Momed - Beverly Hills
Super super bad food
Momed is a special place...a simple neighborhood place with outstanding food and service.
We love it there....a very interesting menu, a friendly staff.
We have been eating at Momed for the past 6 years and is has increased in price and gone down in value. The quality of the food is still pretty good but the pita is given more sparingly and the salmon use to come with more than warm greens under it. To charge extra for more pita is ridiculous in a restaurant that is already pricey. Also, the service was pretty incompetent at our last visit, and we had to send back the baklava bread pudding because it tasted spoiled (they removed it from the bill).
Attended the Immigrant Dinner. Wonderful experience. Great food curated by Bita Milanian and a fantastic charitable cause by owner, Alex Sarkissian.
Friendly staff, delicious meal and a pact house.
Bravo and Brava to all involved.
Fantastic service and amazing food. Management is truly great and takes care of each and every guest. The food is of highest quality
The special Immigrant dinner was amazing, some of the best Persian cuisine ever! You need to invite this guest chef back again!
Attentive service, delicious food, and a quiet and comfortable outdoor seating area. Will certainly be back for brunch in the future!
Delicious as always. And the happy hour is a great deal on drinks.
My family enjoyed healthy & fresh mediterranean food in Momed. The octopus entree was awsome. All other dishes were excellant. Staffs were kind.
Only weakness was parking. We should go round and round the building looking for parking place for more than 10 minutes until we managed to park our vechicle in Pavillion. Anyway I'd like to visit the place again!
Love it here - first time and will definitely come back for more.
So- here’s the rub... we’re familiar with the Atwater location (very nice- much larger - completely different). Food just as good. But my gal went to the Atwater location with a friend 2 days later- ordered the same salad - and the portion at Atwater was 1/2 THE SIZE as it was at BH location!!!!!! WTF????? That really SUCKS GANG!!!
I took my wife and mom here for Mother’s Day. Considering the occasion, I would’ve thought the wait staff would have made it a priority to make everyone feel special. Unfortunately, we were left with the impression that everybody working in the restaurant was new to the job. Very disappointing.
Great spot, what it lacks in atmosphere, it more than makes up in service and flavor. Great find, and I'll certainly be back. Highlights were the falafel, dip sampler, meatballs, and Mary's chicken. Service was helpful and friendly. Wine list is small, but does the trick - bring your own for $20 if you need a bigger selection.
Quaint place! Food was excellent! Service great!
This is my family's second time at Momed and we will definitely be back. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and are accommodating when we have to adjust our reservation time/number. There is something on the menu for everyone. Our favorites have been: the Ba'zar salad, the lamb meatballs, the burger (both lamb and beef), and the house pita. The patio is our favorite place to sit, since it's a little noisy inside.
Great food. Nice place to sit outside with our dog, so it was a hit with us. Service was very pleasant and helpful with the menu.
Loved the subtle flavors, and the great preparation of vegetables... great food, low key and sweet waiters.
The food was incredible and our waiter was so kind and professional . Still my favorite place in Beverly Hills!
We love the food and the service.
We have brought guests and they want to come back to the restaurant. The food is so fresh and tasty.
Great food great waitress!
I think my major objection is the ambience of this place. For some reason, it lacks any charm or warmth. The food isn’t bad, and eating outside is fine.
The food is consistently excellent. The flatbreads are amazing and are not to be missed. Great selection of main courses as well as salads. I've never been disappointed.
The food was horrible ! The food quality was very bad and also very expensive !!!!
Honestly, a subpar experience. Service was meh. Food wasn’t great and had to be sent back because it was so dry and tough. Original preference for a meal had already run out but they didn’t know at first. The wine was the best part since it came from somewhere else.
Nothing special, especially when there’s so many other options in the area. It was disappointing to say the least when we were expecting much better based on reviews and the website, etc.
Always enjoyable! Service and waiters are great...as is the food.
In a city full of fabulous restaurants this cute little restaurant fell short. Our model-handsome waiter did fine but the food failed to impress: something as basic as couscous came to us undercooked and not hot enough. The actual restaurant concept is very appealing, the menu items nicely conceived, the flavors coming together fairly well, and the overall atmosphere casual yet refined.
Atmosphere is great. It’s an open kitchen so you can see but most especially smell the cooking.
Service was also great. Very attentive and the recommendation was spot on for what I was looking for but didn’t know I needed.
Food tasted delicious! I ordered the lamb kebab cooked perfectly medium. The accompanying cauliflower, raisins, almonds, Greek salad topping and aioli were a perfect pairing. Fully seasoned and provided a nice warmth to the dish. I didn’t get dessert as I was extremely full, but I would definitely return as the hummus, pita flatbreads and salmon dishes looked and smelled phenomal as they passed by me.
Lighting needs great improvement, that would help fill the place at night. The ambience is poor, while food and servers quite nice. That’s why we return every few months.
Would go more often, but the feeling in the place doesn’t beckon.
Great meal. Never disappointed here. Our waitress was amazing, especially when our meal took longer than normal to come out.
Delicious food and excellent service.
Great food. Amazing service
Consistantly good food, creative menu. Love this place
Felt more like a cafeteria than a trendy lunch spot
Restaurant open until 10p according to the website. Opentable accepting reservations until 930p. I grab it, and include a note that I will be attending a local dance performance scheduled to end at 915p, so that I might be a few minutes late, but easily there before 10p. But when I check my cellphone after the performance (as I'm getting ready to head to Momed), I see a voicemail from the restaurant. Since they were having a slow night they decided to close early, at about 915p. What's the point of posting a specific closing time on your website if you then choose to close early because it's slow? If you want the right to do that, then put on your website what restaurants used to do: post an opening time and then simply say "until close..." That may be irritating to the consumer, and require a phone call, but it's better than showing up at 930p only to find that the kitchen is closed.
We began going to Momed when it first opened in Beverly Hills several years ago. We loved the food. It has been some time since we returned to the restaurant to dine in because every time we ordered take out over the past year or so the food quality was worse than the time before. But we thought we'd try it again and took two friends last Sunday evening. The service was excellent but the food was sub par. The quality of food and the variety has gone way down. Hope management and owners realize that to be successful the quality of food must continue to meet the highest of standards. Our experience over the past two years is the quality of food has diminished with each visit. We won't return because as residents of this neighborhood there are so many other options.
The rrstaurant was closed despite my having a confirmed reservation. Very disappointing.
Great food and service
Excellent Mediterranean options, friendly service, some interesting MidEastern wine selections. Lighting and music a bit odd.
Family get together. Everyone liked the food. I found it a bit pricey for what we ate but it is expensive real estate.
