Excellent and quick Mexican food in downtown. Fun atmosphere and music. Great for date night or a night out. Music was a little loud at times.
From start to finish we had an amazing dining experience. Everyone was friendly and I cannot say enough about our server Hudson. He had so many recommendations and we weren't disappointed with any of them. We will definitely be back!
Overall good restaurant with a great ambiance. Friendly service, great music, but the Food was ok. I was not enthusiastic about the Carne Asada I ordered, it lacked deep flavor and salt. The table salsa was mild, not sure if they have hotter salsa’s or sauces but It could have been an off night so definitely give them the benefit of the doubt. Hope this business does well. Has the characteristics to be an outstanding restaurant in the area.
A gal named "Echo" was our waitress and she was welcoming, helpful, enthusiastic and outstanding in every aspect of the service she provided.. Food, starting with fresh quacamole was for the most part excellent. I had the Monarca Carne Asada and that was delicious. My wife had the shrimp tacos and indicated they were good but not great. However, she is anxious to return to try the vegetarian enchiladas or perhaps the halibut.
Had reservation. Called because we was running late they said it was fine and then made us wait 30 min. A party had a screaming kid next to us. Food was mediocre. Waitress was amazing, she was the manager.
First time dining there. We had a wonderful dinner. Our server was very good. Food was excellent. De will definitely be back and work out way down the menu. Not your typical Mexican menu.
Such a great find! Yummy food, fun atmosphere and top notch service!
The food here was absolutely delicious. I loved the enchiladas with mole and the queso fundido. I also got a Paloma and it was very good. Loved the atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!
Amazing gourmet Latinx cuisine including a few options for alternative diets!
Amazing food and service. We will be back and will spread the word to everyone we know.
This spot was a delightful experience and really good food! I saw on yelp that the spot was new in town so we stopped in for lunch. It was pretty quiet and the service was extremely prompt and helpful. We started with the guacamole and got the Birria Tacos and the Steak Quesadilla. The birria was amazing, and the rest of the food was really tasty too! I needed a nap afterwards. Would recommend!
Wonderful and must try for any salt lake foodie. Quick lunch meal to culinary experience dinner.
Delicious food! Wonderful host. Fun scene. Very nice gem.
Very nice and most enjoyable dinner.
Everything was great. Really wish they would bring back the table side guacamole!
This experience was just okay for us. The guac was beautiful but needed more lime. My Paloma drink was spilled and when I got the second one, it was missing the seasoning around the rim. The shrimp tacos were good but wish the shrimp was seared a little bit more and had less stuffing so it would stay in the corn tortilla. The churro was over cooked. I also believe the drinks price point are expensive for not having any higher-end choices in liquor. Their vodka options were Amsterdam and Tito’s… but they were out of Tito’s.
Took 15 minutes to bring me my cocktail. My companion asked for a soda and they charged us for every refill( never seen that anywhere)
Food was good overall
Loved!! It was everything Alamexo used to be, but with its own twist of course. The different setup and menu changes along with the space make it fantastic. I love the space it’s in anyway and the food is so so good! Still love the guacamole even though it’s not done tableside any more. I really recommend the molcajete, it’s the best and we loved it. And our server Sophia was great!! She was so busy but still on top of it all.
Great food and great service. Will definitely come here again!
Excellent new Mexican food option in downtown SLC. Parking in nearby garages and beautiful space with excellent service and super delicious food and cocktails. Nice job! We will be back.
Can't wait to go back! Great new Mexican restaurant in Downtown SLC. Cocktails were great! Food was fresh and inventive! Service was top notch. We left our to go order and they came outside and made sure we got it!
Great food! Service was fantastic. The empanadas were amazing. The avocado margarita was soooo good. Kind of mellows the sweetness. Will definitely eat here again.
Great food! Service was ok, it could have been a staffing issues because it was a busy night. It's loud, so if you're lookin for a place to have conversation without yelling, this is not it. Loved the food though.
Great night trying a new restaurant. Our server was the daughter-in-law of the owners and she was wonderful. The food was delicious and we are looking forward to coming again.
I celebrated my 60th birthday party here with girlfriends. We were all very impressed. I would defintely go back for the service, food and ambience.
Excellent food. Service was great. We had 5 in our party, everybody ordered something different, and everyone enjoyed what they got.
From a drinks standpoint, the Margarita was excellent and would highly recommend it. A more extensive beer selection would be nice. Overall, we had a great time.
