Amazing, Amazing, Amazing... food, service, food
The counter seating was the best experience, we were offered the tasting course for $225, and it was phenomenal. Service was excellent, before every meal the chefs would come over and explain all the ingredients. The servers were very attentive, and they were great about suggesting beverages that complement your meal. Great experience!
Celebrating my birthday which is next week with a date. Phenomenal experience and amazing cuisine. Cannot wait to come again!
When you have an emotional reaction to the last dish because you know that the meal is ending. It is that good.
I loved the food and dessert! The staff was super friendly. In addition to the food the drinks were amazing as well.
Awesome place. Excellent service. Great tasting food. Mind blown!
Fantastic meal and service. Lived up to the hype. Counter seating all the way, totally worth watching the chefs at work.
Excellent personalized hospitality with decadent food and wine. A delicious treat<
A clear attention to detail and awesome creativity without pretense
Ko is as much of a life experience as it is a remarkable meal. Highly, highly recommended for any foodie.
Fab dinner at Ko. Our server Mayumi could not have been more helpful. All courses were top notch and watching the artistry and choreography of the staff was amazing.
Exceptional food and the most complete, delightful culinary experience I've ever had. The service was stellar.
Momofuko Ko clearly deserves its Michelin stars. The food, service, and just the overall experience was something I'll remember for a lifetime. It is a lot of food though, so come hungry and with a desire for adventure. I'm not an uni fan and thought at the time that I wasn't sure if I liked it, but I find myself craving that specific dish. Just amazing!
As always, very, very good. Can't wait to come back.
I found the restaurant over rated. Food was ok but pretentious and so was the service. Would not go back. Dinner was very expensive, wine list very strange with a lot of odd choices.
Solid week the some long time staples. Great people and always a fun time. If you love food and you’re in nyc then you need to go, enjoy
Had an opportunity to celebrate a slightly belated anniversary dinner.
Have to admit that the high price take gave me slight pause, not out of concerns that we wouldn't receive excellent food and service, but whether the experience would still feel worth it.
Very happy to say that we were thrilled with the experience and absolutely felt it was worth the cost.
Service is very warm, professional but not stuffy.
Food was beautiful, creative but not too cute and insanely delicious.
I tried the wine pairing, have to credit them with some fascinating, unusual and delicious choices.
Extra bonus was the counter seating which allowed us to watch the chefs work and prepare each dish. Very cool to watch people at the top of their games work as a team.
Overall we had a wonderfully memorable experience. Highly recommend if you're lucky
Amazing as always. My 2nd visit to Ko this year was just as incredible as my first. Wonderful tasting menu, creative & fun. Awesome wine selection.
Amazing. Underrated. Hip hop. A journey.
The place was amazing and the servers were super nice. They were able to manage all my dietary restrictions, but the food really ranged from great to just ok.
I follow David Chang and have cooked professionally. Momofuku was a complete FLOP!
We we’re given NO options and food just started arriving. No preferences were asked and no one told us how the (awful) experience was going to unfold.
We understood that it was a tasing menu, but thought there were choices like Blue Hill where we dined the night before.
Dishes were unremarkable! Staff was busy cleaning and gave us no attention. The salt in my wound was $26 for the lightest pour of medicine wine I’ve ever had.
@DavidChang your TV surpassed your food. Not to mention the ludicrous price
A classic gem in the New York food scene. The food remains the star, but the service makes it great. My server, Mayumi (sp), was the pinnacle of knowledge, professionalism, and fun. Loved having the chefs present me with each dish, I just wish they had spoken a little louder so I could capture the details; the after-dinner menu did not go into much detail.
A restaurant that's definitely worth going. The food was great and the staff there are super friendly. Loooooooved their bread and cultured butter. The wine pairing was also pretty good. Will def go back again.
Very good experience, deserve the 2 stars!
Incredible. Worth the price
Delicious, inventive fare in a casual, yet refined setting. A must go to spot for any foodie.
We had an awesome experience. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Of course the food was phenomenal. We had gone to the original Ko many years ago, and this was a wonderful second coming.
If only we could afford to come here more often! But you can see why, with so many chefs preparing your food right in front of you. Tip: The wine pairing is more than enough for 2 or 3 people to share. In fact, there is so much wine that 4 moderate drinkers could share it.
Excellent food , great service and cool ambiance!
It was delicious and innovative food
Been a while since I’ve been to Ko (last went in 2010 at the old location)...the general experience was good but the food was a bit of a let down. The dishes were fairly generic NY Times list selections of things that might be considered “peculiar” but were generally just overly rich and unremarkable. Obviously it’s been a long time (since 2010), but the menu used to be more focused on savory and just all around delicious dishes...that said, the service and ambiance were still fantastic. I personally enjoy the bigger venue relative to the old one but can see the merits of the smaller intimate setting of the old location. Either way though, the service and ambiance exceeded expectations again and made for a very enjoyable experience.
Overall dishes were too salty (even the desserts!) which spoiled this dining experience for us. Very disappointed considering the reputation and price of this restaurant. We won’t be returning or recommending this place.
An absolutely amazing dining experience. Have eaten at multiple 1, 2, and 3 Michelin star restaurants in the past month and this was easily my favorite. Highly highly recommend!!
To the team at Momofuku Ko,
Thank you for such a wonderful and gracious experience at your restaurant. The food, ambiance, and service was impeccable. I loved the open kitchen and the immaculate and precise preparation of our entire meal. We traveled from Texas to have your tasting menu and it is by far the most wonderful meal my partner and I have ever had. From the meticulous plating and presentation, to the incredible staff in the kitchen and on the floor, it was all around an outstanding few hours spent in your company. My hat goes off to every single employee at Momofuku and to the amazing David Chang (fan girl moment).
I thank all of you for your work in making this the prime highlight of our trip to New York City.
With Warm Regards,
Laura Calderon and Trevor Stephenson
What a wonderful meal, one of the best of my life! We had the tasting menu with drinks pairing, all courses and drinks were outstanding. The 6 weeks aged meat was super tender and yummy. The ambiance was great and quite relaxed - nice 80s and rap music - and the service was spot on. Would definitely recommend, even though the price is quite high. Once in a lifetime experience!
Wonderful dining experience. Great food, service and ambiance. 9pm seating was ideal. Stayed until 12:30. Never felt rushed. Everything exquisite and tailored to your tastes.
Very very good.
For this price it should be somewhere between amazing and wonderful. Which it wasn't.
Excellent sushi chef, Cozun. Probably the best I've ever experienced, and I've been in many traditional Japanese sushi restaurants. If you're looking for atmosphere " quote " don't go. If you're looking for amazing skill and amazing food and you're willing to pay the price for such a thing. Please go.
Everything was amazing. Such a splashy fun experience.
It’s the best. I come here every time I visit NYC
