The food is great the staff are brilliant! Lincoln and Crystal in particular were excellent
We were seated within ten minutes of our scheduled reservation time.
Service was friendly, efficient and unobtrusive.
Mahi mahi, fish and chips and cucumber/avacado
salad were well prepared and delicious.
Beer selections are broad based.
A vibrant dining environment.
Although not cheap the cost is appropriate for Monkeypod’s location in a prime O’ahu vacation corridor.
Great - superb food and drink, service, ambiance and value.
It was a cool evening we were seated on the windward side we were cool and food got cold quickly. Service was slow
Our server changed 3 times. Food was good tho the curry lobster stew was extremely spicy Hot!!!! I received less sprouts & rice than the gal next to me who ordered the same thing. My mouth was on Fire. Fortunately the waiter #2 brought me more rice, tho it was uncomfortable and late getting it.
Live music way to loud for patrons sitting outside. Otherwise great place.
Food expensive and not great but atmosphere fun and very pretty. Wait staff very attentive .
Food was good but it took a long time to come out, over 45 minutes for a pizza and tuna.
We always love Monkeypod - a favorite date night spot where we always get fantastic food and wonderful ambiance.
The servers could not wait for you to even finish chewing your last bite before they whisked away the plates.
Great menu. Wonderful service. Loved the kale salad! Deviled eggs were very tasty.
Best maitai in Hawaii
The corn chowder is amazing!
Great tasting food and service. Open air facility usually nice, except when cool and windy. Needs to provide more changes to menu.
We love this place and come about 3 times a week while in town for the month. Tonight however was disappointing. Really I believe it’s because every time we come, we never see the save servers. Their is no friendly consistency. We waited to be seated about 15 minutes before a host came and it wasn’t the host. We opted to change our seat because of wind and walked back & forth to host stand. As a result, by the time we were seated and a server came. We missed happy hour pricing.
We love bringing visitors to Monkeypod Kitchens in Ko Olina for Mai Tia's and pizza, followed by a great sunset walk on the lagoons.
Food was very tasty but portions were small for the price. A bread basket or roll with the dinner would make it complete.
Great alternative to Disney resort. Good value
Good time but expensive good beer selection nice view from top terrace close to the water
We loved the Mai Tais and macadamia nut fish and fish and chips. good food and service!
Lot's of fun. Staff was very accommodating. Good food. Great Mai Tai.
Macadamia Mahi-Mahi was delicious! The strawberry cream pie was best ever!
Excellent and knowledgeable service by wait staff. Friendly environment. Interesting menu with tasty food. The lobster and crab pizza was a delectable and delicious entre. The monkey pod mai tai itself is worth the trip.
Service was great!
This was a fantastic meal. The food was all on point, the cocktails were superb, and the service was gracious, efficient, and smart. The value proposition is also great compared to the nearby resorts. If you are staying at Aulani or the Four Seasons, Monkeypod is definitely worth checking out.
Love the ambiance, friendly wait staff, food. Always a stop when at Ko Olina.
Service and food were excellent. We had an energetic young lady who made sure everything was just so. It's a busy place lots of activity and noise.
Some trips, Monkey Pod is the only restaurant we visit. Just got back from a 2 night trip to Oahu & we went JUST TO EAT AT MONKEY POD. The mai tais are out of this world. Possibly the best drink I have ever had. The seared ahi w/ jalapeño mashed potatoes & maui onions are to die for. Another must have for us is the pork pizza. Pork, pesto, jalapeños, cheese & pineapple. I could go on & on about how wonderful this place is. I highly recommend a trip here sometime. I already can’t wait to get back for a mai tai & some ahi. Truly one of the best restaurants, anywhere.
Went there while on our anniversary trip. Great happy hour menu and delicious food and cocktails. Mai tais were excellent and recommend the truffle fries. We also got dumplings which were delicious. Upon finding out it was our anniversary, we were comp'd a piece of strawberry cream pie which was to die for. Definitely recommend and will be back next time on Oahu! Live music was also awesome!
Great service & atmosphere. Cory was an excellent server. Good food.
The food is not recommendable. My grandson’s burger was badly burned. The corn chowder tasted weird. The fish tacos were good per my daughter-in-law.
We received a gift certificate from our daughter for my birthday. We had a great meal here. The Macadamia nut crusted Mahi-mahi was wonderful. We had a side of pumpkin ravioli covered with fresh local spinach. The chocolate cream pie has marvelous. There was live music that evening which added to ambience.
Great gumbo? Friendly service!
Good dinner with good service. Fish tacos were great, and our grandsons loved their pizzas. The strawberry pie is delicious, and the chocolate pie was great too. It was also 1/2 off bottles of sparkling,so we enjoyed a bottle of prosecco.
Great service, very good food, but way way to darn loud. We were on the patio and the piped in music was so loud that we could not easily talk at the table, having to almost yell, and it started giving me a headache. Actually the live entertainment was not as loud. Fyi, we've been coming here since you first opened and overall really like the restaurant.
Just try the lobster deviled eggs, pumpkin ravioli, mushroom shrimp potstickers and banana pie.
Food was nothing to write home about; the Loco Moco was standard fare - you could get it anywhere. Nothing compared to the Loco Moco at Hoku’s at The Kahala hotel. Additionally, even though Moku Kitchen in Kakaako shares the same ownership, quality of food and service at Moku is more superb. Waitstaff at Monkeypod was sporadic in attending to us. For example, never got our waters refilled. Service was not at the level I would expect from the Merriman Group. Okay for someplace like Chili’s or IHOP, just not Monkeypod. Guest had a napkin that had not been cleaned properly and wife did not receive chopsticks to eat her saimin. Tried to engage another server when ours was not available to rectify the problem (get a new napkin and chopsticks), the other server looked directly at us, saw us wave, then turned away to face and serve his tables. Disappointing. Also, sat outside and spent a bit of time swatting flies away from our food - that’s Hawaii I guess. Not all negatives, live entertainment was nice. Overall, can not justify a repeat visit based on this experience. Will be sticking to Roy’s at Koolina or the Eating House at Kapolei Commons when guests are in town and wanting to visit the west side.
Poor service never makes for a good dining experience.
This restaurant is nice, however beware that the patio can be very loud! The music on the patio is nice but louder than expected. Great food and atmosphere though! As well, the service was slower, but was to be expected on a Saturday night. The place is packed for dinner time so make a reservation!!
