Food was excellent, service a little slow. It was a busy night but we had to wait for drink & water refills. Will be back
The view was spectacular, but it’s so overpriced it’s not worth going back. The service left a lot to be desired. The food was good, but not good enough to warrant $80 a person once you add a glass of wine or two and dessert. Our first & last visit.
Never have I been passed over so many times while waiting to be served. Bus boy was serving us for some reason and it was clear he had no server experience. Was given complimentary drinks by management due to complaint but the manager never came back to check on us. Wanted to order dessert but took 15 mins or more to come back to our table so my wife and I left. Romantic dinner ruined.
I’ve dinned in fine restaurants across the globe and this had to be the worst experience I’ve had. The meal itself was excellent so my only compliments are to the chef.
Service was absolutely terrible. Had to chase down a waiter to order, to get our check, etc. The pork souvlaki had a funky taste to it. Tasted like it was spoiled. So disappointed will never go here again. The only reason this restaurant survives is because of the view.
Went with my family and my daughter and we all loved it . Amazing food , great staff , kids friendly and beauty view . Would definitely be going more often . Highly recommend to lovers of seafood .
Went there for the mothers day brunch. The food was terrible and the buffet was not kept clean or stocked. Poor service and the $60/person made it a poor experience. Might be a good restaurant on a regular day, but skip the special occasion where buffet is served.
It was Mothers Day. A prefixe buffet. They seated us upstairs which is for large parties or catered events.. The food offering upstairs was less than downstairs in the main dining area. They kept running out of food upstairs and did not refill quickly. Simple things for kids like pasta and Mac and cheese were not refilled in a regular basis. Salmon was constantly out. Never got a piece of the Am
B on the carving station. They carved o e and said another was coming g however during our meal it never did.
The dessert offering upstairs was half of what was downstairs. They should have told us we could go downstairs to get our food which they did not. We finally started doing that by dessert.
The service was poor. We had to keep asking to have our plates bused, for coffee and to bring our wine. We were a party of 11 so there were many plates from a buffet to be cleaned within each course.
We brought this up to a manager and I did not see him do anything about it nor did they offer to do anything for us.
I’ve eaten there before this and had a lovely experience, hw very the reason I made this reservation.
This was very disappointing.
Honestly do not think I'll be back. We went on Mother's Day and it was packed (too packed). It was a buffet, the food was iced cold (and not that great) and the service was terrible! We barely saw our waitress and when we asked her for things, we rarely received it. I came from far to celebrate Mother's Day expecting a great meal and boy was I disappointed! The manager spoke with my boyfriend and he basically said "Its expected with such high volume." I'm sorry - to pay $65 per person for a freezing cold breakfast buffet? How about when you expect high volume and you charge that much, you keep on top of your staff and try and give people the best experience. We spoke with many patrons by the door who all had the same experience as us. Never again...
Early Mother’s Day dinner. Everything was fabulous!
Great views. Our waiter, while very good, was spread too thin. Food was expensive and just so-so. You're really just paying for the views.
I have dined at Molos 5 times and find that the service level keeps getting worse the noise level is totally unacceptable. The waitstaff is unhappy in their jobs. Management reprimands waitstaff in public, needless to say I will not return . To give credit do, the food is good.
It was Ok, Because of the View but the Food was not what we expected for the $$$$
and the service was not very Good.
A wonderful place for Saturday brunch--the grilled octopus is fantastic! Highly recommended.
Went here for an anniversary dinner. The food was good; not the best and not necessarily worth the price of the al a carte offering but I wouldn’t go as far as saying it’s over priced. I do have a shellfish allergy so my menu was rather limited.
The view from the dining room is breathtaking - even in the terrible weather we experienced during our dinner.
The noise level was my biggest complaint. They have a party room upstairs that isn’t soundproofed. The music from the wedding upstairs was very loud in the main dining area and it was borderline distracting. In fact i felt like a party crasher as I was eating dinner.
Lastly. The valet parking was a mess. The attendant was MIA and the restaurant said they had no way to contact him. Turns out the attendant was hiding in the shed to avoid the rain.
That said I would definitely go back on a night without a party and with nicer weather than we had.
It was a really good experience.
The food was great, the service and ambience too.
The only problem was that we didn’t know that on Sunday there was only the brunch menu, not the classic one. Despite than that it was amazing.
I would definitely come back!
Absolutely beautiful skyline views. Service was excellent and food was delicious.
Perfect for special occasion or any other day, beautiful view of NYC food was very good.
I bring my family to Molo's each year for Easter since it has opened. The views of NYC are spectacular, the service is great and the food is amazing. The buffet had both breakfast and lunch menus, making it a difficult choice to decide on what to eat. And the dessert bar had an extraordinary range of choices.
Worth the trip. Always enjoy this place. Each time we go, we order something different. I suggest the Molos chips.
Family night out. The service was great. Friendly staff. Amazing food. Great view.
Brunch menu was a bit limited. The restaurant was super hot that people were fanning themselves. Otherwise the seafood was very fresh. The view was amazing
Great brunch with unlimited mimosa/Bloody Mary option! Amazing views. Can’t wait to come back and sit on the patio.
It's quite hard to beat this place. Incredible views - right on the Hudson, with a view of NYC. For the record, I grew up with that view and their view still blew me away. Incredible food - I've had the wild salmon, lavraki, lobster risotto, octopus, and crab cakes so far. All have been quite good! Finally, the service has consistently been of the highest quality - especially, the bartenders and waiters. Whether you are looking to create a romantic evening or simply gather with humans you care about, this is a great spot.
Great Views, but more importantly what a great menu to choose from. Great Service too!
The location and views are great making it a very popular spot. While there, they had 2 different parties going on (a long table of 12 people and 100 people upstairs). I do take into consideration I may have come on a bad day as another time in the winter it was a much more pleasant experience. We waited 20 minutes to be seated even though we had reservations and staff was very slow to get to us. That being said, the staff was very polite and pleasant. Food was good but nothing great. Place is beautiful. Would try to avoid brunch and do a dinner date there instead.
Worst service ever. Took about 20min to get car valeted. We were a party of 9. It took 20 minutes to get our table ready. Had to ask servers multiple times for water to be refilled, bread brought to the table, etc. at the conclusion of our meal waited until we asked the manager to get our table cleared. It was laughably bad service.
Pros: fish tacos were delicious and the view into Manhattan was gorgeous! The grass outside was also a nice place for the kids to run around afterwards.
Food was exquisite. View is incredible.
If you are looking for seafood brunch, don't come here. I was really hoping for a variety of brunch dishes with a hint of seafood (being that they promote themselves as a seafood restaurant), but they serve (good) basic brunch dishes.
I asked to see the dinner menu, and that looks way more interesting :-) Will have to come back and try their dinner service.
Food and view always great..Exceptional service from Elvis..
Food was great, wonderfull olive oil and good service.
The view is simply breathtaking, no better view anywhere. The menu was interesting, food quality was very good, excellent fish. Service was good. Not an inexpensive evening but worth the price in all respects!
Food, drinks and view amazing!!!! I recommend this restaurant
The food was great. The view is beautiful. Great Service
The view was spectacular. We were seated by the window overlooking the water and NYC. The sun set while we ate and was stunning.
The food and service was very good and the value was reasonable given the expense of such a location. Great for a special event.
Wonderful discovery. Unbeatable views and good food for a unique experience. 100% recommendable.
Service improved from our last visit , food good
The food was good this time. My friends loved the atmosphere and the view as well the ambience. The service was good. But it could improve.
Price is a bit steep, but the view and the friends make it worthwhile.
The nightview is really amazing
And service us also nice
This place rivals any of the top Greek places in the city with a much better view better prices and overall the owner jerry is a class act. Highly recommended.
