Momed - Beverly Hills Ratings and Reviews
We loved Momed! Service was fantastic. We had a fresh juice with tumeric and ginger that was amazing. For lunch we had a trio of dips and the falafal sandwich. Both are worth coming back to have again! We also had a few cocktails which were all made with good fresh ingredients. I'm a snob when it comes to artificial flavoring and syrups rather than the real ingredients. We will definitely be back and want to try brunch next time.
This was our second of many visits to come. Momed excels at both food and service. The flavors are rich and the variety of choices on the menu is fantastic. The staff are attentive, friendly, and they make you feel like you are welcome. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Momed was a surprising find for an unusual, delicious brunch. Authentic Mediterranean specialties, with flavors not usually found in American cooking. The server was so professional, helpful and easygoing, encouraging us to try certain dishes she was sure she would enjoy, like the brussel sprouts, which were great! Lots of flatbreads to try, as well as unusual egg dishes.
The food was ok and may have been better if the service was up to par. We were rushed, the kitchen closed and we were never told or asked if we would like something else and forget about dessert. It was put away and lights were out before we were even done! Horrible.
We live in the neighborhood and often go for brunch on the weekends. Dinner is not their strength and it is overpriced for what it is . For good middle eastern food at dinner time we'll stick with Cafe Istanbul just down the street. One more thing- charging for xtra pita bread to go with the Appetizer plate that came with 3 small pitas for 3 people did not make a lot of points with us . We won't be rushing back😒
The food here is exactly what you would expect from MOdern MEDiterranean. Creative twists on classic tastes served in a modern setting. The food tasted exceptionally fresh. Waiters were knowledgeable and the kitchen had great timing. Highly recommend for a light casual meal and great food for sharing.
Give this place 5 star because, the service was excellent so was the food. It's a prefect place just to sit down and look at a great view of Beverly Hills. i at lunch there and the food was great .. but after it was really easy to go where i want in Beverly Hills so you know the location was great also.
This is not our first visit. We return often as we find the food to be consistently fresh and tasty. There are a variety of flavors based on foods from several mid-east countries. This time we brought friends who have not been here before, and we have done that many times before. Our friends are always grateful for the introduction. In short, we do not hesitate to recommend this restaurant or to bring friends to it.
Reasonably priced, creative and quite tasty Mediterranean cuisine and some good options on wine by the glass. They have a small outdoor section (about eight tables) on the sidewalk - it was delightful on my visit. One curiosity is the "Turkish latte," which comes in a very large cup and can even be had decaf - none of which sounds very Turkish to me, but it was good! Service was very good as well.
Outstanding meal! My friend and I agreed the roasted pear/endive/fennel salad with citrus viniagrette was the best salad ever. We also split a pide which was just delicious (cheese and Za'atar). We were celebrating my birthday early, and the wonderful, fun waiter brought our berry tiramisu (berramisu?) with a candle in it! Very special evening, I'll be back for sure.
Although I have eaten at Momed before and enjoyed the food, this time not so much. We ordered grilled octopus which was quite tough. This means it was not prepared properly prior to grilling it and for $19.50 it should have been tender. We also ordered the tag one to share which was a very skimpy portion for $27.50 and flavorless. We did enjoy the Lebanese beee.
