere and the food was good. However portion sizes quite small for the price.
Lovely Food (quite spicy), great atmosphere and efficient friendly staff.
Lovely food great service would definitely come again
Amazing place, the food was great and service was very nice and efficient. Definitely coming back
Great food and fantastic service
perfect for pre show dinner! staff were very accomodating
Consistently good. The food is always superb and the service is pretty much faultless. We had a group with multiple dietary requirements and the manager could not have been more informative about what dishes were suited to the individuals' requirements. Cannot recommend enough.
We had lunch at Monmouth Kitchen and although the food was of a high standard, the service both on arrival and during our meal was not up to the same standard. Specifically, when we arrived, we were asked if we were OK with a high table which was completely inappropriate given one of our party was almost 80 years old; furthermore, the lady that greeted us said we should have specified a low table in our reservation but this wasn't an option when booking - not a great start?! We were, however, allocated an acceptable table and as noted above the food was of a high standard and very enjoyable. Frustratingly, the service was patchy which wasn't helped by the lack of knowledge of the wines being offered and a language barrier. Despite this, we would return based on the food we ate.
A good restaurant with tasty food and courteous service. Convenient location near Covent Garden.
I want to say that I was not expecting the demigod excellence when I booked to have dinner here. I am really overwhelmed with pure gladness that places like this still exist. The staff and food makes it all worth it
Second time have visited Monmouth Kitchen and it was again excellent. The food is incredible, cocktails were delicious and the staff friendly and very helpful.
Really fab! Fab food, fab service
Tasty food and excellent service. Perhaps very slightly pricey even on the £22 deal, but would go again. Loved the ravioli and the risotto - which weren't the Peruvian dishes, but those were good too.
I had the pre Theater meal set. 2 of us ordered 1 3 dish n 1 4 dish. We are sooo full.
Food is great! So as the ambience.
Ate from the Peruvian menu and every dish was just superb. Lovely wine, nice background music, attentive staff and just the right timing for a ore-theatre birthday celebration for my husband.
We picked Monmouth Kitchen because it was close to the theatre that we were going to after dinner and what a lovely surprise it was. Service was impeccable, the ambience was lovely and food was to die for. We enjoyed every single dish, and there is definitely something for everyone regardless of dietary restrictions. Will definitely come back again!
Excellent food, great service. Music a bit loud for dinner conversation. Second time back and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend.
Good ambience with DJ on saturday night, nice service. Nice food but not much variety. A bit overpriced. Wine menu could be more extensive.
Second time at Monmouth Kitchen. Love this place! Great food and atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant for a casual dining experience in the heart of theatre land. Mix of Italian and Peruvian dishes work surprisingly well with ample room between tables. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Outstanding food, and very good and friendly table service. So great dining experience.
There was a confusion with the booking and they didn’t manage their mistake very well: not a great costumer service from the manager
Perfect place for a pre theatre meal.
The most amazing food, everything was mouth wateringly good.
Our server Piotr just added to an already incredible experience
Great food and drinks! Very friendly service!
