MOMO kitchen & market
At MOMO we want our guest to know that it is possible to have wonderful, creative, and innovative cuisine outside of downtown with the same standards and quality that you would experience from a fine dining restaurant to artisinal deli. .
Our menu options are seasonal and change based on the ingredients availability and inspirations of the kitchen. We take pride in our values and hope to continue to grow and support the local food community.
All of the food tasted great. Very pricey for the size of the portions.
This was my second time eating at Momo and was delighted both times. Cannot think of a negative word.
Great food and atmosphere. Really enjoyed first experience there. We will go back.
The food and service were excellent. We really enjoyed the brussels sprouts. We'll definitely be back.
We made a reservation and confirmed with open table ...drove with two other couples to find it was closed. I understand but it would have been nice to have seen that online or received a communication. Or just not been able to make a reservation. Very frustrating. May try again but not soon ☹️ for our evening ended up being a wait elsewhere for a table for 6. Did not appreciate that!
It's a cute place that offers good food. The waitress was attentive but hampered by a very slow food delivery. We weren't in a hurry but the overall time from seating to leaving was almost three hours and we an appetizer and all had salad with protein added. They were very busy and may have been short in staffing.
We met some friends there after work as my work is just around the corner. We all really enjoyed the food and beverage selections. The service was a little slow but it was a busy Friday night and we weren't in a hurry. It was a little loud but like I said it was a busy night. Definitely recommend Momo to all!
wonderful experience as always!!!! Our friends greatly enjoyed their first experience also!
Our experience was amazing the food was amazing the service was amazing and the restaurant is amazing and very clean even though we were in Goosecreek we really felt like we were in a downtown Charleston High end restaurant atmosphere!!!!
This is my second experience at Momo and I wasn't as impressed this time. Overall, our experience was pleasant but there were a few things lacking. The temperature inside the restaurant was pretty uncomfortable. I asked for the daily special and the waitress couldn't explain it very well to me, I had to check out your Facebook page for further details. I was sad that you couldn't order your Brussel sprouts as a side dish. I think it's a great establishment, but today it was just lacking the extras I experienced on my first visit.
We decided to try Momo Kitchen and were not disappointed. The restaurant is in a small strip mall so you might miss it but you'd be missing a great dining experience. The service was warm and friendly and the food was outstanding and reasonably priced. We started with the smoked trout dip and Ritz Crackers. Delicious! I had the special which was more expensive but worth it. It was four large sea scallops perfectly seared which came with brussel sprouts fried with pork bellies and seared peaches in a bourbon sauce. I'm still wishing I had more. My wife had the summer strawberry salad. A good portion of greens with strawberries, feta cheese, and walnuts on a light strawberry vinaigrette. She also added the shrimp. That was excellent as well. If we didn't have dessert waiting at home I would have tried that as well. The bill was $98 which included the tip and two glasses of wine.
Momo never fails to amaze. This is one of our very favorite restaurants in the Lowcountry. Food, service, friendliness. They have it all.
Food is very good with a wonderful presentation. Need more gluten free options now that Quail is,coming off the menu
Amazing food. I mean, amazing. Everything we tried was so good. Pimento cheese with pickles. Shrimp and Grits. Pan seared scallops. All so delicious. And the service was exemplary. Our waiter, Zach, was so friendly. So was everyone else we talked with. This will be one of my go to places from now on. Do yourself a favor and eat at MOMO Kitchen!
Excellent food. Service was great. Had a downtown feel without going all the way downtown.
Outstanding Quality of Food, and Service. We will return to this place often. Great place in Goose Creek.
Momo is a great spot in Goose Creek. It is a much welcome change to the restaurant scene. They offer fresh local foods with a short menu that doesn’t disappoint. I enjoyed the strawberry spinach salad with grilled shrimp that left me anting more. We also enjoyed the pimento cheese and pickles appetizer. The venue is very small so if you have a large group make a reservation ahead. It was also somewhat loud but the service was outstanding! Overall, we will be eating here often.
food is present beautifully. glad to have quality food in Summerville area
A last minute find on Open Table for lunch (while travelling) and got us in immediately. I agree, a true hidden gem outside the Holy City. Get the deviled eggs!
This restaurant was great! Really, an undiscovered jewel.
As I said to our waiter after the appetizers, my tastebuds were very happy! We had the Fall salads for our entrees, and they were excellent !!
Food was excellent experience was great
Farm to table, fresh, local seafood
My wife and I tried Momo on a recommendation from a friend. It is a small and pleasant place with a neo modern atmosphere. This is no fuss food and very well done making it a local neighborhood gem. We enjoyed our dinners and have agreed that this is a good date night place. Give them a try.
This was the third time there and the second for dinner. A minor complaint - the menu could be a little more expansive as it is limited. The quality of the food is excellent!
We had a wonderful evening. Appetizers , especially the deviled eggs, were incredible. Good selection of beer and wine. The Shrimp and grits as well as the Steak Special were delicious and portions were very good. The wait staff was very efficient. Overall incredible food with good friends. Will definitely go back.
The food at this venue was delicious. Service was just ok but it seemed like there was only one server. We will go back for sure.
Excellent Food, great ambiance! Best restaurant in Goose Creek!
I would have given it 3 stars overall except for the waitress service, she made it that much better. 1st we had reservations for two and were put at a table for two, no big deal but it was right by the door and kind of block another table. After we ordered, the drinks came quick enough, the food on the other hand took so long that the waitress was very apologetic, offered us a dessert on her and didn’t charge us for out second round of drinks. The food was great by the way, but the waitress made it better, give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
Food was great, and Bailli is an excellent server.
No. The fish was raw and the tomato soup was cold and the teak was way over priced. The first time went went there the grits were cold in the shrimp and grits. This was our last time at this place
Finally Goose Creek has a restaurant worth being excited about. I've been twice in the last 2 weeks and have been pleased each time. The cheese platter is delish as is the poutine.
Food was great the waitress Bailey was a
Amazing... overall great atmosphere. A jewel in the goose creek area 😍👌🏾
Absolutely fantastic. Food is fresh and creative. The blend of flavors is amazing. Fabulous service. Very attentive about food allergies. So happy that this wonderful restaurant just opened.
Husband I’ve seen bigger McNuggets. I expected them to be small, just greater in quantity for a $24 adult dinner plate. The best thing about the fare were the sauces. Blackberry au jus was ambrosial - thank goodness because the quail was dry and tasteless- deviled eggs were “pretty” but weren’t as savory as mine. The delectable steak sauce was a welcome addition to the overcooked flavorless steak. We were disappointed to say the least. The owner/bartender was too busy chatting up a party that had already been served to notice other patrons with empty glasses and unserved food in the window. our deviled egg “snack” was actually served by the owner our meals...we were not impressed- also frustrated that they were out of daily special, two white wines and shrimp n grits before 745 on Saturday night...we will not be back and do not recommend MOMO. Way overpriced for a mediocre meal, sporadic service, deli atmosphere and gritty experience. Best thing I can say is that they did have a table reserved for us, which they pointed out (literally) when we came through the door whilst on the way to serve another table their food. Yeah. We seated ourselves. Not even close to a fine dining nor artisanal deli experience. Go somewhere else, especially if you expect to be served in the traditional sense.
Wonderful. creative dishes we really enjoyed. loved the quail. not sure we got our points.
Just needs a couple more Entrees. Otherwise, awesome!
