   We had a very pleasant first time experience at Mondano on a Tuesday night. While there were just a few diners while we were there, the personal service we received was exceptional. We were attracted to the Prix fixe menu and pleased with our choices. Especially attractive was the variety of menu choices and we liked the local wines. You should give it a try.

   Mondano is a relatively new restaurant and is excellent in every way. I highly recommend it, especially for the food, which is the primary reason people go out to eat. From the amuse bouche to the dessert, everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. In a town where there are many restaurants, this one should become a standout.

   We were excited to try this restaurant, as there isn't much other than Italian in Old Forge. The bar was small, with only 4 bar stools, despite having room for 10. The service was ok, but not great, as there was only one server for the whole restaurant. The food was tasty, but the presentation was not the best. There was live piano, which set a nice atmosphere. The chef did come out to check how our dinner was, which was a definite plus. That being said, the restaurant advertises as "global cuisine", but all of their alcohol and wine is from Pennsylvania.

   The food is absolutely incredible. It's great to find a restaurant that has real vegan options - chef made food that is not just a commercially available fake meat or a plain veggie burger. As a vegan married to an omnivore, finding a restaurant that truly caters to both of us is a real unicorn!

   Mondano has a great selection of dishes I enjoy the vegan selections The staff is great and the owner is very welcoming We will return soon

   We had reservations for Valentine’s Day and thought that everyone working there was very attentive to all needs of everyone in restaurant. Only negative was when we were leaving we were not offered to fill out a review for the restaurant and fill out birthday certificates for coupon for birthday. We would recommend and will also return at a later date.

   Very flavorful. A very diverse menu. Something different for our area which is great. Give it a try.

    Walked in and place looked great. Apps were great , drinks were perfect (Cosmo and pear martini ) the expresso martinis were really good as well. Dinners were spot on - stuffed eggplant and filet Desserts were a great ending. Really hope old forgians give this place a try well worth it. New monthly menu provides a really nice change for new experiences
