Absolutely amazing food and some of the best service I have ever received at a restaurant. We had a party of five and arrive 15 minutes early and they seated us immediately. I had not one but multiple staff members wish me a Happy Birthday and inquired how we were enjoying yourselves. The food was awesome and we definitely plan on coming back.
Great atmosphere, I wish the sushi was larger. Left kind of hungry although my date was full. Wonderful staff very friendly. Lively place. Overall a very nice time with the lady.

I've been there a few times and it's always amazing. The sushi with smoked wood is outstanding. Great Sake list too. But be prepared for an expensive bill!

Food was amazing, drinks were exceptional, service was great! We sat at the sushi bar, and listened to the sushi chefs complain all evening. Very off putting, set a negative vibe for the entire dinner. Otherwise, I was very impressed. The smoked aji and House tartare is worth another visit alone. Will be back! Also, will choose better seats next time. Haha

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at Momotaro. The food was incredible and the entire staff was attentive and friendly. We loved being able to sample lots of small-plate style dishes (the scallop nigiri was especially divine), but we were glad we saved room for dessert! The black sesame custard with smoked vanilla ice cream was a whole experience in itself.
Our one complaint was that one of the cocktails we ordered while waiting to be seated -- I forgot the name but it was a whiskey and rhubarb concoction recommended by the bartender -- was inexplicably served over crushed ice. It was so diluted from the melting ice that it tasted like watered down pink lemonade. However, the mixologists managed to redeem when we capped off our night with a frothy white chocolate cocktail that was absolutely stunning.
Food is fresh, creative, unique and.... OUTSTANDING. The wait staff was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. This restaurant is well worth the wait and the price. Portions are small for most men with larger appetites so come prepared to taste lots of dishes and spend time and $. You will not regret it!!

We went because we had heard what a great restaurant it was. And it didn't disappoint. The four of us each ordered glasses of wine and they were all great. The range of different dishes, each with a unique blend of flavors, was incredible. And the atmosphere at the restaurant was both subdued and vibrant, a tough combination. Really enjoyed it and we will be back!
I love this place. Even though this is not a low priced restaurant, I highly recommend everyone to try this place at least once. The service is amazing, the food quality is fresh, and the atmosphere is ideal. In particular, the beef skewers were perfectly cooked.

We came here with friends. The food was good, but not great. For the price we thought it should've had something extra. We may return and get different dishes. We got an assortment of appetizers and sushi rolls, and they were all good, not great. The drinks were good, however expensive. Desert was also good, not great.

Our first visit. We were well greeted and quickly seated. The menu is unusual so, although we know Japanese food, it took some time to orient to its peculiarities. The entire cuisine was excellent. Service varied: some were excellent, some rushed, resulting in dishes being removed a couple of times, without asking, before we had finished. Our egress was ignored, resulting in us leaving with an ambivalent feeling: Quite un-Japanese!

Dined here for an early anniversary celebration. It was my third time visiting and my partner's first. I will say, my visit this time around was far better than the other two times I've been to Momotaro. Our reservation was for Sunday night at 7PM, so there weren't as many people in the restaurant (maybe ~70% full). We were greeted and promptly seated by a very nice maitre d'. Before our waiter came around, a hall manager dropped by with some champagne to congratulate us on our anniversary - she was so sweet and helped start our evening on a good note. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful - he guided us through the menu (including the daily special) and helped us curate a perfect set of dishes. Caveat: we didn't place our full order in the beginning. We had an idea of which kushiyakis to snack in between courses and some hot dishes to finish off the night with, but wanted to stay flexible with the nigiri / sashimi orders. Our waiter was very patient and helpful as we ordered a few selections of nigiri / sashimi at a time - this allowed us to really explore the flavors we loved and adjust as we go. In my opinion, this approach turned out better than ordering the chef's selection nigiri or sashimi. Of all the things we tried, we enjoyed the Harame (flounder) and Otoro (tuna belly) nigiri the most. Overall, had a great experience with great people and wonderful food. Thanks, Momotaro!
loved it. I have wanted to go for so long, so made it my Easter treat. Everything was so interesting and creative but also delicious and filling. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.

We did a tasting menu of sorts that was all the chefs choice. Our server asked a few questions about our preferences and what we generally liked to eat and then the chef curated a tasting menu for us. Everything was absolutely incredible!! Couldn’t have asked for a better meal! The bar downstairs is super cool too!!
We horn there on time and still had to wait 45 mins to get seated. Once we got seated the waiter told us he was really behind and in the weeds. So we got a complimentary appetizer still just not great attention and the overall experienced felt like hearing cattle . They seem to be understaffed
Had to wait 45 mins for our 8pm reeevation. They were kind and comped is some drinks and an appetizer but really I would have preferred the table on time. It looked they they oversat people for earlier dinners and risked late diners like us.

Everything on the menu was delicious- the waiter was very knowledgeable in the food and wine department. They made my husbands birthday so special- even including a personalized menu! One of our favorite restaurants!
