Consistently good. Worth the money... just wish their pours were a little more generous. Great pairings that you barely get to enjoy
Incredible. Amazing. Best tasting menu to date. Highly recommended
Truly amazing from the first bite the very last. Each drink paired with the food only enhances the experience.
This was a fantastic meal. I went with a friend and we totally enjoyed each course. The chefs were gracious, our servers were efficient without making you feel hurried. David Chang has a winner here.
Very interesting and great experience. You are paying for the experience, the food is good
Amazing from start to finish. A real indulgence for a special occasion. Romantic, exciting, and the chefs and entire staff were lovely.
Truly a bucket list experience. Words cannot describe my experience. It was more like a religious event tasting food that good.
This was an impossible reservation to get when I used to live in NY. I happened upon an early one just this past weekend (several years later), and despite my concern that the restaurant may be now past its prime, this place does not disappoint. Inventive, innovative, and most importantly DELICIOUS food in a sexy and unpretentious place. I want to eat here over and over again. Service was perfect, attentive and friendly without being annoying. Cannot wait to come back.
Fantastic. One of the best dinning experiences.
Top dining experience. Sublime flavors and outstanding wine/spirit pairings.
This was knockout from start to finish. Non-pretentious service and one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Expensive, but think of it as dinner and a show, because you’ll be entertained. Amazing. Leave 2.5-3hrs to dine.
Incredible tasting menu, absolutely worth it. We had a wonderful time watching the food cooked in front of our eyes and each course was better than the last
Fantastic experience. Beautiful food and service, took care of us on our honeymoon.
Truly one of the greatest meals I have ever had. There were two dishes that are up there with the top 10 bites of food I have ever eaten. Wonderfully creative, excellent staff, exciting seating around the kitchen; could not have asked for more. Also great chats with chefs and wait staff about food, drinks and restaurants - you must go.
The server was extremely knowledgeable about all of the wines with the pairings. I wish I could remember her name but she had a compass tattoo on her arm. The food was outstanding. Definitely would recommend!
Amazing overall experience from start to finish. Service was personable and professional, the meal was delicious, unique, and innovative, beer selection was amazing, and the ambience was excellent. We enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to go back!
Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every course was flawlessly executed and tasted exquisite. So so worth the special occasion kind of treat. If you’re on the fence, stop it- just take the plunge and make the reservation (30 days in advance)
Perhaps out best dinner ever.......no menu......small plates, but perfectly spaced........
excellent service.......excellent food!
Amazing!! Inventive but accessible.
The service was very attentive. The food was good, interesting blend of textures and flavors but the desserts were a disappointment. There were 3 of us in the party and none of us enjoyed the wild rice ice cream with seaweed(my husband and I took a little taste and my daughter passed entirely) and the 2nd dessert was a mandarin tart tartin (but it was baked as a round circular individual dessert -but each person's serving was a half of one-a little tacky at this price point to not bake and serve individual portions but presented to diner as an obvious cut half of a round tart......onto which they shaved cheese over it....presentation could definitely have been better. As for the rest of the dinner, I guess I have had better sushi ( one dish was a black seabass sushi wrapped around a green veg) and the Maine uni with chickpea puree was good(but again have had better uni). One of the mains was cod with butternut squash.....it was ok- not something to be wowed by. And the feature dish of duck breast was also ok- the meat was tender but the skin and fat were a chewy texture and the accompanying mushroom lacked flavor.
From the moment we entered to the moment we left, it lived up to the hype and then some. Utterly fantastic experience and meal.
I love this place. From the very first time I ever ate here at the original location. Every time and I mean every time I visit NYC, I eat here. One of my all time favorite places in the world to eat.
This 2 service system is not good. We were almost kicked out (they bring the bill even before you ask for it) since our table was booked for the second round of service.
This is sad in a 2* restaurant where you would lîke to spend the evening.
Amazing as usual! We make an extra trip every year to visit Momofuku Ko. It never disappoints!!
I used to dine a Ko a lot. It was very exciting with excellent, new dishes along with a few regulars.
Now there are more regulars and the entire meal is merely very good.
It may be that the chef de cuisine was not in the house..
The music used to be fun. Now it's just loud.
The attitude of the support staff from when you arrive until you leave is unndessarily unwelcoming. So much millennial vibe.
The wines are superb and this is the only thing left of the Ko that I used to know.
Not going back so fast. Too bad.
Amazing food. Unforgettable experience. The beef and peppercorn is the best beef I’ve ever tasted
We were happy to eat at Ko, beautifull dishes and very tastefull. The showcooking is a nice extra to the cool environment! Overall we had a superb diner!
The only important remark we can make is : ‘cool should not be chilled’. We were seated in the corner close to the door and it felt uncomfortable cold. We mentioned this and was anticipated very kindly with a blanked (so probably not the first time someone complained), but no other seating was offered. I booked the restaurant 30days in advance, so it wasn’t a last minute...
Honestly i was disappointed. I went to three 2 star restaurants in 3 days with my mother who was visiting and this was our least favourite. Dishes are overpowered by one ingredient every time, the duck dish is a lot to take as part of a 15 course dinner. The fois gras dish was the highlight i have to say but nothing else is really memorable. The music was blasting and we could hardly hear the waiters telling us what we were eating let alone have a conversation. Im surprised this place got their second star renewed. You can find much better fine dining with an edge in the city for the same or cheaper.
Everything was wonderful except the music choices, played mostly rap which was not the demographic of the people eating
One of the best tasting menus I have ever had. Definitely the best duck I have ever had. The presentation of the food was lovely. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly.
Best meal of my life.
Totally worth the investment. Amazing experience!
Everyone was super friendly and personable. Truly cared about how we were enjoying the experience and loved that we were celebrating our anniversary with them. The food was obviously incredible!
It was not perfect, but memorable. Give it a try.
The dishes at Momofuku Ko were unique and well presented but, unfortunately, no single dish was exceptional. We left just full enough, but we were quite underwhelmed with the experience. Honestly, if this menu was around 150pp i'd maybe go back, but it wasn't anywhere near worth the cost when compared to what you would get at an equivalent. Also, the drinks list needs work - a limited selection and the not having non-alcoholic beverages (coffee etc) included in the degustation cost was a total suprise and quite frankly, a little tacky. The staff did put in effort to connect with us, but it felt quite forced and that everyone was trying to create some sort of "experience", i'm still not sure what it was though.. We left feeling confused by the evening and, to me, it was all very manipulated and lacked heart. I'm sorry to say that I would not reccomend this for a special evening to remember.
So good! And original.
Very nice lunch. Excellent food, friendly service, wonderful to see the chefs at work and to interact with them. We had the wine pairing, which was very exciting as they have two different teas and a sake. It was beautiful. The service could not have been friendlier, we got a complimentary glass of sparkling wine for our anniversary. It made the occasion all the more special.
Wonderful experience at the counter. Staff calm and professional. Lighthearted and engaging. Lovely to see them enjoy their work allowing us to enjoy our food even more seeing their passion. The music hit all the right notes for a fantastic evening with my daughter and wife. Perfect combinations of food, family, staff, and environment. Only thing was a touch cold but was offered nice warm blanket. The way me pairing helped too! Thank you for the memorable evening!
