Steak was fantastic and cooked really well. It was so noisey you could hardly hear the person sitting next to you. The staff were friendly but had to wait a long time for menus and to be served.

Great venue. Warm and friendly staff. Members nights are popular. Need more floor staff as they are unable to keep up! Over 45 minutes between orders and food service more than once now, and that is too long. As a result food often left in warmers too long and it reduces the quality of the food and the presentation. Shame as it’s a great venue overall!

Great place, filled with locals I presume, nice vibe. My food was excellent, Confit Duck with vegetables, duck fat potatoes. Tasty sauce and tender duck, vegetables a bit firm but that’s not a bad thing. Nice wine, friends enjoyed their meals too. The service was good, not overwhelming but friendly.

The lighting in the restaurant was quite harsh on the eyes. Staff were lovely. We found the food quite expensive for what was offered which is coming from someone who works in the hospitality industry. I ordered a hanger steak, my favourite cut, and was disappointed with how small it was as well as the fact that it only came with fries and no greens. They also told me it could only be cooked medium which was too tough for me. Suggesting to the customer that the steak is best medium would be better than only offering one option. The other guests at the table ordered the pork belly special which they said was overly salted but nice enough. They were disappointed that the dish didn't offer any carbs like potatoes or mash to complete the meal. Overall a great spot and clearly the place to be to enjoy a beer watching the footy. But the dining experience wasn't fantastic.
