Great atmosphere, entertainment was great, exciting place.
I loved everything about it. The show that was put on, the food, the beautiful waitress.....absolutely EVERYTHING!!
Very clean, professional and the food is delicious. THE MUSHROOMS are thee BEST!
Everything was amazing! Great date night. I will definitely be back
This was me and my friends first time there and oh my goodness, it was absolutely AMAZING! We can’t wait to get back there.
Being the foodie i am its prob the best steak house in Baltimore by far :)
Atlas group you rock!!
Staff was very informative and knowledgeable about the dinner and drink menu. The dinner show was very entertaining as well., and the dinner was excellent!
Love this place! It has an amazing vibe! Great food! Excellent service!! Can’t wait to go back!! Baltimore’s best kept
Great spot for a fun dinner. Food is really good and the performance was great. Unfortunately it is a little loud and had a hard time hearing the server and each other talk.
Excellent food service and entertainment!
Steaks cooked spot on to your preference, great/attentive service and got surprised w/ hoop show and stilts, ladies brought it!!!
Monaarque was a great experience. Getting there was a journey because you have to go through Atlas restaurant and past the courtyard to access Monarque all the way in the back and we didn’t know that. But no matter, it was a beautiful experience. They had a live band playing and the ambience was amazing for a Tuesday night. Food was great, especially the Mouillette and the Bayonne ham and the Pot de creme au Chocolat was one of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell the food is fresh and I even had leftover. So portions were big and food was super fresh and tasty. Dessert was even better. Will definitely come back to taste the rest of the menu when I come back to Baltimore. I forgot the name of our server but we were the third table on the right and it was a black gentlemen who was our server. He was amazing and made our experience even better.
Intimate feel, beautiful bar! Interesting decor on the walls and all about.
Very nice ambiance. Service exquisite. Food hot, delicious. Very loud, so if you want romantic and quiet this wouldn't work.
Great restaurant. Only problem it’s so loud that it’s hard to hear the waitress.
We went to Monarque to celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary. It was Amazing ! We came early & waited at the bar for our table. We enjoyed the ambiance while we had a few drinks. Once we were collected for our table , right in front of the stage, we enjoyed the nightly performances of cabaret.
It was Amazing!!
The Food, the wait staff, the hostess !!
Thank You Monarque ! We’ll be back !!
What a fun time! The staff is incredible and very knowledgeable about cocktails, wine and food. And the food is excellent. Great steaks and the crepes were amazing! The entertainment was a huge hit and pulled it all together to make this a very memorable night out. We found the restaurant management very engaged and accommodating. Highly recommend for a unique and energetic fine dining experience.
Amazing steaks and attentive, knowledgeable service. Great experience!
Celebrating my fiancé birthday, good food but our server was t the friendliest and she never came to check on us for refills or desserts
Everything about Monarque was amazing. The food, the drinks, the service and the entertainment were all top notch. It was the perfect venue to celebrate our special occasion. Can’t wait to go back.
This was fantastic! We came when Monarque first opened and found it to be very good but we weren't truly "wowed". This time around, we were beyond impressed. This is now the crown jewel of Baltimore's dining scene. Highly recommend splurging on a couple ounces of the A5 Japanese Wagyu. Truly the best beef I've ever had. Everything else was fantastic as well, and it's highly recommended to go on a Friday or Saturday when the variety show is playing. Fun performances and atmosphere combined with unbelievable food. A true gem!
My girlfriends and I schedule a monthly date with each other where we indulge in the tastes of Baltimore. In September we selected Monarque and we were not disappointed. We went from a party of 3 (which I had reservations for) to a party of 7 a two hours later. They accommodated all of our friends that decided to pop in and join us which was pretty cool. The ambiance was classy, regal and elegant. I felt like I’d entered into a time capsule and was dropped into a combination of the 1920’s and France’s Belle Epoque era. The waiter knew the entire menu by heart and made great recommendations to my guests. The burlesque dancers were super cute, full of energy and preformed well. They were a lot of fun to watch. I was very pleased.
The food was pretty tasty but a bit overpriced for a non-steak eater like myself. All of the sides are á la carte. I had the Dover Sole Poêle (fish) with a side of corn pudding and mashed potatoes. Yum. The corn pudding was not what I am accustomed to, it was a bit runny. It is French so perhaps that is how they make it there. I’m not sure. It was very tasty though so I will not complain one bit. The sides are definitely large enough to share and I suggest you do so. One of my friends got the lamb which looked divine! Another got the Shortbread Fig Stone Fruit Tarte Salad and she LOVED IT. Im definitely getting that when I go back. The others got steak and they enjoyed it as well. Everyone was happily entertained and left with a satisfied belly. What more can I ask for considering that I picked this months restaurant lol.
I highly recommend this Monarque to anyone who wants a fun dining experience.
Our server didn’t really ask about any occasions and it was our wedding anniversary. The music is SO LOUD. I think it’s appropriate for the music to be turned up during performances but perhaps lowered in between. Our server had to yell at us so we could hear. It’s pricy - perhaps a bit overpriced.
Wonderful evening! My fiancee and I came here for a birthday celebration on a Wednesday evening, just the two of us.
- Great ambience - the restaurant is like a step back in time to 1920's Paris
- Great music - Gypsy Jazz on Wednesday nights, but they have entertainment every night of the week
- Great food! - The steaks were great, but the stars for us were the truffle cheese mouilette and the potatoes au gratin.
- Great cocktails! - Highly recommend getting the French 75 made with cognac, the original way it was prepared
Very nice place. The food was great and we enjoyed our 30th wedding anniversary
Amazing service and wonderful food. Jazz quartet was the perfect topper.
Amazing service & food quality was incredible
Date night here was awesome! Such a cute experience & totally different vibe. Service was spectacular as well! We will be back!
As soon as we got there we were greatly warmly and seated right away just a few minutes earlier than our reservation. We didn’t wait too long for the food, which was so tasty and exquisite. The show was fun and tasteful, and the whole atmosphere was just very enjoyable with great friendly service. We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end.
Great food and service. The performance was a bit bland and not what I expected for a burlesque theme. However, fun overall.
I love the show. I will go there again.
The steaks we VERY salty and the noise level was horribly LOUD. When we asked if they could lower the music we were told no. When the performance started it got even louder. We had to yell to hear anything at our table. It might be a good place to go on a date, especially if you don’t want to talk with the person you are with. Otherwise avoid!
Great vibe, great food. Absolutely loved this place and have done plenty of word of mouth advertising for them since I went there. Will definitely have to come again once I get back to Baltimore
Servers were very knowledgeable
Not the place I thought it would be. I am disappointed, the hostess was rude
Odd placement of table where initially sat. The table was placed in a busy location, behind the server kiosk, and near the entrance/ exit of the restaurant. All despite multiple open tables.
The food was cooked to perfection! Flavorful! The show was mediocre.
We enjoyed our dinner and the show. The food was great and the service was excellent. I want to go back on the 1st of October but cannot make a reservation for that date. That is a disappointment
