Wonderful Mai Tais and yummy pizza!
Excellent food and service!
It was our daughters 21st bday!
The menu has lots of variety, but the food quality is always first rate. The lobster pasta is in a special category of its own, with fresh made pasta in house. The cocktails are wonderful... watching surfing competitions while sitting at the bar might be the best indoor activity on the island.
Great Mai Tais!! Loved the potstickers and lobster deviled eggs! Very good fish sandwich and mushroom truffle pizza! Banana pie was fab and so was Renee the waitress,. Super evening- would go back tomorrow!
Love the Monkeypod. Love Happy Hour and the food. The Mai Tais are not only the best on the island - their eye candy. Try the cheesecake pie with strawberries!
Amazing food! Mai-tai was superb and the food was excellent! Great service also.
BEST Mai Tai ever! Shared potstickers appetizer. Ahi tuna melt sandwich. All very yummy! Kind of pricey, but definitely worth it as a splurge.
First off, the hostess knew we were there celebrating my 50th birthday - and seated us at an inside table directly next to the kitchen, after we waited well past our reservation time. The food was completely underwhelming and rather bland. All in all, over priced for the less than flavorful food. There was nothing unique about it. It was so loud, we could barely speak to one another let alone hear our server. I did really enjoy the musician who managed to play my request of “Sailing” by C & K and that was the best part of my night. Would not recommend to a friend.
We were fortunate enough to have the best seat in the house to enjoy the sunset. Food and drinks were wonderful and our server took great care of us.
Excellent restaurant. We went twice in one day! Happy Hour (those Mai Tai’s!!), garlic fries (so good). The noodle soup is so amazing. Pizza great (although the crust underneath was a bit soft). Their coconut cream pie is beautiful. I wasn’t as keen on pot stickers . Sweet potato tortellini (pasta appetizer) was yummy, but too much butter. Welcoming staff were very friendly. Servers good. Highlights: fish sandwich, noodles, and pie 🥧
It is a nice restaurant but the pricing for the food quality and quantity is a bit expensive especially for a family. You can expect this in Wailea but it still is a bit too pricey.
Ok place if you can sit outside. Otherwise inside is a zoo.
This place was one of the best dinners on the island. Fresh food, the best mai tai’s anywhere. Our server Ryan was great, friendly, knowledgeable, and just an all around great guy. We took his lead - everything was superb.
Excellent menu, great service in a relaxed setting.
Fabulous energetic and happy servers attend the mostly family diners. Staff rolls with it - food is reliably fresh and tasteful. They have found the combination to their business success
Enjoyed our meal, but found the restaurant to be a little dirty. Time to replace or recover the grubby bar stools.
Great food and good company
Amazing food and experience. Happy hour is a must. We came back the next day, it was so good. It was a great addition to our trip to Maui.
This was my third visit in the two weeks that I have been here. Best mai tai ever and great appetizers.
Great food and amazing service. Our waitress was awesome and they were so accommodating for our party of 6 including a toddler and a baby.
Loved the food and live music! We didn’t order food until after 9:00 but that was even better because they offered drink specials, half off appetizers and $10 pizzas! The cocktails are to die for!
Second visit to Maui and second visit to Monkeypod a must. Enjoyed everything immensely. One of these days I'll save room for the pie!
Delicious food and good servoce
On vacation, and MP was recommended to us by many folks on the mainland! It was our favorite, hands down🎉Phito of view!
Terrific location with attentive staff and a great menu. Fresh fish a speciality. You have to try their special strawberry dessert made fresh every day. Plus the bar staff know their wines. Wonderful evening!
This place is great but it's too popular now to be honest. There is always a large crowd waiting out front of the entrance and inside the restaurant to be seated. We showed up on time for our reservation (6:30 I believe) but had to wait and additional 20 minutes to be seated. Kind of a bummer when you're on time for your reservation and have places to go.
The food was excellent as usual but it's really just the crowds. It's uncomfortable to wait as every space is occupied to stand so you're constantly saying, sorry, sorry, sorry as you move out of the way.
It not their fault, that's what happens when you run a successful business.
We dined as a couple for a Friday evening dinner. The restaurant was hopping. The potstickers were a great start with some hot mustard. The mai tais were deliciously effective, but the bulgogi pork tacos were the real winner of the night
