   Full menu was not available during a sp event. This important info was not indicated. Only a fixed menu with extremely small amounts. The food was not good and had an extreme price of $200 per person. The wonderful service and venue did not make up for the horrible food and price. I hope the full menu is good but we will never go back.

   This was my second visit to Monk’s Road. I absolutely love it. The food is delicious. The service is impeccable - especially tonight from Jock. And it’s just a cool place with a great vibe. Bravo to them for the choices they offered on Oaks night when really busy.

   The menu was different than the menu the restaurant had posted on their own website. The Cocktails were very good, as was the calamari (some of the best I have had). The carpaccio was the best quality meat I had ever had with carpaccio; however the overall flavor of the dish was lacking. I added fresh lemon juice and some salt, and that helped some. I didnt care for the ceasar salad. The lettuce was cut too big to eat so I had to cut it myself and the flavor was off. The pork chop was good, and the creamed greens were amazing. Won’t be in a hurry to return and I am willing to give it a second try

   Visited for a light dinner before a concert. The place was fully booked with concert goers so it was loud but service was not slow at all. Loved the meatballs! I will be going back to try more of the menu.

   The food was inconsistent and only hoped for the Oscar filet to be more tender and less salty. The presentation was fantastic along with the service and ambience. Carrot side was the highlight and truly was the standout. Really hoping this was an aberration in quality and hoping next visit would be better.

   The new menu is refined and expansive. The Goldilocks Oysters on the half shell were fresh and briny. We had the calamari, beef carpaccio, meatballs as appetizers and they simply disappeared at our table of 8, delicious and top quality. Several people had different steaks with the truffle butter and the whipped potatoes, and everyone loved them. These potatoes are heavenly. The new Scallop dish was amazing. Perfectly seasoned, cooked and combined with the greens, it all came together. Great service by Teddy who was very entertaining and fun. You can’t go wrong here.

   Beautiful place and convenient to Yum Center in the heart of downtown. There is convenient parking directly across the street. Lovely decor and greeted immediately by the friendly General Manager-Teddy. Our table was ready however we were invited to sit downstairs at the speak easy bar. They serve a unique Smoky old fashioned with a surprising presentation. The food was delicious, and our server helped me decide on my entree. We had the NY Strip and a Scallop entree. Both were simply delicious with quality steak and seafood. The Sommelier even visited our table to discuss wine/champagne selections. Top notch food and service. Monk's Road was a lovely dining experience and will be sure to return again!

   Had a great experience. Great apps, pasta and steak! Extensive wine list. The Monks Road bourbon was great.

    The food and service were both outstanding. With a 5:00 reservation we easily made it to our 7:00 show at the Kentucky Performing Arts Center. What a treat!
