Food was outstanding. Waiter was very, very nice but new to waiting tables. Hence he brought our bill before he asked us if we wanted anything else, like coffee. We moved to the bar, which is very nice, and had coffee followed by wine. The music was to be the Blues, on Tuesday night, and it was not. However, there was a pianist playing standards who added in singing at 8pm. Wish she had sung beginning at 7pm. Monarque is a hidden gem, loved the ambiance and love that there is some type of entertainment every night. The space is large enough that the music does not overwhelm conversation.

Bread and cheese to start was delicious! Escargot was delicious! Bone marrow was undercooked and a little cold. Foie gras was not as soft and fatty as I’d like but tasted okay. Duck was delicious and perfectly cooked. Bone in rib eye was delicious and perfectly cooked. Asparagus was fine and the Mac and cheese was overbroiled. Service was fantastic and the ambience was fantastic and quite the experience. The entertainment was fun and adult rated which was great for a Saturday evening. The performers were sociable and we loved their energy.

First time here. The food quality was way better than I expected. We also tried oysters, pasta, tuna tartar and the dessert was delicious. Also our steak was cooked perfect with tons of flavor. I was nervous cause we always go to Del Friscos. Overall fun time!

Second time at Monarch. Great staff and atmosphere but if you're looking for value this isn't the place. Excellent food but at a premium price. Worth it? Perhaps for a special occasion buy can't put it in the regular rotation

What else can I say. The food, service and ambience were exceptional. I wish we could have stayed for the entertainment but we had tickets to the Lionel Ritchie concert. We will be back when we can stay for the entertainment.

The concept, interior, and service were all outstanding. The two performers were also very good. It was a little hard to talk because of the noise but it was manageable. The food was good with the exception of the creamed spinach. It was very salty! We debated sending it back but decided to just deal with it. Overall it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Way way overpriced for what you get. Beautiful setting but prepare yourself for small portions over rich portions and small lobsters and above average steaks at huge cost.

Reservation was at 7:15; got seated right away. Apps came out pretty quickly. Ordered entrees at 8:05; they did not come out until 9:47. My party had 4 people in it. We specifically waited to order a bottle of wine to have with our steaks (2 guests ordered the tomahawk, which was ~$175 alone), but, of course that didn’t last given the insane delay. What is more, no one acknowledged (let alone apologized) the delay until we commented about it. No one checked on us, apologized, nothing. Very disappointed and likely will not be going back.

Well my husband and I went here for date night. Neither of us had ever had escargot or lamb and wanted to try something different. The waitress had wonderful recommendations for wine and was so kind and attentive. The shows were great. Food was amazing and they kept our table so clean in between our dishes. Water was always kept full. Such a wonderful experience. Will be back to see the shows again.

I really wanted to see the show but it didn’t start on time. They said 8p but we still stayed til 8:30 and it still had not started. We still had a great time!! Food was delicious and the service was great.

Was in Baltimore for a few days over our anniversary, couldn’t decide where to have dinner, thought this looked like a cool place. The ambiance was great, we were there on a Wednesday night, enjoyed the piano player. Would’ve loved to have been there on a night with burlesque dancers, but still loved the vibe. Our dinner was outstanding, filet with king Oscar and short ribs were absolutely delicious! Drink menu was also interesting and different. Our waiter Christian was super cool, very nice, knowledgeable about menu/drinks, surprised us with dessert for our anniversary. If we’re ever in town again, we’ll definitely be heading back for dinner!

We went on 08/09/23, and from out time at Monarque it was fantastic! CJ took care of us and they were fantastic! It was also a great experience and a fun time overall! Tim the Piano Man was performing and him paired with dinner was fantastic! I would highly recommend! For the food, we both ordered steak both temps were prefect right on the spot! Our sides were also fantastic!

One word to describe Monarque would be stellar! The experience from being seated to receiving the check was amazing! The staff truly cares about our needs as the customer. We went there for dinner about 6:45pm, perfect because the show started shortly after. The performers were amazing as well. Also, we went to celebrate my birthday. Our server hooked my party of 4 up with a round of shots, half dozen oysters, and a birthday treat at the end. I felt like Gordon Ramsey or a VIP. We had the Ribeye special cooked a perfect medium rare, a salad lyonnaise, tuna tartare, wagyu, sea bass, and shrimp. Plus several old fashioned cocktails all with the Sagamore Rye which were delicious and made the same each time we ordered them. The mixologists behind the bar are amazing at what they do. I will definitely be returning for another amazing evening.

What an amazing experience. Our server, Brooksie, was an absolute gem and heightened the experience exponentially. The performances were spectacular and the food was top tier. The drinks were also fabulous. Had an amazing experience and that was elevated even more with the transition to the speak easy next door. The live music was phenomenal. Overall, I highly recommend, especially for a special occasion.

Great experience. I would go back for the entertainment. Our server wasn’t that pleasant and made it a point to tell us to be seated at the front of the stage. The expectation is that you buy more food than we did. Typically for what we ordered, we should have sat at the bar. But he/she with the blue hair informed us that because the reservations total a 100 or less sitting, we were was fine for tonight. What she didn’t know is, we came there last minute and had eaten light before coming there and had set reservations elsewhere to eat. Rude.

My husband and I enjoyed this place for our anniversary. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable about the menus. My filet streak did come out undercooked twice (it wouldn’t typically be a problem but I am expecting so I have to be careful), but they comped the meal anyways. Husband loved the cocktails, the drink he had reminded him of a spiced pound cake. The Gnocci, potatoe gratin and ribeye were amazing. We are definitely coming back

We shared asparagus lobster for our entree'. One of us had double cut lamb chops and the other had Dover sole and corn pudding. My lady companion had a glass of wine and I had a crepe with passion fruit. The food was delicious and so very fresh. We enjoyed the show which reminded us of the Folies Bergere' in Paris when we were there. We will return to see some of the other shows.
