I eat there often on this night it took way to long to be served
Absolutely phenomenal food was outstanding great little restaurant that delivers all around
Me and my family went again to eat pizza. Ricotta and eggplants is my favorite! Broccoli and sausage is very good as well!
Crunchy and delicious!
Service is great!
Great place !!! Highly recommend for a great dinner. Can’t wait to go back
Best meal we have ever had!! Can’t wait to go back!
It was fine but not dandy
Excellent food, starting with freshly baked bread they bring to the table when you sit down.
Me and my family had a great dinner. NIKI was simply awesome, kind and attentive.
The pizza was very good. Crispy and fragrant and we loved the freshness of the ingredients.
Food was really good. Chicken Marsala was to die for. Fine dining side is a little cramped in size.
Food was good. Our server was good, but overworked. They were clearly shot staffed, which added to wait time considerably.
We went for Valentine’s Day. We had a delicious pear appetizer, split a bottle of wine, both had salads, chicken piccata, and chicken parm. It was excellent service. Oh, and an amazing cheesecake dessert. Food was delicious. Would def recommend. We stayed in the Poconos for the weekend and drove over.
Great Italian food. Would recommend sitting in the dining room area if you don’t want pizza. Fresh pasta was great. Really enjoyed our meals and would definitely go back!
Great Italian find. One side pizzeria one side fine dining, both great!
Very good food
A wonderful experience at Momento! This is no standard chain Italian restaurant-- the food is original, full of amazing subtle flavors, beautifully presented. Best polenta appetizer we've ever had, and wonderful beet salad with surprising but perfectly combined ingredients. The shrimp scampi had such a light flavor, no overpowering garlic and tender shrimp. My husband enjoyed his seafood dish. Loved loved loved the rolls with the tapenade, but caution: that peppers in oil is HOT! Of course, we ended with tiramisu and ate every bite. Darrin was a splendid server, and judging from the crowd, this is a favorite place to dine.
A great Italian restaurant in the Poconos. Nicola is truly a wonderful Chef!
Very good food in the Poconos Area. Chef will make anything you want. Just ask.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in this part of the Poconos. Sophisticated, well-represented, and delicious food. Darren, our old favorite waiter from the long closed Sand Springs Restaurant, took great care of us, taking our cues for a leisurely meal. It was perfect start to finish. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
Absolutely fantastic meal!!
Excellent food, cocktails and service. The food was truly outstanding.
Great restaurant! Great food! Great service! Special grandpa-granddaughter dinner! My granddaughter loved her ravioli and the fresh bread! Grandpa really enjoyed his linguini and clams!! Will be back again next year when coming to Great Wolf Lodge!!
Great food! Prepare to wait! We were seated quickly, but had to wait awhile for appetizers and entrees.
Sunday evening sitting on the dinner side; 3 tables occupied and 3 wait staff working; waited 3/4 hr. to take order; when my dinner finally arrived it was cold. Guess it was the chef's night off because it is generally fine.
Great food and prices. Service was excellent.
Hidden gem. Menu and specials had so many choices that it was hard to chose. Everything we chose was amazing. Our meal ended with one of the best creme brûlée I’ve had. Perfect.
We were a party of ten that had reservations for several weeks prior and we waited 1 hour and 25 minutes for our dinner. We were disappointed with the wait.
We are very sorry for the wait. We never want to disappoint anyone as we take our business very serious. The family who had an earlier reservation at your table lingered far longer than the two and 1/2 hours we provided between reservations. I am guessing it was because of them getting together for the holiday. By the time you sat two other large tables sat causing backlog in the kitchen as we were booked solid. Nothing can change your experience but we do hope to see you again.
My brother and wife was in town from New York visiting for Thanksgiving, enjoyed the lunch and the great service. Our waitress was awesome!
Fine dining pricing without the fine dine experience and quality. Wine selection was poor and the Pinot Noir we ordered was served above proper serving temperature. That started us off on the wrong foot immediately. Appetizer of muscles were good, but never have seen a “fine dine” not serve them with the small forks to get the muscles out. Using a normal size fork is difficult on those little guys. Ordered chicken Marsala, which came out with two small medallion and barely had any flavor. The angel hair with garlic and oil I had on the side was rubbery with hard pieces still present. A fine dine also has real napkins where this was paper napkins and white, where they should have black as an option for those of us who don’t want the white residue left on our black pants. The server was good however and knew her specials off the top of her head.
There was no atmosphere there either and felt really flat.
We won’t be back.
We have listened to your criticism. We are not Fine dining as no jacket or dress code is required in the comfortable setting of the Poconos. We are known as Italian Trattoria with a little Franco flair due to Chef Nicola's background in France. Albeit you will not be back, thanks for giving us a try.
Chef Nicola is absolutely the best Chef in the Poconos, and the staff is great as well. Truly a wonderful Italian Restaurant! The food is quite delectable because it is fresh, wholesome, and well prepared.
Great place for a date night in Stroudsburg! Good wine selection. On the pricier side for quality and service. We ate on the fine dining side while there is also a casual side of the restaurant featuring a bar and pizza options.
Went on a weekend was busy. Food was tasty and fresh. Husband ordered the lasagna when he got to the center it was cold, server sent it back to be warmed up. Waited awhile, manager came over told her that we sent it back and were waiting on it, food never came back out. We finally gave up and were thankful for the large portions as he finished the rest of my meal.
Great food and multiple seasonal specials.
My friends and I from central PA went into NYC for a show and stopped here on the way home. It was fantastic. We have some fine restaurants in Lewisburg, but this one is mighty fine!
Hidden gem, had a fabulous meal! Very creative menu. We'll be back!!!
We are fans of this place..main course took an hour and half to get this time..very disappointed with the delay
There was a snafu with our reservation because this restaurant has 2 different dining areas. But we were accommodated at our reservation time just not in the requested dining area, which turned out OK. The noise level coming from the kitchen and pizza ovens was distracting at first. The bread and food was fantastic with fresh homemade pasta. Best lasagna I've ever had, although not conventional. The wait staff was excellent. It sits back off the road a bit so it's easy to miss and the parking lots is full of potholes but definitely worth it.
We stopped in for lunch and ordered the butternut squash soup and chicken broth/soup. The butternut soup was flavorful and well-prepared. As for the chicken leg in a broth base it was mediocre at best. We also ordered the linguine with clams and that was delicious. On the other hand the pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was watery and lacked flavor. I was expecting this dish to have more "punch" to it but not this time. Perhaps it was because there was only one person waiting tables who had to greet customers and tend bar and take orders and serve food and bus tables and so on and so on. Impressive but also compromises overall quality. A bit of a disappointment but two dishes out of four were very good so I guess we can't always get a "home-run".
Chef Nicola did an outstanding job on our meal. We did the 5 course tasting and everything was absolutely amazing. Service was excellent and they even had my favorite wine on their wine list (Caymus Cabernet) for a great price! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a really special night
First time there, and was blown away...the Octopus is a must! Everything was delish!
