Amazing meal! Our waitress Erica was so kind and helpful and made our night even better! Happy hour deals are well worth it and we loved the ukulele player!

The staff was terrific. The day manager, Kinsey, made super recommendations for our dinner. We had the seared ahi, and the pumpkin pasta appy. The evening manager, Tracy, helped us fix a problem with a gift certificate. The waitress was also very attentive to our needs. We had a great meal and will return!

Music was extremely loud. We had to raise our voices to hear each other at the table. I asked the waiter if it could be dialed down, he said it was up to the musician and he would ask. The music continued loud as ever.
Food was mediocre and overpriced. Waiter was excellent.

The food was ok, however the poke tacos were stellar. The service was not great. He forgot to order a drink and everything came out slowly.

We really enjoyed Monkeypad. My meal was the best I have had in a long time. The atmosphere and service can’t be beat! The only downfall was the lack of menu items. What I ordered...was about the only thing on the menu I would order again. I didn’t feel like there were a lot of choices. My family agreed. There was not an option for a house salad , which was also a disappointment. Because we weren’t interested in appetizers, we had to wait for main course. No bread or salad to get us started. Our waitress was sweet as can be. Very attentive. We all thought our meal was amazing!

Worth trying. The drinks looked great but we didn't have a chance to order any. They're happy hour is a great deal; especially their pizzas. Enjoy.

Great service. Great ambiance. We requested and were given a table facing the ocean. Our server was patient and explained everything. He was amazing. Food was divine. My teenager keeps raving about her burger there.

Outstanding location though we always prefer a more outdoor dining experience in Hawaii. Food was excellent especially the Grilled Fish Sandwich. Mai Tai award winning.
Finished off with a strawberry pie for two.
My recommendation is to definitely try it out.

We had such an awesome time at Monkeypod for Valentine's Day. Our server was excellent, patient and funny. The Mai Tais were great. The food was awesome. We started with the Lobster Deviled Eggs and the Pumpkin Raviolis. Both were excellent. For dinner we had the Proleteriat pizza which was very tasty (loved the thin crust) and the special which was a steak with shrimp. Everyone loved their meals.

I like MonkeyPod but eating there while performers play make any table conversation almost impossible. Great if you just want to have a meal and listen to music. Tough if you want any conversation.

Made advanced reservations for a Valentine’s Day dinner for two and the 5:15pm slot was open.

Upon arrival, the place was packed and people waiting outside. Was greeted warmly and given a pager as our table was not ready. About a 20 minute wait and we were seated. There was live music, a bar and open air.

The menu reflected the nature of this restaurant as more of a bar and very casual restaurant. Food choices were typical of bar food and just a few dinner type selections.

The noise level was very high maybe because of the live music and bar that conversation could only take place at a high volume. Not what I was hoping for.

The service was decent and our order was delivered quickly. All food was pretty good. Then we had their signature dessert, strawberry cream cheese pie. Was pretty good but not worth the $11 price tag.

Also, I saw on the menu that all checks will reflect a 2% service charge for the kitchen staff. Don’t know about that, not sure I agree. I used to work in food and beverage and never had a service charge given to me.

Was nice but not enough to bring me back.

We visited the Monkeypod on
Valentines day. It was very busy but our service was excellent. Our server,Angel, gave us excellent descriptions of the cocktails and specials. We had the seafood special of monchong and shrimp which was delicious. Our only complaint would be that it was a bit noisy but it was a very busy evening and the restaurant was full.

I would for small group (under 4 people) as we were told they could not sit us (party of 7) outside. We visit Monkeypod regularly and always request outside due to the noise level inside the restaurant. With our party, the service was slow and they got our order wrong...not typical at this restaurant.
